V Series Season Two Episode Three “Laid Bare” Pre-Review

Hello once again V Series fans,Click to visit V Series on ABC!

Our long wait for more V Series produced at Warner Brothers facilities is finally over!

Tonight Tuesday January 18, 2011 is the continuation V on ABC of the fantastic V Series. According to the ABC episode description “Erica fights to keep Anna from finding out she’s Fifth Column; Anna orders Ryan to find Malik; Lisa notices her body is changing“. However this is much more to reveal to you without spoiling the fun tonight.

Before we continue, below we include the ABC promo trailer for tonight!

Click to visit and follow Warner Brothers Entertainment on Twitter! We have reviewed the”Laid Bare” third screener episode of V Series. After viewing “Laid Bare” my analysis is that “Serpent’s Tooth” actually leads directly into the third episode revealing precisely what Click to visit HDFilms official web site!the series holds for supporters of the V franchise in season two.

I can say we held off on a pre-review of “Serpent’s Tooth” because this reviewer was convinced in my opinion it is really a two part episode concluding with “Laid Bare”.  I can also say that you will be amazed in lies ahead in “Laid Bare”. You will instead be awestruck by what the show runners of V Series have put together in the third episode.

As we have previously mentioned,  V Series is a an outstanding entertainment creation by the team including of Scott Rosenbaum, Steve Pearlman, Gregg Hurwitz, Rockne S. O’Bannon, Jace Hall of HDFilms, and the great crews over at Warner Brothers who film the series for ABC.

V Series New Banner. Click to visit V on ABC!

This is  minimal spoiler pre-review exploring primarily the promotional trailer included above courtesy of ABC. We also suggest you visit the V Series web site for many more fun videos that are available. If you are “geo-locked” and cannot view the promotional trailers at this time, we include several “Laid Bare” images below as well as our analysis. For many Canadian viewers you can see V Series tonight on affiliate stations. For satellite viewers, V continues on Thursday January 20, 2011 . Please click this text link to view the Space Channel promotional trailers here.

What can we share with you about the ongoing escapades of the absolutely evil Anna (Morena Baccarin)? Hmmmm let me think on that so as to not to spoil too much. Or how about Agent Malik (Rehka Sharma) under the control of the subservient Marcus Visitor (Christopher Shyer)? And what about Lisa Visitor (queen in waiting) now that we know Anna is infertile after her previous “pregnancy? Take a gander folks, its a nightmare!

V Series S2x03 Laid Bare - Anna' and her minion Marcus Visitor!

V Series S2x03 Laid Bare - Lisa is changing

V Series S2x03 Laid Bare - Lisa is fearful of changing

V Series S2x03 Laid Bare - Its Mom!
This reviewer can share that Anna is more evil than ever and is mighty ticked off that anyone would mess with her plans to dominate the Earth. Oh and a cat fight is about to take place! The scenes of the post accident situation with Malik and Erika are more than satisfying and are not much of a spoiler since the sequence was setup in V Series episode two “Serpent’s Tooth”!

V Series S2x03 "Laid Bare" - Cat Fight Erika

V Series S2x03 "Laid Bare" - Cat Fight Malik
Moreover the infant child of Visitor Ryan Nichols (Morris Chesnut) (the Visitor hybrid born on the New York mother ship) is going to be abused and utilized as leverage against Ryan. But we already knew that! However, as we predicted “Best Evil Bitch” and vile Anna Visitor (Morena Baccarin) has become the lovely little reptiles step mother and now plans to use the little monster errrrr “child” in an attempt to black-mail poor Ryan! Now that is not really a spoiler either since Anna revealed her sadistic plans in “Serpent’s Tooth”. The real fun is coming as we all wait with baited breath to learn if Ryan will actually betray the Fifth Column?

V Series S2x03 Laid Bare - Step Momny Dearest!

But will we feel sorry for poor Ryan Nichols if he betrays the cause of the Fifth Column? I mean after all he IS a father of the little reptilian tyke! And who is really rooting for dastardly and wonderfully wicked Anna Visitor! Well I have bad news for the human race! That is correct people, you guessed it! Now that Anna has promised to heal the Earth with “Red Rain”, a majority of humanity thinks she is the “Bee’s Knees”! ZOMG! And what about the good doctor (Bret Harrison)? And for goodness sakes, will the fragile alliance of the resistance hold together after what they learn!?

V Series S2x03 Laid Bare -Can the good doctor be trusted?

V Series S2x03 Laid Bare - The four seek answers!

V Series S2x03 Laid Bare - Tyler and human DNA!
As expected, when Anna Visitor visits her own mother again, as the British would say “The Shyte is going to hit the fan!”and so it will indeed! We really do not need much more evidence that Morena Baccarin is now absolutely the greatest baddest girl actresses in history! She will manipulate Lisa the Queen in waiting Lisa Visitor (Laura Vandervoort) to ensure that her soon to be son-in-law Tyler Evans (Logan Huffman) is the father of a new race of V soldiers much to the horror of humanity!

V Series S2x03 Laid Bare - Poor Princess Lisa Visitor

V Series S2x03 Laid Bare - Tyler father of new breed of soldiers?
Elizabeth Mitchell as Erica Evans continues her excellence in “Laid Bare”. I mean really people “when” has Ms. Mitchell not been excellent?

V Series S2x03 Laid Bare - Agent Evans at work!

And when you see what she instructs Kyle Hobbes to do in tonight episode you will be frankly quite shocked! All I can say without spoiling is that the wicked Anna Visitor. is really going to go crazy when she finds out what Erica Evans does!

V Series S2x03 Laid Bare - Maliks little surprise!
Back to the subject of V Series Queens, the sequence with Jane Badler were discussed to some extent in our an exclusive interview with Ms. Jane Badler. As the new re-imagined her role as “Diana” in the new V Series, the scenes in this weeks episode are again more than awesome. Great performances by Morena Baccarin and Jane Badler! Jane Badler as the “Queen Mother” of the foulest (read best) Anna Visitor continues to amaze and delight this reviewer. The sequences when the two interact are exquisite!

V Series S2x03 Laid Bare - Anna the evilest queen EVER!

V Series S2x03 Laid Bare - Mother of Anna is Diana!
Scott Wolf moves to a new level of duplicity in his performance as Chad Decker in V Series episode three “Laid Bare”. Continuing from “Serpent’s Tooth” where we learned that he wants to join the Fifth Column (acting as a double agent) to maintain access to Anna. The question are will he be discovered? Could Anna have planted something in his brain we may discover later? And will he be loyal to the resistance?   What Mr. Decker has planned for the wicked evil Anna Visitor, Queen of the Reptiles is going to be revealed in part in “Laid Bare”!

V Series S2x03 Laid Bare - Chad Decker Doube Agent!
Continuing to really polish the apple with stunning performances in “Laid Bare” third in the series behind “Serpent’s Tooth” and “Red Rain” are those by Charles Mesure (Kyle Hobbes), Joel Gretsch (Father Jack Landry), Rehka Sharma (Agent Malik) Roark Critchlow (Paul Kendrick), and Scott Hylands (Father Travis). Each of these portrayals is so real that one must applaud their contributions!

V Series S2x03 Laid Bare - Father Jack on Anns screens!

V Series S2x03 Laid Bare Charles Mesure as Hobbes

V Series S2x03 Laid bare - No match found!
Last but not least: As we conclude this pre-review we must once again mention the great music score by Marco Beltrami, superb visual effects by Laura Jones. and the outstanding editing of Geofrey Hildrew, In V Series season 2. Without these oft unmentioned creative genius’ the series would not be as great as it is. That is not to discount the actors, actresses, writers or directors by any means. It is simply that these talented team members “ice the V Cake” and we all love cake do we not?

WHR will continue detailed post air date analysis reviews by our series editor Vala The Great each week after V Series returns to ABC tonight January 18, 2010. My grade for the series what has been accomplished in the V Series season two so far with “Laid Bare”, Serpent’s Tooth” and  “Red Rain”? In the opinion of this reviewer the grade is now an A PLUS! Our long wait for more V Series produced at Warner Brothers facilities is finally over!

This Tuesday January 04, 2011 marks the return on V on ABC and let me tell you the show runners have done an awesome job doing ample justice to this revered science fiction series!

Click to visit and follow Warner Brothers Entertainment on Twitter! We express our thanks to ABC whom has provided our news agency ongoing courtesy. As in season one of V we have been granted advanced access to the “Red Rain” screener episode for a pre-review. Before continuing we pay homage to Kenneth Johnson, creator of V. Without his original genius there would be no V Series for us to enjoy in 2011. Thank you Kenny!

As is our tradition, I have actually viewed “Red Sky” several times to bring you an analysis into what Click to visit HDFilms official web site!the series holds for fans of the V franchise. Let’s just say that not will you will not be disappointed, you will be delighted by what the creators of V Series have accomplished. V Series is a fantastic series of science fiction entertainment artwork by the likes of Scott Rosenbaum, Steve Pearlman, Gregg Hurwitz, Rockne S. Red Rain Pre Review:

This will be a minimal spoiler pre-review primarily discussing the promotional trailers recently released courtesy of the official ABC V Series web site for your edification and pleasure. For those of our own human “Visitors” who may be geo-locked  and cannot view the promotional trailers at this time, we include several “Red Rain” images below with our analysis. For Canadian viewers V returns on January 06, 2011 on the Space Channel!

After viewing the evil Anna portrayed by Morena Baccarin in “Red Rain” multiple times, and looking at the podcast and promotional trailer, this reviewer is most impressed with the quality of the work that has gone into the publicity efforts in specific and the production of V season two in general. The attention to special effect detail is superb. Particularly the level of excellence and effort that has gone into giving the viewers a look at the reptilian nature of the Visitors themselves. The visuals are outstanding!

Anna "what we are beneath" in Red Rain!

Yes, that is correct my friends, we will all get to see the Visitors as they really are including the infant child of Visitor Ryan Nichols (Morris Chesnut) a Visitor hybrid born on the New York mother ship. Sadly the mother of the little reptile, Valerie Stevens (Lourdes Benedicto) passed away during childbirth. You can rest assured that our darling, or should I say dastardly evil Anna Visitor (Morena Baccarin) will most likely and tragically become the lovely little lizards step mother after she captures Ryan when he attempts to see his “child”!

Anna captures Ryan in Red Rain!

We cannot say more at this time, but when you find out what evil Queen Anna has in mind for the little tyke, even the hardest hearts amongst us will melt. I can say this though, mothers and fathers like Ryan Nichols of the world must unite to fight against the most wickedly evil step mom ever, Anna Visitor!

Lovely Little Lizard trapped by Anna in Red Rain!

Ryan returns from mother ship in Red Rain!

Ryan gets a hug from Erica in Red Rain!
Speaking of Morena Baccarin, we are all in for a several mind blowing sequences as this extremely gifted actress takes the meaning of evil to a new  definition. The heights or should I say the depths of depravity this outstanding actress delivers during “Red Rain” should convince everyone of her well deserved “bad girl” reputation. Ms. Baccarin first earned such praise in Stargate SG-1 as the Ori Queen Adria and as Inara in FireFly and Serenity. Her praise is especially true of the scenes in “Red Rain” when Anna Visitor displays her tail (and for you dirty minded peeps, I am talking about her appendage, a reptile tail)!

Anna uses her tail in Red Rain!

Anna's extra appendage displayed in Red Rain!

Annas fine piece of tail used again in Red Rain!

Anna gets bloody in Red Rain!
During “Red Rain” we will be treated to further evidence that Morena Baccarin is absolutely one of the greatest bad girl actresses in history. Not only does she command the respect she deserves, you will see that she uses those Visitor view screens for a special type of monitoring on the Queen in waiting Lisa Visitor portrayed by the lovely and talented Laura Vandervoort. Suffice it to say the scenes are scintillating as you will observe for yourselves. Can anyone say bikini clad babe baring almost all ? We are sure that you will enjoy the viewing as much as Tyler Evans (Logan Huffman) and Queen Anna Visitor herself does (pictures omitted as too spoilery, watch and find out LIVE… BUT we will include the images after air time)!

Laura Vandervoort as Lisa in Red Rain!

Logan Huffman as Tyler Evans in Red Rain!
Elizabeth Mitchell as Erica Evans continues her dual role as FBI protector and member of the resistance. In Red Sky, she, with a bit of help from Visitor Joshua (Mark Hildreth) apparently and gleefully destroyed the army of Visitor soldiers about to hatch in Anna’s not so secret chamber of little horrors.

V Series Red Sky Chamer of horrors explodes!

In the opening sequences as depicted in the promotional trailer, we observe poor Erica awakening from the effects of the Red Rain after she and the entire planet were knocked out by the wicked Anna Visitor. Erica Evans plays a crucial role in “Red Rain” and throughout season two of V Series.

Since we are on the subject of Queens, we originally heard chatter about Jane Badler returning to the V franchise at Comic-Con 2010 in San Diego. This news was confirmed at the New York Comic-Con in late 2010. We here at WormholeRiders News Agency were most fortunate to be granted an exclusive interview with Ms. Jane Badler shortly after the festivities at New York Comic-Con (pictured below, image courtesy Warner Brothers) in which Ms. Badler shared several revealing moments about her role as “Diana” in the new V Series.

Jane Badler of original V & V Series at NYCC 2010

As revealed in the promotional video displayed at New York Comic-Con, it is no spoiler to say that Jane Badler is the “Queen Mother” of the evil Anna Visitor. The sequence when Ms. Badler makes her appearance is wonderful for fans of the original V and is preceded by a special effect very reminiscent of a Stargate SG-1 visual effect which is executed extremely well in V Series. The moment when Anna greets her mother is a direct take off from a classic line by Morena Baccarin as Adria when she said to Vala (Claudia Black) “Hello Mother”!

Jane Badler returns as Diana in V Series Red Rain

Jane Badler as Anna's mother in Red Rain
Jane Badler is scheduled to appear in three of the first ten episodes in 2011 and we are hopeful the series will be funded for the back half of the season two. Much will depend on the support from the fandom and viewership in the ratings.

Editors Note: We ask only one thing, watch the first ten episodes of V Series LIVE and please do not illegally download or view the series on illegal streaming web sites if you desire more V. We ask this because several series have been canceled in part when tens of millions of viewers in the United States alone chose to not support the series they say they love. If you love science fiction television, just say no to illegal downloading. Thank you.

As “Red Rain” opens it is no surprise or spoiler to indicate that evil Anna is up to no good. In fact Morena Baccarin looks simply stunning as Anna Visitor plans to enslave the planet Earth! With a fleet of mother ships cloaked in orbit above our vulnerable third rock from the sun she may well accomplish her task. When we left season one in Red Sky, it was fairly obvious that something, some plot of great value to the Visitors is unfolding with certain malicious intent as revealed to Marcus Visitor (Christopher Shyer) by the evil leader of the race of alien reptiles, Anna Visitor!

Anna says to Marcus eliminate him in Red Rain!
We see Chad Decker (Scott Wolf) and the entire populace of Earth shocked by the clouds turned red across the entire globe! In the past before Red Rain Anna and Marcus observed the dubious nature of Mr. Decker. In Red Sky, Chad has finally seen for himself that the Visitor Centers are a testing ground for obtaining human subjects that are tortured aboard the Visitor mother ships. Has Chad been turned by Anna? Is he a traitor to humanity by being Anna’s mouth piece? Or is there some good in this character and will he join the fifth column?

V Series Anna and Marcus Watch Chad Decker

Annas handiwork in releasing Red Sky

Chad Decker shocked by Red Sky!
Scott Wolf is a very talented actor and his work on the series only gets better in V Series season two, episode one “Red Rain”, “Serpent’s Tooth” (episode two) and beyond. To find out the answers to the questions above, you will need to make that judgment yourselves by watching season two of V Series. You may be surprised what Mr. Decker has in store for the evil Anna Visitor, Queen of the reptiles!

Chad Decker with a different tone from Red Rain

There are commander questions in Red Rain!

Rioting in the streets during Red Rain!
Other returning lead performances and fine efforts include those by Charles Mesure (Kyle Hobbes), Joel Gretsch (Father Jack Landry), Rehka Sharma (Agent Malik) Roark Critchlow (Paul Kendrick), and Scott Hylands (Father Travis). Each of these fine actors delivers powerful portrayals that lend heavily to the realism and believability of “Red Rain”.

Charles Mesure as Kyle Hobbes from Red Rain

Joel Gretsch as Father Jack from Red Rain

Rehka Sharma as Malik from Red Rain

Scott Hylands as Father Travis from Red Rain
Before concluding we would also like mention a new addition to the first two episodes in the character of Dr. Sidney Miller portrayed by actor Bret Harrison. This character is vital to understanding what the Visitors are and how long they have actually been on Earth. During his introduction to the story line, the visual effects genius’ of V Series bring back a sequence not unlike what happens to the dying aliens in The Invaders circa 1967-1968!

Bret Harrison as Dr. Sidney Miller in Red Rain

Visitor burns up execllent VFX sequence in Red Rain

Tied indirectly to a scene in the second episode “Serpent’s Tooth”, the answer to why the Visitors came to Earth (and when) will be revealed. The answer is linked to a bit of V Series history discussed by Jane Badler and we think you will find the answer quite interesting.

Jane Badler as Diana in Serpents Tooth!

Lastly, I could not conclude this pre-review without mentioning the great music score by Marco Beltrami under the superb direction of Brian Spicer with fantastic visual effects leadership by Laura Jones. When coupled with the expert editing of Geofrey Hildrew, V Series season 2 is simply an outstanding production. Great job V Series Team! Bravo!

V Series mother ships in Red Rain!

V Series returns January 04 2011 in Red Rain!

  • V Series: “Fruition” Review and Analysis

Hello V Series fans,Click to visit V Series on ABC!

Welcome back to our ongoing reviews of V series, episode “Fruition”. If you have not seen “Fruition”, this is a full review with analysis and you are advised to stop reading now. Thank you.

Click to visit Warner Brothers Entertainment

Previously on V: Kyle Hobbes is framed by the Dastardly Marcus, for the destruction of the Lyndhurst company warehouse.Lisa and Tyler sneak off in a Visitor shuttle, and consummate their relationship… She fails the emotion test that Anna had every Visitor take, and Joshua covers it up. Anna offers the world “Blue Energy”, the power source of all Visitor technology.

Lisa breaks up with Tyler as she find out that Anna has plans for Tyler that she is not happy about… She tells Anna she failed, so Anna decides that there is only one way to get Tyler back… A man likes nothing more then a damsel in distress… She brutally smacks Lisa and orders her legs broken (By none other then Herb Sommerfeld)

Click to visit V Series on ABC!

We begin Fruition with a Tramp stumbling upon someone in a Peace Ambassadors uniform, badly beaten, we know this is Lisa… I was and was not shocked at the same time that Anna did this to her own daughter. On one hand I was thinking ‘How could she do that to her daughter?’ And the shock on Lisa’s face when her mother did this… on the other hand, Anna ‘is’ a heartless, emotionless Lizard and I would put nothing past her.

Click to visit V Series on ABC!

Agent Malik How right was I when I called her as A Visitor infiltrator? Erica Evans enter the Visitor Healing Centre where they need to investigate the ‘Female Visitor’ who was attacked. Imagine Erica’s shock when she sees Lisa, she tells Malik that she knows her, that she is her son’s girlfriend, and it is a shock to her that she is a Visitor. Erica immediately goes into Motherly mode, to me this seems not intentional, but natural. She covers Lisa with a blanket, and tries to comfort her.

Click to visit V Series on ABC!

Erica asks Lisa is she recognises the Men who attacked her, Lisa has a flash back of her Mother assaulting her and replies “No” but you can see the conflict in her eyes. Erica tells her everything will be all-right, and hugs her. Lisa reacts to this as if she is thinking, ‘wow this is how a mother should be’.

Click to visit V Series on ABC!

Up on the Mothership Anna tells Joshua and Marcus that she needs to visit the healing centre, as her Daughter needs her Mother. Marcus informs Anna that they still have not healed Lisa’s injuries, Joshua says that he will heal her when they arrive. But Anna says No. He is to heal her legs but leave the bruises and gash on her face until she returns to the Mothership. She wants this to be seen. For the general population to be shocked that Lisa was attacked. “I want the whole world to see what the fifth column has done to my Daughter” She says.

Kyle Hobbes is in the basement of St Josephine’s church, where he sees on the news that he has been yet again framed by the visitors for something he has not done.

Now we are at Chad Decker’s office area at the ‘news studio’ someone comes over and turns on ‘his’ television and asks if he’s seen the latest news yet… It is being reported about Lisa’s attack and Anna is going to address the world about the said attack later today. Chad confesses that he knows nothing about this, he looks upset. “I thought you were the Voice of the V’s. What happened? Did Anna fire you?” *Wow I loved that line!

At St Josephine’s Church Jack is very concerned as the Church is full of people praying for the ‘attacked visitor’s sole’. He wishes they would spend more time praying for themselves.

Back at the Healing centre, Erica is with Lisa. *My eagle eyes noticed that Erica was holding Lisa’s hand*, as she was stroking her hair. It seems that she genuinely feels something for Lisa here*

Malik, the Visitor sleeper agent within the FBI comes into Lisa’s room with mug shots based on Lisa’s description, one of them is Hobbes. The other is non other then Stargate Atlantis Favourite Paul McGillion. Erica gently wakes Lisa, and shows her the pictures. Lisa positively identifies them as her attackers. Though it is obvious that she is lying. When Malik attracts Erica’s attention because Anna has arrived Also noted here that Lisa looked terrified at the sight of Anna.

Erica is I think a little unnerved, seeing Anna up-close and personal. And then Lisa says “Mother”… Oh my, the shock on Erica’s face is unbelievable… Her son has been dating the Queen Lizard’s Daughter?

Morena was outstanding at portraying Anna being emotional. “Lisa? What have they done to my Daughter?” And it really does look like she was about to shed a tear or two.

“Sweetheart, you’re going to be ok. You are safe now” She says, then hugs Lisa. *I noted here that Lisa, though she hugged Anna back, looked very awkward and uncomfortable, mirror image to how she has embraced Erica beforehand* Anna smirks that ‘evil grin’ we have come to know as ‘I am up to something EVIL here’.

Anna and Erica are in a room within the healing centre, Anna is looking through the photographs of Lisa’s injuries, nicely playing at having emotional responses. Again looking close to tears. She is saying how she can not understand how anyone would want to cause so much pain or suffering. “There are some twisted people in our world” Erica tells Anna “Fortunately the majority of Humans are kind, good hearted.”

Anna explained that ‘this’ (As in the apparent fifth column ‘attack’ on Lisa) is the reason why she had kept Lisa’s identity a secrete. She tells Erica that Lisa was on the way to see Tyler when it happened. And asked if he knew. Erica responded with a ‘yes’, and ‘he’s deviated’. *Erica is NOT believing Anna’s displays of emotion, she knows better with her dealings with Ryan* Anna tells Erica that Lisa has “…Grown very fond of him…” And that he was lucky not to have been with her when it happened.

“As a Mother I am sure you can imagine how I feel right now” Anna emotionally says “As a Mother I know that if anyone tried to hurt my son, there’s nothing I wouldn’t do to stop them” Erica threatens Anna with out Anna becoming aware that Erica knows anything. Erica is heading up the FBI investigation into Lisa’s attack, she shows everyone mug shots of the men identified by Lisa, Lawrence Parker and Kyle Hobbes.

Paul McGillion as Parker with Charles Mesure as Hobbes

Erica manages to convince her boss to look for Parker. Tyler comes into Erica’s workplace to find out about Lisa. She Takes him to see her. Joshua is working on her injuries when they arrive. *Insert Erica, Tyler, Joshua and Lisa* As Tyler and Lisa talk, Joshua and Erica stand outside the room, he tells her that they have spoken on the comms devise. She immediately recognises him as Joshua. Joshua confirms what she knew was fact, that the two men Lisa identified are innocent. “Anna did this to her” He explains, The shock/repulsion on Erica’s face is evident.

Joshua obviously does not know why, but instructs Erica to find the Men so she can find out why. Lisa then tells Tyler, that she did not mean the things she has said, she really does want to see him. She proclaims that she was frightened as she has never felt like this about anyone before. He admits to the same.

Erica asks Joshua is Tyler is in danger, because her son is in love with Anna’s daughter. He explained that Tyler was just an assignment for Lisa in the beginning, but he now believes that her feelings for Tyler are real. And he does not think that she would hurt him.

Anna enters the room as Lisa is hugging Tyler and announces “Lisa it is time” She then puts Lisa’s shoes on. I noted how awkwardly this was done by Anna, as if she had never done this before, unless it was a wardrobe malfunction and the shoe was just a pain to get on and I am reading wrongly into it.

Please note in the image below that Lisa looks genuinely frightened. You can bet that Erica had picked up on that!

Anna is going to make a statement about the ‘incident’ to a live press. Chad Decker was there he asks Marcus why he had not been called upon, Marcus tells him Anna has been busy with the attack on one of their own. And that they have things under control. Once outside Anna turns to Lisa and instructs her not to look at any of the camera to make eye contact with anyone. Lisa asked why, Anna replies “The less you give them the more they want”.

Chad is like a little lost puppy *I agree on that point* Calling out for Anna’s attention, she ignores him, even Marcus asks why they have cut off Decker, Anna simply tells him that he will be brought back into this when the time was right. Anna approaches the podium, V security behind her.

“I come to you today with a heavy heart, A terrible hate crime has been commented against one of my people.  Members of a terrorist group-the fifth column has brutally assaulted a member of my family, My own daughter Lisa…”
With that Lisa is brought up to stand with Anna.

“Despite our best efforts to demonstrate our care and concern for the Human race to improve life on this planet; to share our resources and technology, asking nothing in return, There are those among you who wish to harm us. In the wake of yesterdays shuttle disaster and this brutal attack on my daughter… My People no longer feel safe here. I’ve come to a  decision. We are leaving”.

The crowd is in a state of shock and sighs/intakes of breath in complete horror at the mere thought of Anna leaving, Anna and the others make their way out of the crowd, Anna with a smirk on hr face. *I thought the wonderfully dramatic yet subtle music really added to the mood of despair that the crowd were feeling, Now everyone in the small New York resistance/fifth column coalition consisting of Erica, Jack, Hobbes and Ryan are meeting in St Josephine’s basement.

A very deflated Ryan makes the point that Anna is lying that she will never leave. As Hobbes rightly points out, it is all a show, the shuttle explosion, the Quote Hobbes: “The boohoo, the attack on the princess…” Erica tells everyone that they need to find out what the Visitors want Hobbes and Parker for. And she informs them that she had met with Joshua and he had told her that Anna had attacked Lisa, caused the wounds and broke her legs. Jack is shocked, and asks “How could she do that to her own daughter?”

Ryan answers that “Because she is not Human, she is a Visitor there is nothing that she wont do to get what she wants” Erica points out that what ever Parker is doing is important enough to Anna that she would hurt Lisa, her own flesh and blood *Or should that be scales and blood?* to get our attention and turn our sympathies towards them, as if they are the victims. It is decided that they look for Parker and try to get to him before the FBI find him.

Hobbes has a “nameless” contact who meets with him, he says that he was hired to Kill Parker four weeks ago, but the person who hired him did not pass his “Smell test” Everything about him was fake. His contact said that she found then same, but was more lucky on Parker, she has a location for him. He thinks that Parker must have something that ‘they’ want, and it was because if this that Anna was blaming Hobbes and Parker on the assault of her daughter. Hobbes breaks into Parker’s apartment, he calls Erica, and tells her the address. Parker is not there as they talked.

I just noticed in this picture how much the inside of the Mothership reminds me of the biomes At The Eden Project an amazing place, where in the ‘Bio Domes’ they have in one a Real Rainforest and the other the Mediterranean. This is just two parts of  The Eden Project, so please click the image link below to learn more about this amazing place that I love!

“I’m sorry Chad” Marcus starts to talk to Chad in an almost sarcastic tone “But dealing with the attack of her Daughter, and coordination the withdrawal from your planet has left her with time for little else” Chad tells Marcus that he does not believe that they are going to simply leave. So Marcus tells him that they really have no choice as the Fifth Column has become a big threat. Chad thinks he can help. *I am impressed with this man’s complete over-self belief in himself. He really does think  a lot of himself which is a credit to the Acting abilities of Scott Wolf*

“You’re underestimating ‘my’ influence Marucs” Chad says that he can reach out to the people of earth, to out pressure in the respective governments to ‘make’ them ‘go after’ the Fifth Column to keep the Visitors here on Earth. Chad Decker ‘needs’ them here, as before the Visitors arrived and Anna had him interview her, he was and would go back to being a ‘nobody’ if the Visitors are to really leave.

Marcus then goes strait to Anna and tells her that it is how she has foreseen, Decker is worried about them leaving.
“Good. I need him to be desperate to be convincing” She coldly states. Marcus states that Decker has always done as she has asked, so he is wondering why they have cut him off right at this point.

Anna explains that if Decker is desperate, and concerned that they are really leaving, he will make a passionate plea to the world. That in turn will cause a public outcry and “We will get what we want”… Anna orders that the Captain of the  Shanghai Mothership to leave. Immediately. We then cut to Shanghai and see the Mothership leave, to the despair of a young boy. The visual effects of the Motherships are unbelievably detailed, and really look the part. I really love the almost reptilian design of the Ships, looking very cobra-like. It really is a genius touch!

Chad Decker is now reporting on his new look ‘Special Commentary’ show. He makes an emotional plea to his listeners. “Just minutes ago, the first ship left from Shanghai in China, the first in Anna’s week long planned withdrawal and shutdown of all Sending waves of protest and outcry across the world…”

“…London, Moscow, Rio. People everywhere reacting to the fact that when ‘they’ leave the Visitors will take with them their gifts to Humanity. It is my job to report the news objectively, However today I can’t sit back and pretend that I don’t have an onion. Because I do!

“The V’s saved my life. We ‘the people’ must fix this. If you care about your future, the health of your children, the world made safe and peaceful by their technology now ids the time. Let your voice be heard. Show the world how much Anna means to you! Show our elected officials that you want Anna and the Visitors to stay” Anna seems pleased with Chad’s ‘emotional plea’ to the world as she watches his show on the Mothership. Anna is So sinister and manipulative, and will use Chad Decker to get the things that she wants.

Jack and Ryan are in a car stake out of Parker’s home, Jack decides to talk to Ryan as he has been so deflated since Val left.
Ryan tells Jack that John May had told him that Human emotion was worth righting for, but he does not think that anymore. He say’s that Val has changed him, and allowed him to see the beauty in Humanity the Love he had for Val was his way of fighting Anna’s bliss. But without her he is worried that he will fall under the influence  of the Bliss once more.
Jack says “With Faith we can, and with Faith we do”

Erica gets into the car briefly, as they see Parker entering his building. Erica states that she will go in and check it out, and orders Ryan and Jack to cover front and back.

She knocks on his door, and he lets her in. He is adamant that whatever the Visitors said he has done he has not done it. *Which we all obviously know* Erica says that she believes him, but wants to know why he is on the run. Parker says that it is because someone had found him, and had broken in and stolen all his research. I Love Paul! He is such an amazing actor. When Munchkin saw this episode she yelped “Oh My God it’s Carson Beckett!” It does seem strange hearing him with out his Scottish accent that I LOVE.

It is discovered that him and his colleagues were working on something to cut down on carbon emissions, but the bad side effects were it created algae, that caused problems with Marine life, causing a virus on the skin of fish, amphibians… Erica asks it… “What about Lizards?” Parker thinks possibly.

Erica asks him if the virus was deadly. Parker said yes potentially that is why they stopped. Erica asks him about the research, and if he has the formula of the compound. But he said he only worked on one part of the research, and who ever took his hard drive has it now.

Jack calls Erica, tells her to get out of there as the FBI was crawling all over the place. Erica tells Jack and Ryan to get out of there, and asks Parker to write down all the names of the ‘think tank’ she pockets a sample of the Algae. She takes the list of names and tells Parker she will do everything in her power to help him,, she tackles him to the floor as if to arrest him just in time for the FBI (Yes Malik) storms in. Paul Erica’s boss congratulates her, where Malik looks suspicious. Parker is formally arrested for the “Attempted murder of the Visitor known as Lisa” And is taken away.

Back in the FBI head quarters, Erica’s Boss proclaims that he has spoken with Washington. The Visitor are not going anywhere, the Government offered help in finding Fifth Column, the Visitors will continue to share their technology with us, in return the FBI will share their Intel of terrorists with the Visitors. Erica says that she doesn’t think its such a great idea. But they seem to have no choice. Even Malik pretends to be shocked.

The FBI are to form a Joint Taskforce with the Visitors to eradicate the Fifth Column. And part of that deal, all suspects will be handed to the Visitors for questioning, starting with Parker.  Ohhh no. Anna has started to get her own way now. Her plans are beginning to take hold

Erica on a conference call with the others tell them that everyone within Parkers think tank were reported missing, so this means Anna had got to them already, and Parker was the missing link. Erica says she will try to get through to Lisa. To try to save Parker. Jack asks if that’s a good idea. Erica says “If she’s going use my son, I’m sure as hell gonna use her daughter” She hangs up as Anna, Lisa and the entourage have arrived for the line up.

Erica asks to take Lisa to one side to talk her through what is about to happen, She gives her a photograph of Tyler, and says to her “Holding on to something that makes you feel safe gives you strength” She tells Lisa that the fate of that Man’s life and so much more depended on her telling the truth about her attacker.

She looks at be about to tell Erica the truth when Anna, obviously cottoning on that something was off, enters Erica’s office. In the Line up, Anna, I think sensing Lisa’s uncertainty steps up to her, and outs her hand on her shoulder, and to an outsider would look like she was being Motherly, showing support what she said “I’m here” It was more of a warning I am here, not do as you were instructed.

Lisa looks to Erica, then back to her Mother, and knows what she must do. She points to Parker. Erica asks if she is sure. Lisa says she is positive. Anna smirks at Erica.

Outside, Anna approaches Erica with Lisa, and tells her how much she appreciates her for helping bring her daughters attacker to justice. We see Parker being dragged off by Visitor security. Anna tells Erica that they intend to question him about his associates, and hopefully lead to other Fifth Column and Kyle Hobbes. Erica cleverly tells Anna “I want you to know that I’m going to make stopping the fifth column my top priority” So Anna replies: “Then I’m sure we’ll cross paths again soon” With an eerie smile. Erica replies with an unofficial threat “I’m not going anywhere Anna”

We now back with Hobbes in St Josephine’s basement. He is looking at the contains of Parker’s hard drive. He then calls someone, and says that he has what they are really looking for… “I’ve got Parker’s research, question is how much is it worth to you?” *Now, I have had my doubts about the Hobbenator (The nick name that I have come up with for Kyle Hobbes) From the first episode he was in (Welcome to the war), This really had me thinking, ‘Ah! I knew it…’

Up on the Mothership, Chad is waiting for Anna, she arrives, he is all smiles, and mentions that he has been trying to contact her all day, She said “I’ve had other things on my mind besides Chad Decker”. Giggle, I liked that line! She thanked him for his plea, and that it was through his help that they are staying. Chad finally sees that Anna has been manipulating him, that she shut him out of purpose, so that he would get frantic and make that public plea. Anna states that the only interest she has is her People’s safety.

Anna demands that he gives her the name of his source, the contact, who gave him information about the Fifth Column.  But once again he says no. But how long will that last? I am under the impression that when Chad had this ‘brain surgery’ he had his thinking modified or a “mild conversion”.  There is a little back and forth between Hobbes and Ryan, Hobbes accuses Ryan of not being on his game, and that he should out everything behind him so that Anna has nothing over him.

Back up to the Mothership, Anna is in the “Hatchery” with Lisa, We see the Eggs she had laid, are huge and squirming, *Lots of sound squishy (so Munchkin described it) sound effects. They really did sound disgusting, like there were Lizards ready to burst out of them* “The eggs are about to hatch” Anna says with s very big smirk.

Anna tells Lisa that Tyler’s Mother is their most important asset, as she is the head of the taskforce. Lisa said to Anna, that she will keep her close to her and have her believe that she has ‘real’ feelings fir her, like her son.

Lisa goes to Joshua, and questions him If her Mother’s eggs are aloud to hatch the soldiers will destroy the Fifth Column. Lisa is fully aware of her emotions, her feelings for Tyler and his Mother ‘are’ real. And she does not want the Fifth Column destroyed, She knows now for sure that her Mother is evil. Erica would not have done such a thing to Tyler to achieve her goals. Erica comes home to Tyler, he calls her a Hero. And hugs her, like everything was back to normal. You can see she is torn. She wants to tell Tyler the truth, but timing is everything. If she acts too quickly Tyler will run into the arms of her nemesis Anna.

Tyler asks her if she is ok with him dating a Visitor, she admits that it it weird but the will get over it. And then takes a different tactic. She tells him that she wants to get to know Lisa and Anna better. This I am sure is so she can get access to the Mothership, they have been trying for weeks now to destroy the Eggs on the ship. What a better way to get up to the ship in the pretence of friendship…

Marcus comes to Anna to announce that the Fleet she had sent for would be entering the solar system soon. And will be shortly in ‘Human Radar’ range. She said that they will use their technology to render our technology useless. “They will see what we want them to see nothing more” She says. Marcus then tells her that the fear of the Fifth Column is spreading through all the ships. So Anna tells him “They just need their queen to assuage their fears” She then enters the ‘Bliss chamber’ to brain wash her people.

Anna starts her Bliss speech. “Take comfort in knowing that I am here. There is nothing to fear. We will remain among Humans, but the Fifth Column will never harm you…” Lisa and Joshua look to each other and smile, they are immune to Anna’s Bliss. I almost expected them to hold hands there awe! But Ryan on earth seems to be affected by it and misses a text message from Leah saying that Val’s waters just broke.

On earth a car pulls up in a side street. Hobbes appears from the shadows. The window reels down, it is Marcus…

Marcus asks him what is to stop him from killing Hobbes. “Because I’ve got Parker’s research, and you wouldn’t be here if that didn’t scare the hell outta you” They come to an agreement, Marcus gets the research, Hobbes gets his slate wiped clean and lots of money. To me is seemed that Hobbes knows Marcus. And I have even gone as far as to call that Hobbes might actually be a rogue Visitor, neither with or against Anna.

WormholeRiders. Click to visit & follow WHR on Twitter! And another crack-pot theory?? Yes? Ok. We have said before that maybe Lisa is John May’s child, but I have changed my mind after seeing this episode. I think Marcus is her Father… He is always seeming to be there. Always so loyal… And seemed genuinely concerned for Lisa.

And I am wondering if Anna kept him in the Dark about Lisa’s assault being in house. Ok, we might be totally wrong here.

And if I am, I will gladly admit I am wrong, but I did call Malik right! Thank you for visiting WormholeRiders News Agency and reading. Click to visit and follow WR_Systems (Kenn) on Twitter!

  • V Series Renewed For Season Two With News About Something Special!

    Hello fellow V fans!

After a lot of wondering, and waiting, I can confirm that V has been picked up for season two! Every week when the episode finishes, my initial thought always is: “Is that it?” I always want more, so the renewal confirmation is fantastic news for me!

Click to visit Warner Brothers Studios!WormholeRiders had been informed off the record as far back as WonderCon that V would be renewed because of the investment in the series, but many nay saying critics had their own ideas. We are pleased they have been proven wrong and being the professionals that we are, we held back on announcing this news story prematurely.

I informed several members of WHR about the pending renewal after I heard about a movement to “Save V” that broke out on Facebook. He said to not get involved. This original DM tweet to my attention “that the Save V Campaign was off base” is dated April 24, 2010. Both he and I still have this as evidence. We waited patiently until the news had been confirmed by several of our official sources elsewhere before publishing this news story and then tweeting about this news story ourselves. Patience is after all a virtue, with the exception of course being Anna Visitor!

It was first leaked by Entertainment Weekly after a tweet by Scott Rosenbaum on Twitter at 11:23 PM May 13, 2010 in the United States, 7:23 AM United Kingdom time were I am located. However earlier that evening at least two news sites were claiming that V was about to be canceled. Kenn did not agree with them knowing the news was to be announced imminently.

It was just before 6:00 PM when he tried to discuss the subject in a chat room that Chuck was also renewed as announced the previous week by the executive producer. Then he was jumped on by a person about Chuck, so he decided to not argue about V or Chuck facts that he knew were correct and that the others were wrong about. A wise move on his part not to argue.

We conducted a conference call to discuss when to publish this story and decided to do so as soon as two other sources involved with V production could be consulted, which they have been.

We held this story until we had official confirmation not only from Mr. Rosenbaum of Warner Brothers, but after consultation with original V series producer Kenneth Johnson and one other source in the industry that must remain confidential at this time.

So while this may seem like news 36 hours since we began consultation, it is now official news confirmed by three non media entertainment industry sources. We can share you this though from our “off the record” source, more V of a very special nature is coming and we will report on it soon. Just remember that you heard it here first.

Now as to kudos for V Series. The cast and crew are absolutely amazing! Producers/Writers Scott Peters, Scott Rosenbaum and Gregg Hurwitz have with their team of writers brought us amazing episodes/story lines.

And the Casting, is just amazing with every review how amazing everyone is, but WHR will say it again!

    Anna

I love how Morena plays Anna. You see Anna is such a potentially evil character, but Morena is playing her subtly not using her power full tilt. She introduces herself as the leader of the Visitors, but as the season went on we discovered she is the Queen… And gave Birth to an army… (Well Anna laid one thousand Eggs). She is a mother, Lisa is her Daughter and heir to the throne. But as we see she will do anything to attain her plans even assault her own daughter.

The pleasantly delicate and understated almost reptilian head movements and rapid blinking was a genius touch by Morena! She was perfect for Anna, beautiful, clever and talented! And there are so many fans from Stargate SG-1 and Firefly that were ecstatic to see her back in an amazing Sci-fi show as the Leader of the Visitors!

    Erica Evans

Elizabeth Mitchell plays firstly and primarily a Mother. She wants to protect her son who has unwittingly got far too involved with the Visitors. Again perfect casting, And Fans of Lost are very happy to see her as the Leader of the resistance/fifth column. She is an FBI agent, part of the counter terrorism department which is perfect cover for her true intentions.

She finds out quickly that her partner is a Visitor and that the Visitors are hiding a very big secret… they are reptiles! Elizabeth is so believable, I know as a Mother myself that I would be doing what she is, trying to keep her son safe, and she is trying to save Humanity at the same time. Mother’s everywhere can connect with Erica Evans.

    Georgie Sutton

David played Georgie Sutton, he was the original leader of the human resistance. He was simply amazing. My daughter adores him, and still cries (real tears) when she thinks of Georgie dying. I loved how Georgie was just a normal man, he was just trying to fight as best he could. His family was slaughtered by the Visitors and he wanted revenge plane and simple. David is such a talented Actor, the final Georgie scenes he played out were fantastic, he pulled on the heart strings over every viewer.

    Father Jack Landry

Joel plays Father Jack Landry, a Roman Catholic priest, who starts to question his faith when the Visitors arrive. We learn that he was an Army Chaplin. He ends up attending a meeting with Georgie and Erica when he comes into procession of some photographs showing under cover Visitors posing as Human terrorists.

Joel is brilliant, he makes Jack believable and lovable. And I can tell you that from all the Fans on Twitter, a lot of people are ‘shipping’ Jack and Erica. (That is wanting two characters from the show to become more then just friends). Evans_Erica is one of the ships! Joel was of course in two other fantastic Sci-Fi shows, The 4400 and Taken. (Loves both).

    Chad Decker

Scott is Chad Decker, a almost self obsessed journalist, who believes that he should ‘be’ the news not just reading it. And he gets that wish once Anna and her mob show up in twenty-nine ships over every major City in the world. Chad is really a piece of work, you can not tell is he is against Anna or working for her. Twice he has refrained from giving Anna Jack’s name. But he did tip her off about the shuttle. He seems torn… perhaps.

Scott is doing an Amazing job portraying Chad Decker. He has this balance with they way he plays the different sides of Chad. Showing Anna that she can not play him, though she always does, even know he thinks he has an upper hand. I am going to hold out hope that Chad will see the light and come over to the light side *smile*

    Ryan Nichols

Morris Chestnut portrays Ryan, A Visitor who was sent by Anna to kill John May, and succeeded. John May is dead (Or so it seems). Ryan was once an emotionless Lizard, but now has fallen in love with a Human woman, Valarie and feels emotions… (Something that Anna does not permit) Valarie (Played by the wonderful Lourdes Benedicto) is pregnant with Ryan’s Child, a V/Human Hybrid. With the Help of Dr Leah Pearlman (the delightful Lexi Doig SG-1, Andromeda) Ryan discovers that R6 bonds with Human cells to give out a signal of sorts so Humans are traceable.

Ryan is very interesting character, and Morris does an amazing job at portraying him. Ryan seems almost overly emotional and angers easily.  Though My daughter has a theory that “Ryan is a bad lizard” she does not trust him. She said that she thinks: “Anna will get him back on the Bliss”.

    Marcus

Marcus is played by Christopher Shyer, wow, he is amazing. He plays this emotionless Lizard so well. He uses slight Lizard-like head movements, and talks in a monotone. He is completely believable that he is really a Lizard. *That is a compliment*

Marcus is Anna’s second in command. She has him running around on her every whim. Like finding a plant for the R6 warehouse explosion for example. Where Marcus planted evidence to frame Kyle Hobbes…

There are little things here and there that make me think that Marcus is beginning to question Anna’s orders. When his aide Steven failed the test by a narrow margin and Anna had him take a suicide pill, me had this ’look’ about him, and said that many lives would be lost in the process. Not the sort of thing an Emotionless minion should be concerned about. Also, when did Marcus learn to drive?

    Lisa

Laura Vandervroot is Lisa, she is simply wonderful. (My daughter Loves Laura! And for the record she is such a lovely young woman who made my little girls day!) Lisa is set ‘Tyler as her assignment, we are still not one hundred persent clear what importance Tyler has, but I am sure all will be revealed. Lisa starts to have real ‘feelings’ for Tyler. She fails Anna’s test, something which Joshua Anna’s chief medic (Fantastically portrayed by: Mark Hildreth) covers up. Lisa has become immune to Anna’s Bliss, and as my daughter called from episode one, we believe that she will turn out to be a “Good Lizard”.

    Kyle Hobbes

Kyle was introduced in welcome to the war. Played by Charles Measure. He is really managing to play his character in such a way that we are not quite sure what way he is going to go. Some theories are going around is that he is in fact a rogue Visitor. Which could be interesting!

Charles Measure is really talented. And is really well cast as the character Hobbes.

    Tyler Evans

Tyler Evans is played by Logan Huffman, this young man is a fantastic actor. He is playing a young lad, who is falling in love for the first time, only thing is that Lisa is an alien. Tyler is completely obsessed with the Visitors, despite his Mothers wishes for him not to get involved.

There are many theories flying around about Tyler, I have even jokingly called that John May is his father. It will be interesting to find out what is so special about Tyler. It is obvious that he would do anything for Lisa, so will he follow her if she joins the Fifth Column against Anna?

This next (Last in this season) Will certain be interesting. So many things to address. Anna and Erica, face off? Tyler and Erica are invited to dinner… *As dinner, this remains to be seen ;)* And the Eggs will they hatch? The fleet is on the way, soon to reach earth. I really can not wait to see this next episode and the new season!

    In the mean time…

  • V Series “Hearts and Minds” – Preview Analysis

Hey V Series Fans,Click to visit V Series on ABC!

Well after Click to visit Warner Brothers Television!some horrific events including the death of our beloved Georgie played by David Richmond-Peck, with Chad Decker as he struggles to comprehend the beautifully twisted Anna portrayed by the lovely Morena Baccarin and Laura VanDervoort deals with her emotions, much more is about to be revealed!

Of course we all MUST run in terror from the coming army of Anna Visitor. We can only say that this Tuesday evenings “Hearts and Minds” episode will mark a potential for a counterstrike moment for the V Resistance and the Fifth Column and contain a revelation not to be missed!
V Series Hearts and Minds - New V Logo
The extended promotional trailer I have just reviewed indicates that this may be the first time the Freedom Fighters  on Earth have sufficient advance warning to fight back against the evil Anna and minions including the dastardly Marcus Visitor played by wonderful actor Christopher Shyer. Keep looking to the sky and watch your back!

Click to visit V Series on ABC!

V Series Hearts & Minds - The Resistance!

We will try to avoid direct spoilers, but can say this: The series is following the fine tradition of the original V but with far more attention to detail than the previous incarnation. In “Hearts and Minds”, will Chad Decker continue to be blinded by the V’s and their notorious scheme to enslave us all?  I think not!

V Series Hearts & Minds - What is Chad saying to Father Jack?
With where the new series is going does not mean that the original V by Kenneth Johnson was not deficient. Quite the contrary. The original had a large ensemble cast as does the current version of V. The major difference in my opinion is  that as a episodic variation from its inception, V Series 2009-2010 allows the Single Effect of each episode  to contain a deeper characterization or “look inside” into the creators have in store for us and what the Fifth Column, the Resistance and the evil minions of Anna are up to as the forces of good and evil battle for control of the planet.

V Series Hearts and Minds - Mark Hildreth as Joshua

With the help of Joshua portrayed by Mark Hildreth picture above, the Resistance has more than a fighting chance and with Erica putting on the boxing gloves in “Hearts and Minds” let’s just say it is almost a done deal!

V Series Hearts and Minds - Erica Evans with the gloves on!

As far as WHR and our other V Series reviewers are concerned, this show richly deserves to be renewed for several seasons and perhaps even a big screen theatrical version as well. We fully support the team of very talented people led by several individuals we chat with regularly and hope that such is under consideration. Heck I would even confess the same to Father Jack when given the chance as Chad is doing below.

V Series Hearts & Minds - Scoot Wolf as Chad Decker confessing?

We have included several images from tomorrow nights episode for your enjoyment and what kind of news site ere we not to include a picture of Morena Baccarin as the crafty Queen of the V’s?

Click to visit Warner Brothers Television! In this episode, we continue to follow the stories of Ryan (Morris Chestnut) and his pregnant girlfriend, Valerie (Lourdes Benedicto); the Visitors’ favorite reporter, Chad Decker (Scott Wolf); the sinister plottings of Anna (Morena Baccarin); the growing relationship between Tyler (Logan Huffman) and Lisa (Laura Vandervoort); and Erica’s (Elizabeth Mitchell) struggle to effectively combat the V’s while keeping her son safe.

Last week, Ryan was frantically searching for Valerie after she found his hidden stash of weapons and passports and took off.  With the help of Erica’s FBI access and a cell phone trace, she was found to be at a V healing center.  Ryan was able to get her out of there, but not before the V discovered that she is carrying a human/Visitor hybrid baby (the V doctor didn’t share this information with Val, though).

    Episode Recap/Review:

In this week’s episode, Ryan and Val continue their escape from the V healing center.  Val is understandably confused, angry, and a little freaked out by everything that is happening.  Ryan confesses that he is, in fact, a Visitor.

    V Ep. 109 - Val finds out Ryan is a V

Val gets it right away that his being a Visitor probably means their baby might be a bit unusual.  She wants an explanation—about everything, and right now—but now is not the time.  The V want their baby and they need to get away.

On the New York mother ship, Anna (Morena Baccarin) formally greets the new recruits for the Visitors’ live-aboard program.

    V Ep. 109 - Anna greets live-aboard program participants

V Ep. 109 - Marcus tells Anna about hybrid child

Marcus (Christopher Shyer) interrupts with the information that a human female is pregnant with a hybrid child.  The always-composed Anna shows a rare glimpse of emotion at the news and, once she ditches her guests, instructs Marcus that his top priority is to find and capture the hybrid child’s parents.  She says “I need them alive” (we’ll get back to that line later, so don’t forget).

Back at Ryan and Valerie’s apartment, Ryan wants to grab the essentials and get Val to safety, but she doesn’t trust him and wants to call the police.  While they argue, two guards from the V health center show up but their fighting skills are no match for Ryan, who easily puts them down using the guards’ own blades. Unfortunately, one guard’s face is sliced open during the fight and Val sees the reptile-like skin underneath.  She realizes that Ryan must look like that too and wonders what their baby is going to look like.  All Ryan can say about that is, “Don’t look.”

    V Ep. 109 - Visitor skin revealed

Anna, Marcus, and doctor-on-board-the-mothership and Fifth Columnist Joshua (Mark Hildreth) attend a virtual meeting of the top doctors from all 29 motherships.

    V Ep. 109 - V doctors' meeting

Anna is unhappy that the V doctors were wrong about the impossibility of a human-Visitor hybrid child.  She worries that the Fifth Column could “breed an entire generation” of “mongrels,” hybrid children with human emotions to fight against the Visitors.  To protect against this threat to their species, Anna tells the doctors that they must accelerate the “initiatives” of the live-aboard program and to “commence extraction procedures” on the human residents immediately. Hmmm.  We are left to wonder what Anna’s ‘initiatives’ might entail and what the doctors could be ‘extracting.’

At this point, Anna seems to change her mind about how to handle the fugitive parents.  Remember, she previously told Marcus that she needed them alive.  Now, however, she tells him to “dissect” them in order to find out how the pregnancy happened and how to stop it ever happening again.  Oh yeah, and destroy the baby.  So do Ryan and Valerie have to be alive when dissection begins?  Or did Anna change her mind about their ‘wanted dead or alive’ status?  Anna’s thought processes are far beyond those of this lowly, merely human, reporter.

Back with Ryan and Val, who run from the V health center to Dr. Leah Pearlman (Lexa Doig), the V doctor that first appeared in Episode 5 (“Welcome to the War”).  Val wants an abortion but is told the pregnancy is too advanced.  Val realizes that Dr. Pearlman is a V in human disguise, like Ryan.

V Ep. 109 - Valerie and Ryan with Dr. Pearlman

Leah questions Valerie about her experience at the V healing center.  Val reveals that she was given a “vitamin shot” that was really R6, a substance that will enable the V to track her.  Luckily, Leah has been working on something to neutralize the tracking function of R6, but the function fades over a period of up to 24 hours so they’re not safe yet.  Ryan and Val have to find a place to hide.  Leah decides to go along for the sake of the baby, saying, “There’s nothing more important than this baby.”  She doesn’t say why, though.  Does she share Anna’s belief that a generation of hybrids could be a threat to the Visitors?

Ryan calls Erica to let her know that he is taking Val to safety and they won’t be coming back.  He also tells her he was wrong to keep the truth from Valerie and suggests that Erica consider the same might be true for her son, Tyler (Logan Huffman).  Ryan also tells Erica to contact Joshua on the ship if she needs help.  I guess I’ll have to go back and revisit some prior episodes, but I don’t remember Leah or Valerie having been trusted just yet with Joshua’s identity.  Isn’t this kind of risky, talking in front of them and over a cellular phone?  Am I reading too much into this, or have the writers intentionally left a door open for later betrayal or discovery?

V Ep. 109 - Erica on phone with Ryan

V Ep. 109 - Ryan on phone with Erica

Back in New York, intrepid reporter Chad Decker (Scott Wolf) goes on the air to announce that today he will have surgery to repair the brain aneurism the V said he would have in the future without treatment. The announcement reads a lot like an ad for V medical treatment, with Chad telling the viewing public that “maybe, just maybe, if you or someone you love is in need of medical care, the Visitors will save your life too.”  Strong words, Chad.

    V Ep. 109 - Chad making announcement

When Erica gets home, Tyler is watching V-related news on his laptop.

    V Ep. 109 - Watching V News

He is obviously still upset with his mom, thinking that she cheated on his dad and lied to him about his father.  Never mind that Erica insists the tests were wrong and the man he always thought was his father is really his father.  But I digress….While Erica tries to talk to Tyler, the online news source is reporting that V enthusiasts have banded together to try and buy an abandoned church for something called the Church of V.  Erica is outraged by this announcement, but Tyler sympathizes.  He says “people are looking for answers,” and we can see that Tyler himself is looking for something to grasp onto.

Tyler asks Erica to “name one bad thing the Vs have done since they got here,” a question that she will be asked again later in this episode.  It looks like she is about to tell him the truth but he gets up and puts on his Ambassador jacket (the one with the little V spy camera in it) so she has to switch gears.  Tyler tells Erica that he is off to meet Lisa and Erica says she’d like to meet Lisa sometime (Erica isn’t counting the earlier underwear incident in Tyler’s bedroom).

Back on the ship, a different mother-child conversation is taking place. Anna tells Lisa that she wants Tyler to take part in the live-aboard program and she expects Lisa to make it happen.  Lisa wonders aloud what will happen to Tyler when Anna is finished with him, but not for long—Anna gives her “the look,” and walks away.  We can probably guess what that means for Tyler.

    V Ep. 109 - Lisa and Anna

Anna visits a big, round room on the ship where a group of live-aboard humans are being processed in.  Joshua reports that their plans have been accelerated as ordered and V doctors are already experimenting on the humans.

    V Ep. 109 - Live-aboards being examined

V Ep. 109 - Joshua reporting to Anna

Marcus hurries over with news that the two guards sent to retrieve Ryan and Valerie were killed.  (Remember them? The ones from the V healing center that Ryan killed in his and Val’s apartment?)  Anna is fed up and ready for some real results.  She orders Marcus to release a “soldier,” a shocker to Marcus and Joshua because of the violent mess the soldier is expected to leave in its wake.  Marcus is supposed to follow it around and clean up its messes.

Anna and Lisa give Tyler the good news that his application for the live-aboard program has been approved. Yay!  However, he worries that mom won’t like it so Anna suggests Lisa might be able help change her mind.

    V Ep. 109 - Tyler approved for live-aboard

Back at the (hideout? interrogation chamber? New York Fifth Column Headquarters?) Father Jack and Kyle Hobbes (Charles Mesure) get word from Joshua on the V ship that Anna has sent a soldier after Ryan and the baby.  Jack calls Erica with the news, and Erica shares equally disturbing news that the sniper is a trained killer, ex-military.  Erica decides to visit the sniper’s house, interview his wife, and try to find more information that can help Ryan and Valerie.

    V Ep. 109 - Jack calls Erica

Meanwhile, Ryan, Val and Leah arrive at the Thompsons’ place where they are hoping to receive help with their escape.  The Thompsons (played by Philip Granger and Sarah-Jane Redmond) offer their place in the Adirondacks, which they say is fully stocked with supplies.  Sweet!

    V Ep. 109 - At the Thompsons'

On the ship, Marcus reports to Anna that something is interfering with the R6 in the human mother’s body and they are unable to track her, but—good news!–the soldier has finally located the fugitives.

    V Ep. 109 - Anna and Marcus

Also on the ship, reporter Chad Decker is undergoing treatment for his as-yet-undeveloped brain aneurism.

    V Ep. 109 - Chad's medical procedure

When he wakes up, he finds Anna is there to greet him.  She smilingly tells him the procedure was a success.  At his surprise that she would be there herself, she tells him she didn’t want him to wake up alone, and asks if there isn’t any family or someone he is close to.  He answers that there isn’t anyone and shares that his mother is deceased and he doesn’t have a good relationship with his father.  A more intimate and caring relationship now established between them, Anna confides that there are people out there called the Fifth Column who want to hurt the V.  Chad looks very sincere when he offers to help by running a story on them.

V Ep. 109 - Chad promises to help

Erica, Jack and Kyle head for the Thompsons’ place, hoping to get there in time to help Ryan and Val.

It’s dark at the Thompsons’ place.  Ryan and Valerie are getting ready to leave, headed, probably for the Thompsons’ cabin in the Adirondacks.  Suddenly the lights go out and they all know they’re in trouble.  It’s the V soldier dispatched by Anna.  Mr. Thompson takes a rifle from a gun rack on the wall.

I am sure I’m missing something obvious, but I was a little confused as to why he was using the light on the rifle’s scope.  They were all tiptoeing around the house trying to be stealthy, but this guy is shining a light around in the dark.  Did he want the intruder to find him more easily?

    V Ep. 109 - Using the light

The soldier kills him, then his wife (she’s using the light too).  The soldier seems to be able to hear their heartbeats and he sniffs the air like he also has a heightened sense of smell.  Ryan, Val and Leah making their way quietly downstairs, but the soldier comes down through the ceiling and a big knife fight begins.  Ryan is good! But the soldier is better and Ryan is about to be killed.  Fortunately for everyone, Erica and Jack burst in, guns blazing, and take the soldier out just in time.  But where is Hobbes?  Everyone runs out of the house toward the cars, but the soldier is right behind them!  He isn’t dead after all.  Just in time (again), Hobbes jumps out of the cover of the trees and hits the soldier in the chest with an axe.  That ought to do it but no, the soldier is trying to pull the axe out of his chest.  Hobbes runs to the car, jumps in, and they all take off.

    V Ep. 109 - Soldier with axe

Ryan, Val and Leah plan to continue their journey by train.  With everyone at the train station, Erica, Jack, Kyle, and Ryan discuss their encounter with the soldier at the Thompsons.’  We learn that Visitor soldiers are bred for fighting, but Ryan is different; he was bred for working.  Ryan sure has great fighting skills for a worker, don’t you think?  We also learn that when Ryan was on the ship, Joshua told him that Anna already laid thousands of soldier eggs.  The group worries that time is short before those soldiers are unleashed on the human population.

It’s time to go.  Leah boards the train, but Val tells Ryan that he won’t be coming with her.  He tries to convince her, for her safety at least, to let him come along.  But she can’t forgive him, she never wants to see him again.  He tells her that everything he ever did was for her, then she tells him goodbye and boards the train.  He watches them go.

V Ep. 109 - Valerie and Leah on train

V Ep. 109 - Ryan watches Valerie leave

Chad Decker approaches Father Jack in the church as he is finishing his prayers.  Jack asks about Chad’s medical procedure and how he is feeling.  Chad says he doesn’t feel any different at all, and questions whether the diagnosis was real or a lie.  He tells Jack that he thinks Anna is keeping secrets and asks for the priest’s help.  He says Anna is worried about the Fifth Column and asks whether Jack has ever heard of them.  Warily, Jack says no.  Chad suggests one of Jack’s parishioners might have heard of them.  Chad says he is worried about the Visitors and needs to know he isn’t alone.  Jack promises to tell Chad if he hears anything.

    V Ep. 109 - Chad and Jack

So who is Chad lying to?  Is he deceiving Anna, making her think that he trusts her and is on her side?  Or is he trying to deceive Jack, pretending to be suspicious of Anna?  Chad’s face has an unreadable but very creepy expression as he leaves the church.

On the ship, Marcus reports to Anna that they have now completely lost the R6 signal and can no longer track the mother and baby.

Chad tells Anna he has begun his investigation into the Fifth Column and he might have something for her; he will let her know when he has more information.

V Ep. 109 - Chad reports back to Anna

Erica pours herself a drink at her kitchen counter and leans against the refrigerator, exhausted.

    V Ep. 109 - Erica at home

Lisa shows up at the door looking for Tyler, who isn’t home.  While they wait for him, Erica and Lisa have a little chat over tea.

V Ep. 109 - Erica and Lisa having tea

Lisa tells Erica that Tyler is really interested in the live-aboard program.  Erica looks worried and says she feels like Tyler is slipping away from her but she wants him to be happy.

V Ep. 109 - Erica, Tyler and Lisa

When Tyler comes home with flowers for Lisa, Lisa takes him aside to talk.  She tells him that she doesn’t think that it’s a good idea for him to join the live-aboard program.  She tells him it’s because she thinks his mom needs him.  Tyler tells Lisa that what he wants is to be with her and he thought she wanted the same thing.  Lisa gives back the flowers and leaves.  Angry, Tyler confronts Erica and demands to know what she said to Lisa.  He tells his mom that he is moving up to the ship and there is nothing she can do about it.

    V Ep. 109 - Tyler

In the egg chamber on the ship, Anna is displeased with Lisa.  She thought she had made it clear how important it was to have Tyler on the ship and Lisa has acted to prevent that.  Lisa defends her actions, saying she thinks it’s not a good move for them to make at this point.  She believes Tyler’s mother isn’t ready to let him go, and that she can be more effective with Tyler if she has his mother’s cooperation.  After a pause, Anna says she trusts Lisa’s judgment.  But does she?

V Ep. 109 - Lisa explains to Anna

    Analysis Focus: An Assassin’s Life

“Heretics Fork” centers, in part, on the sniper that appeared at the end of last week’s “We Can’t Win” (Ep. 108).  His name is Jeffrey Barnes, he has a wife and daughter, and he not only trusts the Visitors, he reveres them.  He believes that the V are a peaceful race and it is up to people like him to fight in their defense.

Barnes is played by the very talented Ty Olsson, a Canadian actor that has appeared in many of our favorite shows including Human Target, Battlestar Galactica, Supernatural, and Stargate SG-1, in which he played a certain Col. Barnes.  Wait—Barnes.  Is that a coincidence?

    V Ep. 109 - Interrogation

At the start of “Heretics Fork,” sniper Barnes is being questioned by FBI agent-cum-Fifth Column resistance leader Erica Evans (Elizabeth Mitchell), who demands to know why this human would take the side of the Visitors against his own race.  But the critical information Agent Evans is after is what happened to the stolen hard drive.  Names and addresses of Fifth Column operatives are stored on that hard drive and she and the others are determined to find it and warn the other cells that the V are onto them.

While hard-core former soldier/mercenary Kyle Hobbes (Charles Mesure—LOVED him as the Archangel Michael in Xena) is enthusiastically willing to resort to extreme physical violence in order to wrest the information from their prisoner, Father Jack Landry (Joel Gretsch) can’t bring himself to support the violence and stops Hobbes (for now).

    V Ep. 109 - Jack stops Kyle

But when Erica and Jack leave to pursue other parts of our story (as detailed above), Hobbes introduces Barnes to the Heretics Fork, a double-ended fork that is strapped to the subject’s neck so that the tines simultaneously press up into the flesh below the jaw and down into the base of the throat.

    V Ep. 109 - Heretics Fork

The person wearing it would not be able to fall asleep or even to relax their neck at all without stabbing themselves with the tines.  In this reporter’s opinion, the Heretics Fork is kind of a strange choice of torture device for Hobbes.  He strikes me as the type of guy that would prefer quicker methods, unless he had the luxury of time that does not present itself here.  Hobbes doesn’t get to play with his toy anyway because Father Jack comes back in the nick of time, then the little ball that is the V phone starts glowing and ringing—a call from Joshua (Mark Hildreth) on the V ship, warning that Anna (Morena Baccarin) has dispatched a V soldier to go after Ryan (Morris Chestnut), Val (Lourdes Benedicto) and the baby.

    V Ep. 109 - Call from Joshua

Cut to: Erica at the sniper’s home, interviewing his wife (Sonya Salomaa).

    V Ep. 109 - Sniper's wife

It is here and in a later interview with Barnes himself that we learn why Barnes feels indebted to the Visitors.  Barnes’ daughter (Havana Guppy) had been hit by a car, the driver busy with his cell phone and not paying attention to the road.  The little girl was paralyzed from the neck down.  But then “the V came” and healed her.

    V Ep. 109 - Sniper's daughter

It isn’t clear from their story whether the Barneses took their daughter to a healing center, or if the V somehow identified this family as potential allies and offered to heal the girl.  The second scenario is creepier, but it’s probably more straightforward than that and my imagination is simply running wild.

Now that Erica has her information, it’s time to search the house.  She asks to use the bathroom before she leaves and takes the opportunity to snoop around.  The stolen hard drive is located in an upstairs room behind a desk.  She grabs it and hurries back to the others.

V Ep. 109 - The stolen hard drive

Back at the interrogation hideout, Hobbes prints what information is left on the recovered hard drive (nice color printout, by the way).

    V Ep. 109 - Recovered data

Someone had attempted to erase the data, so only partial names and addresses are retrievable.  Erica recognizes the name “Thompson” from an earlier phone call with Ryan.  Ryan, Valerie and Dr. Leah Pearlman (Lexa Doig) are seeking help from someone named Thompson, which probably means they are headed for trouble.  Erica tries one more time to convince Barnes to talk.

    V Ep. 109 - "It's people like you"

But Barnes is devoted to the V and asks Erica to “name one bad thing that they’ve done since they arrived.”  (Tyler asks her the very same question in this episode, and has the same response to her silence: “You can’t, can you?”)  Barnes becomes very emotional, revealing his fear that people like her will scare the peaceful Visitors away.  Understanding that Barnes will never willingly help them, Erica hands him over to Hobbes.

V Ep. 109 - Handing over prisoner to Kyle

“Time for all decent people to leave the room now,” he says.  Father Jack, obviously disturbed by what he knows is about to take place, nevertheless leaves the room and waits with Erica in the car while Hobbes carries out his interrogation.

When Hobbes comes out, he has the information they need: the Thompsons live on a farm just outside Nyack (about 30 miles north of New York City, along the Tappan Zee).

We leave our sniper for a while, presumably still tied by his wrists from the ceiling, suffering the aftereffects of Hobbes’ interrogation techniques.

Near the end of the episode and after a lot of very interesting action (discussed above), our Fifth Column conspirators are deciding what to do with Barnes.  Hobbes offers to make him disa

ppear into a “secret prison overseas,” unless someone else has a better idea.  No one does, and Barnes is consigned into Hobbes’ care.

    V Ep. 109 - Into the woods

Of course, there will be no overseas travel or secret prison.  When next we see Barnes, Hobbes is leading him through the woods.  They come to a halt and Barnes asks Hobbes, “Is this it?”  But it’s not the end of Barnes yet.  Hobbes says, “No.  First you’re going to tell me everything you know about the Vs.  Then you’re going to beg me to kill you.”

    V Ep. 109 - Not over yet

V Ep. 109 - You'll beg me to kill you

  • V Series – Cooking with the V’s: Guess Who’s Coming to (as) Dinner?

V-ABC-Morena-02-crop-cWe were so nice to her and we loved to hate her as Adria!

How in the world is it possible that our evilly wonderful Anna Adria Inara (Morena Baccarin) simply utterly shat117627_0044_pre-ctered all previous evil roles she has played with such a wry smile?

Well it is all true folks. Not only is Anna Visitor so evil she is good, she appears to be mighty hungry for some for some delicacies from Earth … Us! AND worst of all? Our dear Anna Morena has an Earth passport valid in all countries of the world to procure her delicacies. Yikes!

Before we placed our Wormhole friends in a crock pot for slow cooking and are ultimately se117627_0245_pre-crved as dinner to a bunch of reptilian V Series Visitors, let’s review how Anna Visitor and her lovely daughter Lisa played by the beautiful Laura Vandervoort decided on some delightful new recipes for their home cooked meals with us right here on our home planet Earth!

So, guess who Warner Brothers and ABC V Series have coming to (as) dinner? Congratulations! Errr.. Condolences! It’s you and me about to be served up on a shiny silver Visitors serving platter!! Double Yikes!!

117403_8632_pre-cAs we have previously reported it’s so easy to get prepared … errr be prepared for dinner! Want to get ready for being garnished?

Well friends, all it takes is it what ABC television has been serving up on our plates the past f117627_0093_pre-cour Tuesday evenings!

My how tasty the recipe that ABC has been. V Series is well seasoned with veteran actors like Morena Baccarin, Scott Wolf, Laura Vandervoort, Christopher Shyer, Joel Gretch, Logan Huffman, Alan Tudyk, Elizabeth Mitchell, Morris Chestnut, Lourdes BenedictoHerb Sommerfeld, David Richmond Peck, Benita Ha, and Roark Critchlow!

For Stargate SG-1 and SGU fans, Visitor chef’s include the venerable Scott Hylands, and the meal preparation talents of Patrick Gilmore and Josh Blacker known by Stargate fans for their roles in the new hit series Stargate Universe! We love seeing these very talented actors in the kitchen cooking with the V’s!117401_7918_pre-c

117627_0600_pre-cAre there others in the ‘cooking kitchen’ from the creators of the new V? You bet! As mentioned the delightful cast of hungry V’s is lead by several relative new comers including the gorgeous Laura Vandervoort, Jesse Wheeler, and Brittney Irvin! I’ll take an Elizabeth Mitchell appetizer, Adria A117627_0398_pre-cnna Morena as my entrée, and for dessert? Two Laura Vandervoort’s please.

Ok, enough with the all you can eat human and cooking jokes! Let’s get serious about what ABC and HDFilms have accomplished with V Series.

Click to visit Warner Brothers Studios!Following a trend demonstrated in recent years for several television series, ABC in V Series, produced by Warner Brothers has assembled an outstanding ensemble science fiction cast for the first four episodes of V Series as previously reported.

After viewing all four episodes 115949_GROUPr6_pre(and re-watching each several times) the talent on this recreation of a classic mini-series has made the re-worked story-line very believable.

The actors in V weave many of today’s modern events directly into the story-line! Just wait for one of the many shockers in tonight’s episode! All I can say about that is think very carefully before you get that H1N1 flu shot!

And oh about the Al-Qeada? We always knew there was something wrong with those guys and gals blowing themselves up! They are V’s and they have been here for years! No wonder our planet is in such a freaking messed up state of affairs! ZOMG!

    C3PO: We’re Doomed!

After deciding to run only four episodes in 2009, V Series is much more of a mini-series to rival and exceed the original 1980’s version of V. After watching and re-watching the first four episodes, including watching episode 1.04 ‘It’s Only the Beginning’ five times, this reviewer is certain that by waiting for 2010 to continue this epic saga, V Series made a good decision for many reasons.

First, the series started a bit late in the fall viewing season. With the holidays approaching what ABC has 117387_3191_predone is similar to many other series by splitting the season to carry the excitement into the New Year. Moreover, many fans including this one, felt that establishing a V series fan baseline was needed before proceeding with a full season.

Second, so much has happened in the first four episodes that a break in the action is needed to allow fans and supporters to assimilate the ‘Single Effect’ of this fine television art and entertainment production.

The Single Effect? What is that you may ask? And why have WormholeRiders News Agency discussed The Single Effect in several, if not all of their reviews?

Well, readers of Edgar Allen Poe certainly know exactly what we mean, it is said EdgarAllenPoe-01that he coined the phrase ages ago. If you do not know who Edgar Allan Poe is, no problem. Here is the question: What is Edgar Allan Poe’s Single effect idea about? Edgar Allen Poe believed that all short stories should have a Single Effect whereby all events and all the details of the story being told should contribute to this effect. In this regard, ABC and HDFilms have not disappointed.

Clearly woven throughout the first four episodes of V is an explicitly eloquent use of this timeless writing technique! Every scene in V contributes to the Single Effect of the artistry.

While some are yet to be revealed, and there will be no spoilers here, careful re-review of the V Series digital materials (using ABCMediaNet’s outstanding services), clearly demonstrates that each piece of the V Series puzzle is a part of the greater Single Effect of the story!

For this writer, in addition to Edgar Allen Poe’s reference, a very positive single effect (verb not a noun) is that which is currently being experienced by the fans of ABC and V Series!

So what exactly are the other (non single) effects are the Visitor’s are having on the news media and the fandom? For one the V peeps appear to be getting the idea on the web, but are still missing out on a huge news and fan presence by not being on Twitter?

Well, at least not the major stars of V. Unlike the wonderful Twitter-badge-01near total presence of the majority of Stargate Universe cast, creators, writers and producers, V has been a little slow to get aboard the social networking bandwagon. But fear not, there are some trying to give the Visitors a message, Get on Board- Pretty please!

So far it has been the guest stars of the likes of Josh Blacker, David Richmond-Peck, Herb Sommerfeld, and Patrick Gilmore who have carried the banner for the missing V Series Twitter Visitors! All of whom regularly interact with the digital media and more importantly the fans. These four fine actors have done more than yeoman’s work and deserve a lot of credit for V’s presence on Twitter.

    Breaking News:

November 25, 2AnnaVisitor009: Recent reports of Anna Queen Visitor arrival on Twitter are frighteningly true folks! We believe this to be the ‘real RPG’ Anna because of her interaction with the fans. Run for your lives peeps!

Why should the V cast, creators, and producers get more involved on Twitter now? First off it’s a great way to reach out to the fan Click to visit V Series on ABC!base and is fun! By doing so it would dovetail supporters efforts for V Series. ABC Studio Network has recently announced news that V Series will indeed return for a full season in March 2010!

We hope that the fine ABC V team will get the fan and digital media message: Get the major stars on V on Twitter before 2010 or be prepared to be cooked and skinned alive! Got it? Okay! LOL!

Now back to the show and whether or not ABC and HDFilms have “done the job” in the first four episode 2009 mini-series?

Are the computer generated visual effects up to snuff? Has the road been paved for V to rock the world in 2010?

Click to visit HDFilms! And critically has the show penetrated the hearts of scienV-ABCMediaNet-Morena-117297_D_0259_prece fiction fans deep enough to warrant more V Series from Warner Brothers, the ABC Studio Network and HDFilms?

Based on the ratings of V which most cable networks envy, and detailed reviewing by our staff, HDFilms and ABC have completely far surpassed the original V! ABC has virtually taking over on Tuesday nights in the United States! ABC should be proud of what they have produced!

Perhaps not the wisest, but certainly being the oldest editor at WormholeRiders News Agency, I am the only one here who can currently directly compare the effects of the old versus the new V (yes I am that old!). I conclude my report with a few words about V Series: We will be adding a V Series Team Leader Vala_The_Great in the near future!

V Series airs every Tuesday in the United States on ABC who will be sure to send us all more Adria Anna Inara Morena. Yes more V Series please! If Warner Brothers and ABC do so, I and Adria the Cat will be most grateful this Thanksgiving!
