Now with three episodes of Debris under our belts, there is no doubt this is the most significant new science fiction based drama series that has been released in 2021! WormholeRiders gives the “Solar Winds” episode of Debris an “A PLUS” for reasons we share below!

The reception on social media to this new series broadcast on the NBC Network each Monday has been fabulous. With everyone we know  heaping praise to NBC Universal for making Debris become reality in 2021!

To make things even better for science fiction fans, TeamWHR has confirmed that each episode is available on Peacock TV, the free streaming service from NBC Universal each week right after the live broadcasts on the NBC Network! We have watched the episodes on Peacock TV on our mobile devices while traveling on business and love the fact that this outstanding science fiction series movies has been brought to us no matter where we are!

In the Pilot Episode the apparent arrival of aliens on Earth occurs with their ability to materialize, or clone the bodies of a young man who had died in a tragic automobile accident.

In the second episode, “You Are Not Alone“, the ability of the aliens to clone a person is multiplied when a victim being manipulated by the aliens is cloned three times!

To complicate matters, while investigating the circumstances in a town named Fleetwood, a cloning of our protagonist, Bryan Beneventi, almost takes place! Were the aliens attempting to replace Bryan Beneventi with one of their own? Fortunately, it seems Bryan was not cloned and the doppelganger was apparently killed. A question remains; was an alien actually inhabiting the clone, or merely controlling it?

WormholeRiders News Agency is a long time admirer of the entertainment industry veteran entertainment J.H. Wyman of Fringe fame, who was Executive Producer and writer for that classic series.

The third episode of Debris, “Solar Winds” takes viewers to another level with cool special effects when a portal to another dimension opens in an Ohio field with human beings who have disappeared in the past including “The Woman From The Other Side” are trapped “Over There” because “There’s More Than One of Everything”. Puns intended since these were the names of Fringe season one episode twenty, episodes nineteen, twenty two, and twenty three in season two of that series.

These sequences are much like “The Observers” in Fringe who invaded Earth using a Portal from the future. This Fringey aspect in the story arc gives a familiar, yet unique feel to the Debris series from Wyman’s who have proven that he is more than capable of creating exciting science fiction drama!

Along his company, Frequency Films in conjunction with Legendary Studios, Jason Hoffs, Jeff Vlaming, and Samantha Corbin-MillerTanya Swerling, also of Fringe fame and Katie O’Hara all serve as the series producers, it is obvious that Wyman has assembled a team of entertainment industry experts who have laid a solid foundation for season one and beyond!

Debris features many more great supporting actors all of whom will add realism to the story arc! Courtesy of NBC describes “Solar Winds” as “When Bryan and Finola investigate a mysterious, otherworldly square that has appeared in a field, they come to understand new revelations about our planet. Maddox meets with an old contact“.

We include a clip below from “Solar Winds” for your enjoyment before we begin our review analysis of this episode.

The third episode opens with CIA Agent Bryan Beneventi (Jonathan Tucker) and Agent Finola Jones (Riann Steele) being directed to Ohio subsequent to reports from a utility crew worker who discovers the portal shown above near a cellular phone tower. The worker is stunned when she see people apparently trapped on “The Other Side”.

The scene shifts to Bryan being examined in an MRI machine with his boss Craig Maddox (Norbert Leo Butz) asking about his condition subsequent to being cloned in the second episode. The doctor says Bryan is “normal”, giving him a clean bill of health to go back to work stating “however it cloned him, the exposure had no impact on his biology”.

Bryan, not comfortable after being sworn to secrecy regarding Finola’s father George Jones (Tyrone Benskin) apparently being alive, asks Maddox what is happening? Maddox informs Bryan that they are exhuming George Jones body and that Orbital will “get to the bottom of it”.

Bryan tells his boss that if MI6 knew George Jones was alive, they would take her out on the United States before it becomes an issue. Bryan agrees to not tell Finola, but is obviously not happy withholding information from his partner. Our hypothesis is that George Jones, an expert on alien phenomena, has been either or cloned by the aliens or someone who has learned how to use their cloning technology!

Bryan joins Finola and the Orbital Team on board an AWAC’s aircraft and heads to Millersburg Ohio to investigate the portal sighting incident. On the way, they discuss a shadowy organization named “Influx” headed up by Anson Ash (Scroobius Pip) who has been involved with dealing in, and using contraband alien objects since the pilot episode.

Upon arrival in Ohio, a complete Orbital team has the area under quarantine. A video of the portal has been captured, however, now the portal has vanished or is no longer visible to the human eye. Odd sounds are heard coming from the portal that are only audible on the video.

The Orbital Team reports that no Debris has been located at that time, but Bryan and Finola are not so certain. A search of the surrounding area is ordered when Finola correctly says “It’s got to be around somewhere”. While doing research and documentation that night, Finola hears a voice captured on the Orbital frecording equipment, heard on all the teams audio devices.

This person will turn out to be Nicole Hegman  (Sarah Desjardins), trapped on the other side of the portal. Nicole is recorded saying that she sees the lights from equipment illuminating the field. The team correctly determines that the portal must still there even though it cannot be seen.

When the team goes outside to the field near the location of the portal, Nicole continues to communicate with everyone stating that she can see them! Finola request that a technician create a way to communicate with Nicole, states that the invisible “Legari Spectrum” of light have only been built as receivers. Finola tells Agent Tom (Thomas Cadrot) and Specialist Muntz (Matthew MacCaull) the electronics technician, that they must make contact with Nicole!

Debris S1x03 Bryan helps Muntz build a transmitter
Matthew MacCaull as Muntz, Jonathan Tucker as Bryan Beneventi. Image by James Dittiger, courtesy NBC

Bryan, apparently a well trained electronics technician in his own right, scavenges some electronic relay parts from a million dollar piece of equipment much to the horror of Muntz! A bit of humor occurs when Bryan snubs Muntz, telling him that he always lets the other guys (like Muntz) touch the Debris first to avoid being turned inside out just as the alien portal suddenly re-materializes in the field.

Using a cobbled together transmitter from the parts Bryan brought to Muntz, Finola is able to communicate with Nicole. Bryan states that there must be Debris nearby or the portal would not be visible allowing Nicole and Finola to communicate. The portal breaks up, but Bryan learns that Nicole Hegman is a real person who disappeared from Saline Michigan in 2019. Bryan ask how is that possible when the Debris only started falling to Earth six months ago?

We segue to Craig Maddox who goes to a “dead drop” in a local store to purchase something. Inside the bag is a cell phone. Maddox is contacted by a Russian spy named Tarkolov (Dmitry Chepovetsky). Maddox seems nonchalant about the contact indicating that he is a double agent. There is something about the Maddox character that make a viewer not want to trust him. Maddox shows Tarkolov a video of objects appearing out of thin air, much like the portal in the field. Tarkolov shares with Maddox that the Chinese claim to have similar Debris objects.

Debris S1x03 Nicole Hegmann portrayed by Sarah Desjardins trapped on the other side of the portal
Nicole Hegmann portrayed by Sarah Desjardins trapped on the other side of the portal. Image courtesy NBC

Maddox, we know that he has a hanger full of objects that the CIA is reconstructing to understand the alien technology as witnessed in the first episode. Maddox is fishing for more alien tech pieces is not convinced that the Chinese government have anything.

A trade of some Debris is arranged between Tarkolov and Maddox for the following Friday. Later we will learn that this is an inter dimensional transport device very much similar to the portal in the field.

The Portal back to the field has not reappeared as Bryan and Finola discuss why Nicole cannot see the others trapped on the other side and they cannot see her. Finola suspects that each of the occupants are on a different frequency. Both are still stumped why the portal in the field disappeared, but believe it is still there.

Much like portals in the history of ancient civilizations, Finola shares with Bryan that her father believed in a theory of dimensional points in North America where such things occurred.

Debris S1x03 Richard Hegman and Finola discuss Sarah's disappearance
Riann Steele as Finola Jones, Christopher Shyer as Richard Hegman. Image by James Dittiger, courtesy NBC

Subsequent to viewing a video made by George Jones, Bryan finds a map of such portal locations, or access points discussed by George. Two of which directly correlate to the field in Ohio and the place in Michigan were Nicole disappeared. Muntz, Finola and Bryan theorize that the appearance of Nicole and the ability to communicate with her appears tied to how emotional she is when the portal appears.

Then three things happen. Nicoles father Richard Hegman (Christopher Shyer) is brought to the Ohio site. Bryan relates that the portal and the access points maps are similar to the Bermuda Triangle. Richard confirms that the voice is Nicole’s and that he felt her presence when he was in the parking lot in Saline Michigan in the past after she disappeared. When Richard approaches the area where the Portal is, although invisible, Nicole sees him and she communicates that she can see him, and that for her only a few hours have elapsed.

Muntz believes that time is moving at a different rate in the other dimension where Nicole is trapped. This situation is similar to the Avengers Endgame character Scott Lang who was trapped in a Quantum Realm where only hours elapsed even though he had been gone for five years!

Debris S1x03 The Orbital Team finds Debris near the portal
Jonathan Tucker as Bryan Beneventi, Riann Steele as Finola Jones. Image by James Dittiger, courtesy NBC

Meanwhile, Maddox’s boss Harris Grohl (Todd Thomson) shows up in his office and states that the Russian Tarkolov has been spotted in the United States. Maddox does not tell his boss that he met with Tarkolov providing further evidence that Maddox is a double agent of some sort, but whose side is Maddox really on, ours, the Russians or the “Influx” rogue agents?

Then the Orbital team detects that Debris is close by and tracks it down. One piece is no longer emanating power, but the other larger piece is.

Their discovery indicates that the pieces of objects in a forest are too far away to keep the portal fully activated. Nearly depleted of power and emanating power erratically, this is why the portal appears to blink off and on.

Debris S1x03 Anson hides and evades the Orbital Team
Scroobius Pip as Anson Ash.mage by James Dittiger, courtesy NBC

A truck stolen by Anson of “Influx” is found close to the pieces of the objects. Anson, Loeb (Ben Cotton) and other of his operatives are seen hiding behind the tress in the forest but are not detected by the Orbital Team. Anson and his team use their transport tech we have witnessed being used in previous episode. Anson and his crew disappear before Bryan and Finola can find them.

Muntz demands that the pieces be sent back to Orbital headquarters immediately. Finola and Bryan want the remaining power in the object to be used to free Nicole and the other people trapped on the other side of the Portal.

Bryan suggest that the Debris pieces be brought to the field before sending then to Orbital HQ. The pieces are transported and mounted by mobile hydraulic crane. Once in the field and pointed at the Portal, it reappears in a three dimensional shape with Nicole and others fully visible.

Bryan orders that one of the the larger deactivated other pieces be shoved through the Portal. As this is done, Nicole is able to push her arm through the Portal while Finola pulls her all the way through. At this point the Portal loses cohesion and all the people trapped inside are freed!

Speaking with each person, the Orbital Team discovers that some have been missing for longer than Nicole with two people stating they disappeared in years past ranging from 1976 to 1989. Nicole is reunited with her father as the team says to the others that they will help them find their families.

Debris S1x03 Finola with her father George Jones before his body is switched

The finale sequences take us to Maddox in his hanger laboratory. Two opposing pieces of functional Debris are setup with Maddox standing between them throwing a chair throw one, only to have the chair reappear behind him being gently slid back instead of being thrown from portal to portal!

Maddox gets a call that the body exhumed from the grave is not George Jones! Maddox looks at a security video of Finola with her father at the morgue in England the night he washed ashore some time earlier. Finola can be clearly seen removing her fathers watch for sentimental reasons.

While viewing the video sent by his operative in England, a twenty four minute segment of the security video from the morgue is missing! What is revealed when the video resumes is shocking, George Jones body had been switched!

Debris S1x04 Bryan and Finola in spacesuits!

Whomever swapped the bodies made a serious mistake because the replacement cadaver used to switch with the George Jones has a watch just like the one that Finola removed from her father!

The question becomes not that was George Jones cloned, but by whom, and for what purpose!?!

As you are aware, TeamWHR loves science fiction movies and television programs. New entries in the field on a major broadcasting network are a rare event and fantastic when they occur. We believe all such efforts must be supported if our beloved genre is to flourish.

The arrival of aliens on Earth, believed by many to have already occurred, is an even rarer event. The wait is over science fiction admirers and fans, Debris has de-materialized on Earth! This evening on NBC, Debris, a fantastic news series kicked off with the Pilot episode.

Debris is described by NBC as follows:

“When wreckage from a destroyed alien spacecraft scatters across the Western Hemisphere, it soon becomes apparent the pieces are messing with the laws of physics, changing lives in ways we can’t comprehend. Two agents from different continents, and different mindsets, are tasked to work together to recover the debris, whose mysteries humankind is not quite ready for.”

    Debris Pilot:

Debris S1x01 Pilot - In the hotel with the alien artifacts

Produced by Frequency Films and Legendary Television in association with Universal Television, the “Debris” Pilot, opens in a hotel room in New York City with Anson Ash (Scroobius Pip) and his sidekick Holloway (Rowan Schlosberg) are purchasing a mysterious object sealed in a shielded plastic case from an unknown black marker artifact dealer (Michael Eklund) who accepts a briefcase full of cash promising he has another artifact that can be made available for more money.

Anson and Holloway appear interested in the second object as they conclude the transaction on the first. We do not know at this point what the object in the sealed plastic is or why the objects are worth a briefcase full of cash.

Debris S1x01 Pilot - Our heroes arrive at the hotel
Debris– “Pilot” — Riann Steele as Finola Jones, Jonathan Tucker as Bryan Beneventi — (Images courtesy Sergei Bachlakov/NBC)

The action immediately begins when our heroes Agent Bryan Beneventi (Jonathan Tucker), and Agent Finola (Riann Steele) arrive at the hotel with a squad of government agents hot on the trail of Anson, Holloway and the artifact objects dealer.

Bryan Beneventi and Finola Jones have apparently been tipped off regarding the transaction of the mysterious objects.  They quickly head to the fourteenth floor subsequent to the hotel front desk revealing where Anson, Holloway and the artifact dealer are in order to arrest the parties involved. Soon we will learn that the trio are trafficking what appear to be alien objects with unusual properties.

Debris S1x01 Pilot - Anson and Holloway are tipped off and flee before the agents arrive

However, an eastern European operative (Andrei Kovski) associated with the purchasers of the object, tips off Anson Ash who hightails it out of the hotel room with Holloway!

The man selling the alien artifact objects grabs the briefcase, but gets caught in the hallway when agents storm the fourteenth floor. Obviously knowing that the object artifacts are forbidden, he stashes the second object he brought with him (wrapped in plastic) in a piece of furniture near a maids room service cart. The artifact dealer then follows Anson and Holloway down a stairway hoping to flee the hotel.

Debris S1x01 Pilot - Anson and Holloway disappear as the artifact dealer hits a dead end
Michael Eklund as the artifact dealer who is trapped in a dead end in the hotel kitchen. Image courtesy NBC Universal

Anson and Holloway arrive in the kitchen downstairs on a lower hotel level with the seller of the objects not far behind. The seller suddenly turns a corner in the kitchen to find only a dead end hall. Anson and Holloway have completely disappeared, but how?

In fact both Anson and Holloway have apparently transported away to safety by using some sort of alien power associated with the artifact objects! Now we know why the CIA and MI6 are so interested in these two people!

Debris S1x01 Pilot - The maid finds the second artifact and transports through the floor

Meanwhile, the seller of the alien artifact objects is observed landing on a vehicle outside the hotel after what is suspected as being thrown from the second floor by Anson and Holloway since the briefcase with the money is no longer seen in his hand after he impacts the vehicle which appears to have killed him.

We move back to the fourteenth floor where a maid observes the plastic bag with the second object sticking out of the drawer in the furniture. When the maid removes the object from the plastic bag and touches it, she is de-materializes and reappears flying through the ceiling of a ballroom on the ground level, killing her in the process!

Debris S1x01 Pilot Opening Theme Sequence
Pilot Opening Theme Sequence. Image courtesy NBC Universal

As the Pilot unfolds into the introduction and theme sequence, we observe that a spaceship, an alien mothership has broken up in orbit with chunks of the ship witnessed entering Earth’s atmosphere in a wide swath, that Finola works for the United Kingdom’s MI-6 and Bryan works for the United States CIA, Bryan and Finola have teamed up to perform containment of the crashed alien ship of unknown origin.

In the next sequences we observe the Debris team investigating the ballroom where the maid died after falling through the floor to the ballroom. Once again we witness the piece of Debris that is able to defy gravity floating above the carpet in the ballroom.

Debris S1x01 Pilot - Containment Team
Containment team arrives. Image courtesy NBC Universal

A team of agents wearing hazmat suits arrives. They are equipped with special containers to hold the alien object safely so that it does not activate again. The CIA and MI6 containment teams have developed special technology to temporarily deactivate and then place the Debris into special metal alloy cylinders so that it can be safely transported back to their secret testing facilities.

Based on the disappearance of Anson and Holloway, who are not associated with the CIA and MI6, it becomes apparent that the object(s) can transport people using some sort of alien technology not available on Earth.

Also of interest is a secure phone call Finola has with MI6 Agent Priya Ferris (Anjali Jay) who is in London. Here it becomes apparent that although MI6 and the CIA and working together on securing the alien artifact objects, each agency has it’s own agenda. This will make for an interesting tension as the story arc unfolds in coming episodes.

Debris S1x01 Pilot - Task Force Leader Craig Maddox
Norbert Leo Butz as Maddox – Image courtesy NBC Universal

We next meet Task Force Leader Craig Maddox (Norbert Leo Butz) while learning more about the containment team and their mission to attempt to track and contain the events that have occurred across the western hemisphere. In this way, the Debris events are similar to the 1947 Roswell incident that many to this very day was covered up by the United States government. The Debris difference is that there are many crash sites and the governments involved will have their hands full trying to contain the secret!

It becomes clear when Bryan Beneventi is talking with Maddox that Anson and Holloway, who were teamed with an eastern European agent, are likely working with agents not affiliated with Russia or China, or so they say. Who, and what countries are seeking to obtain samples of the crashed space ship remains to be revealed.

Debris S1x01 Pilot - Kieran Vandeberg portrayed by Benjamin Goas
Kieran Vandeberg portrayed by Benjamin Goas. Image courtesy NBC Universal

Then we are introduced to a young man named Kieran Vandeberg (Benjamin Goas) who is observed with his “mother”. We learn a bit later that the woman is not Kieran’s actual mother Mary Vandeberg (Julia Benson) when Kieran is seen with another woman who thinks she is Kieran’s Mom!

In fact Kieran was killed in an automobile accident seven months earlier and is an alien entity is projecting itself as Kieran for an unknown purpose. In this sequence we witness the modus operandi of young Kieran. He meets women he has taken control of in what appears to be a learning process about humanity convincing each of them they are his mother.

Debris S1x01 Pilot - Kieran Vandeberg the alien sends his victims away defying gravity
Kieran Vandeberg the alien sends his victims away defying gravity. Image courtesy NBC Universal

Each person Kiernan takes control of ends up near death. Each victim is sent floating away using Kieran’s alien ability to float objects above the ground and defy gravity! Kieran who we learn is in Kansas, sends a woman named Amy Morrison (Amanda Marier) that he has paralyzed on her way to a destination. At this point, only the alien in the body of the deceased Kieran knows why!

Upon their arrival in Witchita, Kansas, Benveneti, Jones and their containment team specialists find Amy Morrison, Mary Vandeberg and several others. All appear to be dead with blood seeping from their eyes. Amy Morrison is observed defying gravity, hovering or floating above the ground with her sweater caught on a barbed wire fence.

Investigation reveals that all are being drawn to the same location when Beneventi releases Amy whose sweater got stuck on barbed wire. The next scene is creepy when Beneventi and Jones follow the hovering Amy to the middle of a field where several other bodies are floating in a circular pattern in mid air!

Debris S1x01 Pilot - The containment team finds another gravity defying victim
The containment team finds another gravity defying victim. Image courtesy NBC Universal

The bodies are taken to a field containment unit setup to conduct examinations to be performed. Dr. Sharon Bhandari (Kendra Westwood), an Orbital EMT (Josh Panagiotou) and others who are part of the containment team. Dr,  Bhandari discovers that the people are not actually dead when their eyes exhibit movement!

The victims appear to be paralyzed with their life force being slowly drained by the alien who has inhabited Kieran’s body manifestation. Dr. Bhandari’s testing conforms that the victims are not dead, only that their motor movement skills have been inhibited and that they can likely hear and see what is going on around them.

Dr. Bhandari reports that their condition is deteriorating, likely because of the alien infested body of young Kieran Vandeburg is no longer around to sustain them.

Debris S1x01 Pilot - Mary Vandeberg is discovered at her farm
Julia Benson as Mary Vandeberg – Image by Sergei Bachlakov, courtesy NBC Universal

All the victims, especially Mary Vandeburg, Kieran’s biological mother, are somehow connected to the accident that happened seven months earlier that killed Kieran. Beneventi and Jones head to the Vandenburg farm when it is reported that they have not returned a call to local authorities. Here they find Mary Vandeburg, floating like the other victims. Beneventi and Jones speak with Kieran’s sister and learn that he died in the accident seven months earlier.

As the mysterious adventure continues, a large pile of Debris is located in a forested area near the farm owned by Mary Vandeburg and her husband. The Debris is almost completely intact seemingly of a semi round cohesive state, floating above the ground with bits and pieces of nearby dirt and leaves swirling above the grave site memorial of Kieran.

While waiting for the containment team to arrive, Beneventi and Jones search the Vandeburg house for clues and discuss the Debris floating above Kieran’s grave. Things turn crazy when Beneventi states that Kieran how could this happen? How was Kieran exhumed by the alien and “meat” was placed back on his bones. Jones reveals that in her discussion with the sister, only Kieran’s ashes were at the grave memorial because Kieran was cremated!

Debris S1x01 Pilot - Debris over Kierans memorial at Mary Vandebergs home

After the containment team arrives, Finola Jones wants to take another look at the Debris before it is taken away for containment. As she approaches the large pile of debris, it becomes apparent that she is affected by it but pulls back before she becomes contaminated or transported away but only after Finola hears her own voice calling her own mother. Somehow the artifact was pulling memories from inside Finola’s mind!

Kieran’s sister Isla Vandeberg (Alisha Newton) then reveals to Beneventi and Jones that she was supposed to come home after her mother Mary Vandeburg called saying she had good news about Keiran. Suddenly the next day Mary Vandeburg cancelled the homecoming. The reason is that Kieran had taken control of Mary Vandeburg, killing her in the process.

The question is are these deliberate killings or some sort of tragic accidents as the aliens are trying to learn about humans by extracting or reading memories from their minds subsequent to being activated by the grief of Mary Vandeburg?

Debris S1x01 Pilot - Mary Vandeberg brought the alien to life by her feelings
Mary Vandeberg brought the alien to life by her feelings of loss. Image courtesy NBC Universal

While Dr. Bhandari continues her examinations at the field containment facility, Beneventi and Jones piece together that the alien entity must have been using each human victim as a “human battery” in an attempt to understand the grief of Mary Vandeburg over the loss of her son. Dr. Bhandari calls Beneventi and Jones to tell them that the bodies are speaking two words: Jenna Goldman, the name of Finola Jones mother. Beneventi and Jones deduce that the Debris at the Vandeburg farm that Finola communicated with is somehow connected to all the paralyzed bodies in the field containment facility!

Suddenly Anson and Holloway appear at the Debris site on the Vandeburg farm while the containment team is at work. Agent Tom Gordon (Thomas Cadrot) spots the two intruders ordering them to freeze! Instead, Anson and Holloway each place a fragment of the alien artifact objects in their mouths and vanish, rematerializing  under a freeway underpass lord knows where!

This detail appears to prove that Anson and Holloway know more about the Debris than the CIA and MI6. Unfortunately for Holloway, he rematerializes inside a concrete pillar supporting the freeway! Anson kills his former partner and leaves the scene immediately but not before the containment team are alerted to an atmospheric disturbance.

    https://www.nbc.com/debris
Rushing to the scene. Image courtesy NBC Universal

Beneventi and Jones rush to the scene to find Holloway embedded in the concrete from his chest down. Although Anson has escaped, the technology, a type of “Phased Transport” system the aliens utilize is not without consequences for those who are not trained to use it properly.

Tracking down Kieran in Kansas via law enforcement and video cameras that the CIA has tapped into, we see the woman from the restaurant at the same service station that Kieran visited with his mother Mary Vandeburg. The woman thinks she is Kieran’s mother!

While Bryan interrogates the woman seen at the restaurants, now at the service station, the alien entity pretending to be Kieran takes control of Finola Jones mind when she approaches the vehicle while Bryan Beneventi is interrogating the woman from the restaurant.

Kieran, now in control of Finola Jones mind, is forced to drive the vehicle to the scene of his accident. As the pair leave the gas station restaurant, Beneventi alerts his containment team after figuring out that Kieran, who had been killed months earlier, is still attached to Mary Vandeburg as the anchor holding the alien to the circumstances.

Beneventi brings the sister, Isla Vandeburg, to the field containment facility in an attempt to speak to her paralyzed mother and convince the Kieran the alien, who is monitoring all the paralyzed humans, to break the mental connection and free all the victims, including his partner Finola Jones, from the mental grip of the alien entity that has materialized the body of Kieran Vandeburg.

Thankfully, the strategy works.  Mary Vandeberg, all the victims and Finola Jones are released from the alien mental control. The alien that was materialized as Kieran to relieve the grief stricken Mary, did not mean to harm anyone. Kieran is last seen in the field near the accident and then disappears.

The same cannot be said for Anson Ash who clearly has ulterior motivations and has somehow learned about the aliens artifacts and their power. At this juncture, we are uncertain how Anson has obtained his insight into the aliens, but it is absolutely clear that he committed to obtain more of them, and use the alien artifacts for what are certain to be less than honorable, likely political purposes.

As the episode winds down, during a conference call with Craig Maddox, Brfayn Jones and Finola Jones learns that the body found embedded in the concrete pillar is an ex SAS agent connected George Jones (Tyrone Benskin), Finola’s father!

The final sequences reveal the startling truth, Bryan Beneventi is ordered by Craig Maddox to not inform Finola Jones and MI6 that George Jones is directly involved with the plot to appropriate the alien artifacts for their nefarious purposes.

The final shot visually illustrates the motivation of Maddox and the CIA, the round alien objects we have witnessed previously are being reconstructed in a top secret hanger. As camera pans back, the objects are clearly alien escape pods that have crashed to Earth, and there are more than one of them being rebuilt inside the CIA hanger!

V Series: “Mother’s Day” Season 2 Episode 10 with Series Secrets, Decker, Hobbes AND WonderCon Images Courtesy of Warner Brothers!

    Hello V Series Fans,

The season finale of V Series, “Mother’s Day”, was full of surprising moments. Notably, the deaths of twohttp://abc.go.com/shows/v prominent characters; Ryan Nichols (Morris Chestnut), Tyler Evans (Logan Huffman), and the apparent demise of Diana (Jane Badler).

This episode also introduced a new character, Lars Tremont, portrayed by Marc Singer. Singer is no newcomer to the V story line having played freedom fighter Mike Donovan in the original 1980’s V dual epic mini-series. For those who have not seen the episode, Lars Tremont is the leader of Project Aries. Project Aries is a secret new government organization monitoring the Visitors.

    http://www.warnerbros.com

The episode opened with Erica Evans (Elizabeth Mitchell) having a nightmare of Anna Visitor (Morena Baccarin) sitting on the edge of her bed holding a gun. That is something nobody wants to awaken to! Anna told Erica that only she could understand what it felt like to make decisions and hard choices.

In order to survive, she must be devoid of all humanity like herself. This entire season we have watched as Erica struggled with her decisions since taking control of the Fifth Column.

The Fifth Column orchestrated a fake kidnapping to lure Anna out into the open where Lisa Visitor (Laura Vandervoort) would render the final blow. However, once again, they have underestimated Anna.

    V Series S2x10 - Lisa is kidnapped

Sensing that she was being set up, Anna played on Lisa’s human emotions. She told her that she did not realize how much the human skin had affected her until Lisa was kidnapped and she was faced with the fear of losing her. Lisa could not go through with it. One can imagine the surprise when Lisa and Anna walked out of the warehouse together. Erica questioned Lisa but she lets Erica know that she is just as merciless as her mother before meeting with the ruthless bitch Anna.

On board the mother ship, Ryan and Joshua Visitor (Mark Hildreth) free imprisoned Queen Diana (Jane Badler) from her dungeon. Erica called to let Ryan know that Anna was still alive and to get off the ship. Joshua urged Diana to go back to her cell. However, she wanted to assume her rightful place as queen. While Marcus Visitor (Christopher Shyer) apparently stays loyal on the surface, Anna asks Joshua to gather her people. Diana told her people that the human soul was a gift, and that they should embrace emotion and humanity.

V Series S2x10 - Who will Marcus be loyal too
Erica also told them that Anna was ill-equipped to be queen and that she had imprisoned Diana for 15 years. Just when we thought Diana was going to be queen again, she is stabbed with a tail through her heart. Not just any tail, it was Anna’s tail! Diana’s dying words to Anna were “ you have doomed us all.” Evil Anna Visitor (Morena Baccarin) turned to Lisa and said “that is how you kill your mother.”

Lisa Visitor was taken to the same dungeon that housed her grandmother Queen Diana while Anna tried to use Visitor technology to find out who was responsible for Lisa’s abduction while watching the kidnapping video. Anna discovered that Chad Decker (Scott Wolf) was one of the kidnappers so she sent for him. That is the very last we see of Chad Decker for now. I have hope that Anna needs Chad for good publicity. Or maybe she plans to have Chad killed for his suspected treachery?

    V Series S2x10 - Chad is summoned

Joshua insisted that Ryan leave the ship before Anna could get to him, but he would not leave without his daughter Amy (Cassidy Mahler). Ryan went to Amy’s room to persuade her to leave the ship. Amy would not leave with her father because of Anna’s lies. Amy saw Anna as her mother, and she would not let Ryan hurt her. As hard as it was to watch, Amy told Ryan that “you left me here to die.” Amy then killed her father with her tail. It was difficult to see this long time character’s demise by his own child.

    http://abc.go.com/shows/v

    http://abc.go.com/shows/v

Erica warned Tyler to get off of the ship, and she told him the truth about the V’s. Tyler told her he would not leave until he heard it from Lisa herself. In the mean time, Anna, Marcus (Christopher Shyer), and Joshua discussed the queen egg Anna kept. She kept the egg in case Lisa was unable to breed with Tyler. Anna watched in amazement as the new egg hatched and her new daughter was born. Anna instructed Joshua “put skin on my new daughter, and make sure she looks exactly like Lisa”.

Poor Tyler went to have relations with Lisa not knowing it was the substitute provided by Anna. Evil Anna wasted no time and started the breeding process. It appeared that Lisa’s punishment was to be in the same dungeon as her grandmother. Anna made sure Lisa would have a front row seat to Tyler and the other Lisa’s breeding.

After they mated, Tyler was killed. This will be very hard for Erica to deal with in the future because her biggest mission was to get Tyler away from Anna. Or will Anna make a new Tyler from the reptile brood conceived by Lisa the Second?

    http://abc.go.com/shows/v

V Series S2x10 - Lisa watches in horror

Erica went to fifth column headquarters and discovered that Kyle Hobbes (Charles Mesure) had disappeared. It is a shame we did not get to see what happened to this character. Erica returned home only to be kidnaped! At this point, I was sure the V’s had her. When they took the hood off of her, there is a man standing in the shadows. Erica said “now just untie one hand and it will be a fair fight.”

V Series S2x10 - Erica Evans discovers Hobbes is missing

This scene is where our new character comes in, Lars Tremont. He untied Erica and introduced himself. Lars explained to Erica that he is the head of a secret government organization, Project Aries. They have been following the V’s for sometime. They know that the V’s are not there on friendly terms. Erica discovered that A.D. Paul Kendrick (Roark Critchlow) and Chris Bolling (Jay Karnes) also worked for Project Aries. For awhile it seemed that A.D. Paul was working with the V’s. However, he was not.

As the season finale ended, we saw Anna ready to bliss all humanity. Marcus Visitor (Christopher Shyer) warned her that it might kill her, but Anna insisted she try. Blood poured down Anna’s face as she tried to bliss the humans. Amy saw this and said “mother stop! I will do it for you.” In return, Anna said “you are truly a miracle my child” is a scene similar to the miracle child in V The Final Battle.

V Series S2x10 - Any will do the blissing

Project Aries then discovered that something was terribly wrong and Erica went above ground. What she found was something that Anna had been trying to do for two seasons. Erica saw that the humans are blissed and looking up at the mother ship. It was sad to see that Father Jack Landry (Joel Gretsch) was also blissed. This might change his position in fifth column. If there will even be a fifth column since Project Aries is now discovered.

V Series S2x10 - The Earth is blissed

V Series S2x10 - Father Landry is blissed

Mother’s Day was rightfully named. We saw a Erica try to protect her son, Tyler. Anna killed her mother, Diana and Amy protected her step mother, Anna. Mother’s Day reminded us, that as humans, we protect our children. Anna is not a human. Therefore, she killed her mother, and threw her child in the dungeon like the vicious reptile that she is. In the last few seconds we observe the Visitor fleet coming to Earth!

V Series S2x10 - Visitor fleet comes after blissing
Diana’s speech about the human soul, being a gift they should embrace, was never more evident than in this episode. Amy is half human. Therefore, she protected her mother. It will be very interesting to see how Amy juggles her human emotions with her V side. We are left with all humans blissed, and the rightful queen, Diana, apparently killed. Or was she?

If you look at the last few second of the clip included below courtesy of ABC via Hulu, Diana is apparently still breathing! Could the real Queen return in season three? This is a huge cliffhanger. We must wait until next season to find out what will be the fate of humanity.

WonderCon-2011-Marc Singer Elizabeth Mitchel Scott Rosenbaum

WormholeRiders News Agency was covering WonderCon 2011 extensively this past weekend. In attendance during the convention were V Series celebrities Elizabeth Mitchell, Marc Singer, and Warner Brothers executive producer Scott Rosenbaum. They talked about V Series season two hinting to what we might expect in a season three if approved for production.

As discussed at the panel and in the Warner Brothers Press Room, there may be a new alien race next season which could unite the Visitors and citizens of Earth to fight a new enemy! Or will this new alien race be friends to the Visitors or foes? This will definitely change the dynamic of the show and is an exciting development to contemplate.

WonderCon 2011 V Series - Exec producer Scott Rosenbaum

Hinted at during the panel, V Series may have a new character (if a third season is approved) played by legendary actor Michael Ironside. As all fans recall, Ironside was in the original show as Ham Tyler. Amy will stop this rapid growth development in her mid 20’s. The V Series panel also talked about the mystery of what happened to Kyle Hobbes (Charles Mesure)?

V Series S2x10 - Chad Deckers fate is uncertain
Like Chad Decker (Scott Wolf), Kyle Hobbes was called back to the mother ship in a scene cut from the finale. As discussed at WonderCon 2011 will evil Anna Visitor (Morena Baccarin) kill them both? While Mr. Rosenbaum indicated that more characters “may” not be eliminated, the ultimate fate of Chad Decker and  Kyle Hobbes is yet to be determined!

WHR will be back with much more about V Series and WonderCon. For now we leave you for now with a couple more WonderCon images courtesy of Warner Brothers. Thank you WB!

  • V Series: Season Two Episode Nine “Devil In A Blue Dress” Another Perspective

Click to visit V Series on ABC!

Heyla V Series fans, loyalists, fifth column and resistance:

And welcome to my review of V Series, season two, episode nine entitled “Devil in a Blue Dress.” This episode was the penultimate episode, and it was pretty terrific!

Because I am stillClick to visit Warner Brothers Entertainment! new at this whole reviewing thing I have enjoyed trying out different approaches to it. This week I decided to try out another new approach. I hope you like. 

    1. It Happened in Diana’s Lair

Marcus Visitor (Christopher Shyer) entered Queen Diana’s (Jane Badler) dungeon lair; he appeared dumbfounded to see her alive. I imagined that due to his utter shock at seeing Diana his logic sensors shut off completely, (something which has happened to me quite often).

Marcus asked for her to state her purpose in seeing him. If his logic sensors had been working I do not think he would have had to ask that. I suppose she could have asked to see him because after fifteen years she finally got lonely and decided that she missed him, or maybe she had just made a fresh batch of oatmeal raisin cookies and she wanted him to taste test for her. *giggles*

    V Series S2x09 Dumbfounded Marcus

Of course, Diana replied that she was seeking his loyalty to their species, but really she meant herself. Marcus was still loyal to Anna at that moment. I do not think he was ready to pledge his allegiance to his former queen. (Could she be his mother?) He even threatened to tell Anna that he spoke with Diana, but he does not do it.

Diana talked about Anna’s emotions claiming that pride, Anna’s first emotion, was what caused her to overthrow her. She said that Anna’s scream on Red Sky Day was so loud that she heard it all the way down in the bowels of the ship. Okay, she did not say that exactly, but she was aware of it?

Marcus stuck up for Anna saying that this was an isolated incident, and that he had seen no further signs of emotion in her. Diana was smart enough not to argue, and instead chose to plant seeds of doubt inside of his head knowing that those seeds would sprout into suspicion and second guessing of Anna’s every move.

    V Series S2x09 Queen Diana

Princess Lisa Visitor (Laura Vandervoort) saw her mother Anna Visitor (Morena Baccarin) blissing Tyler Evans (Logan Huffman); she was so upset by this that she went back down to Diana’s dungeon lair for the second time that day. The first time she went down she demanded that her grandmother tell her about Concordia.

It was at this time she discovered that Dr. Sidney Miller (Brett Harrison)  was about to blow up tens of thousands of people, and why she told Ryan who then went on to save them all, sort of). Diana was surprised to hear that Anna could bliss humans; I wondered if she was jealous because this was something that she could never do?

She was also very interested to learn of Lisa’s human resistance friends. Diana told Lisa that they needed to work together with these humans so that they could all accomplish the one goal they had in common -dethroning Anna. So now you know that if this plan of theirs succeeds that it all began in Diana’s lair.

V Series S2x09 Lisa talks to Diana

    2. Anna, bliss, and humans:

Queen Anna Visitor (Morena Baccarin) decided to try blissing a human. Where did this human woman come from? Was she a live aboard or one of the people they have kidnapped for experimentation? Joshua Visitor (Mark Hildreth) and Marcus were with her at the time. Marcus was worried about Anna trying this because apparently when Diana tried the same thing it almost killed her. Anna, showing off that pride her mother spoke of, replied that her mother was weak. Joshua argued with Marcus, seeming annoyed that Marcus was trying to stand in the way of their victory over the humans. Anna yelled at them both to stop. I loved how emotional all three of them were in this scene while they were trying to rid emotions out of this unfortunate human woman

The procedure was not easy or pretty, it involved a lot of screaming by both the human and Anna, and caused the Queen to bleed quite un-regally from her eyes, while losing the strength to stand. But in the end it worked, the woman was so blissed out that she swallowed the immolation pill given her by Anna, even after claiming she understood that swallowing it would kill her.

I was quite horrified yet impressed by Anna’s victory. I liked the idea of her being able to control humans through her bliss. Anna, who seemed to be rocking on the edge of madness, asked Joshua if this meant she could now mass bliss the human populace. Joshua was not certain and Marcus reminded her that blissing this one woman almost killed her. Marcus did not think that Anna should continue to pursue this plan, but Anna was quite drunk with power in this moment and she commanded Joshua to find a way to make it work.

V Series S2x09 Freaky victory moment

V Series S2x09 Woman is blissed

Anna decided to bliss Tyler and was also successful. This blissing (I imagine) was less traumatic because of the high amounts of phosphorus in his system was less noisy and traumatic. However Anna still bled from her eyes. And the experience was quite draining for her. This human blissing thing is either going to get easier over time or it will be the death of her.

V Series S2x09 Tyler being blissed

    3. Anna and Little Amy:

Before Anna attempted to bliss a human she talked to Joshua and Marcus about Visitor Fifth columnist Ryan Nichol’s (Morris Chestnut) daughter, named Amy, who although half human still accepted Anna’s bliss. Anna was encouraged that Amy’s human side did not reject her bliss and she commanded Joshua to find out why.

Joshua remarked that these tests would be intrusive and that they could harm her. Now the last time Joshua remarked that doing something to the then unnamed hybrid could harm or even kill her Anna had coldly responded then she will die serving her queen. But this time Anna actually thought twice about it, Marcus reminded her how important her being able to control the humans was and that they were running out of time, so then she gave Joshua permission to go ahead with it. But still it was progress.

V Series S2x09 Anna thinks twice

In the beginning Anna called Amy a mongrel and wanted her killed. It was only when she realized that Amy could be used as a way to control Ryan did she allow her to live, and then she made her sick on purpose as another means of controlling Ryan. She recently began growth experimentation on her, growing her from a baby to a toddler to a pre-school aged child until this episode where she appeared to be around eight years old. Anna had not been at all kind to this child, but even so she did appear to be warming towards her slightly. She was playing her mother, after all. Not that Anna was ever much of a mother to her real daughter, Lisa, but with her new emotions she was thawing slightly?

Joshua later told Anna he had learned the reason for little Amy’s ability to accept Anna’s bliss easily was that her father had given Valerie Stevens (Lourdes Benedicto) her real mother phosphorus while pregnant with her, and that the phosphorus had given her heightened abilities. Anna was quite excited to learn more about what Amy could do. (Did she just have a proud mother flash or was it simply evil scientist excitement over discovering her latest experiment could do a new trick?)

V Series S2x09 What else can Amy do

    V Series S2x09 Amy Hybrid

Later Anna was recuperating on the sofa in her lounge when Amy entered. She smiled at Anna, called her Mommy, which is so sad, and then tried to give her bliss to make her feel better. Anna was surprisingly gentle with her, and she was puzzled as to why Amy would think to do that. Amy replied simply that she loved her. If that cold cold bitch had a heart then that scene was the closest she had ever come to showing it. She hugged her hybrid- stolen daughter, and almost seemed to enjoy it.

I doubt that anyone had ever spoken those words to her; and that previously if they had they would have been skinned, but little Amy just got away with something that I don’t think anyone else on this planet could.

V Series S2x09 Anna and Amy

One note of interest is that Marcus saw and I believe that those seeds of doubt planted in him by Diana sprouted a little bit. I would not be at all surprised to see him helping everyone try to take Anna down in next week’s episode

    4. Sid the Science Guy and What He Did:

Dr. Sidney Miller (Bret Harrison) figured out that Concordia was actually Anna’s plan to build landing sites for her invading space ships. He called all of his resistance club members for a meeting. Kyle Hobbes (Charles Mesure) wondered how they could destroy each and every Concordia landing site, because News Anchor Chad Decker (Scott Wolf) informed them all that over five hundred of these were being built all over the world.

We observe FBI Agent Erica Evans (Elizabeth Mitchell), who was the brains of the operation as well as their fearless leader pointed out that they did not need to destroy these landing sites they just needed to prevent them from being built. She proposed that they blow up the blue energy reactor at the New York Concordia site, hoping that this would cause a public panic making people question how safe the blue energy was. If people and the government believed blue energy was unsafe then they would not allow the landing sites to be built.

V Series S2x09 Resistance Club meeting

Sid, the science guy, figured out how to make the blue energy balls (that Lisa stole for them) to work, and how to use them to safely sabotage the Concordia site reactor. His friends were surprised but proud. They were so proud that they made him dress up as a construction worker and then sneak into the Concordia building site so that he could do the sabotage work.

Poor Sid was really scared, but his mean friends made him do it anyway. (Well he was the only one who knew how to do it, and they were trying to prevent a worldwide alien invasion) They even made him go in alone. But Sid was very brave, and he countered his fears by doing what he did not want to do. I was so proud of him!

V Series S2x09 Sid the science guy

V Series S2x09 Sid the scared construction worker

Lisa told Diana who told Lisa who called Ryan who followed Sid into the blue energy reactor room so that he could tell him. Erica, Hobbes, and ex-priest Jack Landry (Joel Gretsch) saw Ryan and they followed him to. Sid activated the tiny blue energy balls given to them by Lisa, and then he picked up a remote detonator.

Ryan entered and he told Sid that he had to stop what he was doing, but Sid, who remembered that Ryan was a bad guy, did not believe him. Ryan told Sid that there are two kinds of blue energy, inert, and weaponized. Ryan asked Sid if he was one-hundred percent positive that he did not weaponize his blue energy balls. Then Ryan tried to tackle Sid and Sid accidentally hits the trigger detonating his blue bomb.

After the blue energy reactor debacle Sid was playing around with his infra-red binoculars the ones he made to be able to see blue energy, and he made a discovery that they were surrounded by tons of other mother ships, not just the New York one. Sid discovered that the invading army was not on its way, but that it was already there. Way to go Sid! High five!

V Series S2x09 Those are ships

    5. Ryan a Hero?

    And

6 Erica Makes a Choice and Regrets It:

Erica, Hobbes, and Jack arrived right after Sid accidentally hit the detonator, with guns pointed at Ryan. Ryan told them all that they needed to deactivate their bomb because if they did not it would blow up everything within one-hundred square miles killing tens of thousands of people. His ex-friends did not believe him, so Ryan told them that Lisa sent him there. He asked how else would he have known where to find them? (He would not admit to stalking all of them)

Erica, as leader of the fifth column had a difficult choice to make. Jack, of course was telling her that they had to shut the reactor down because Sid did not know to deactivate the bomb. Hobbes, of course was shouting at her to not believe Ryan. There were a few very tense moments are the reactor was shooting pretty sparks and getting ready to blow. In the end Erica chose to shut it down. I definitely thought that she made the right decision. Ryan managed to shut it down using his mad V hacking skills. I truly believe that Anna chose the wrong profession for him. He may have been bred to be a hunter, and she may have thought that he did a good job, but he was way better at using computers to blow things up or using them to prevent things from blowing up, in my humble estimation, at least.

V Series S2x09 Ryan the hero hacker
Ryan was a hero that day. Was his heroic action on this day enough to redeem his previous actions of betraying his friends and getting Eli Cohan (Oded Fehr), the previous leader of the worldwide fifth column network killed? I do not believe it was, but still he did do a good deed. And if I can forgive Hobbes and feel no ill will towards him, then I should at least try to give Ryan credit when it is deserved. Although technically Diana and Lisa did just as much in their own way to save the day as Ryan did. And then there is the always the question of did they really save the day or did they condemn the world?

Shutting down the blue energy reactor caused a blackout. The humans believed it was a malfunction in their own power grid. Anna was told the truth by Marcus, but instead of having him confess this to the humans she had him offer blue energy to get power up and running again, which then had the opposite effect that Erica wanted to have and caused the public to cry for the Concordia sites to be built even faster. Erica was sooo not happy about that! She broke a chair and said that they should have blown the site. She said that they were not taking enough risks and that they had just handed Anna another victory. Jack pointed out that had they done that they all would have died, but Erica was too angry and disappointed to feel happy that they were not all dead.

V Series S2x09 Erica is not happy

7 . There is a Solution / Fifth Column and Resistance Working Together:

Lisa went to Erica’s house for dinner. Tyler was supposed to have gone, but he was too busy being blissful to remember. Lisa gave Erica the bad news. (Erica was very upset. She said that they were now defeated if Anna could bliss humans). But Lisa told her no, that there was still a way to win if Erica was willing to take a risk. Hmm, I am sensing a theme here!

V Series S2x09 Erica is not blissful

V Series S2x09 Lisa brings bad news and hope

Erica brought Ryan and Lisa to a resistance / fifth column meeting. Hobbes wanted to shoot Ryan, but Erica told him that even though she did not like or forgive Ryan that they needed him. She told her team that they needed help desperately and they needed to take risks to do it. Then Lisa turned on her V holo communicator thingamajig, and a lovely vision of Diana appeared. Diana shared her story and told them that they needed to work together to overthrow Anna. Erica agreed, and next week is going to be so amazing!!!!!

And welcome to my review of V Series episode eight, entitled “Uneasy Lies the Head”. I will admit to not quite understanding this title. Generally, I am pretty good at figuring out how the title fits in, but I went into this episode hoping for a beheading of some kind. *giggles* Oh well! It was still a terrific episode that left me wanting more. 

Okay, so we see a female live aboard being tortured in Anna Visitor’s (Morena Baccarin) needle machine. The needle machine’s purpose is to extract one unique strain of DNA from every carefully selected specimen. This particular strain is the finest genetic material mankind has to offer!

V Series S2x08 Anna enjoys torturing humans

Visitor Joshua, (Mark Hildreth), was supervising the DNA extraction along with Anna. Once the DNA is extracted the two of them follow a technician across the hall to a new super cool looking V techochine that they are using to mix and store, all of the DNA they are stealing. Joshua tells Anna that the final batch of DNA material will arrive tomorrow. Joshua actually said that the final batch of live aboards would arrive tomorrow, but I am sure that is what Anna heard.

    V Series S2x08 New V technochine

Next we see team Erica’s fabulous five all together for a meeting in Kyle Hobbes (Charles Mesure) home sweet bunker home. FBI agent, Erica Evans (Elizabeth Mitchell)) arrives and quickly takes the reins. WNT News anchorman, Chad Decker (Scott Wolf) is there, former priest Jack Landry (Joel Gretsch)), who is still staying with Hobbes, is present, and so is Dr Sidney Miller (Brett Harrison).

    V Series S2x08 The fabulous 5

Erica Evans, acting like any boss asks if their internet connection with their out of town comrades-at-arms is secure. Dr. Sidney Miller replies, “Nah, I thought I would run this little pow-wow through Facebook.” I love his jokes; he and Hobbes are both so funny! Kyle Hobbes, who is playing with a camera (Like I said last week that guy cannot sit still), informs Erica that it is one thing to get hired as the replacement leader of deceased Eli Cohan’s fifth column network, but it is another to prove herself with them. Erica thinks Kyle Hobbes is being overly dramatic.

Then Jack Landry and Chad Decker feel left out, so they chime in and say that Hobbes is right, she has a lot of new responsibility for a global network of people. As if Erica didn’t already know that? I am sure she was just playing it low key because if she really thought about what her new position meant she would freak out. At least that is what I would do.

They assemble Eli Cohan’s surviving lieutenants on the line and then Erica and the gang explain to them their plan which involves corrupting the DNA of some of the participants from Anna’s final batch with DNA bombs. (Awesome name!)

Chad is going to compile a master list with the names of every participant to distribute to Eli’s lieutenants because they want a DNA bomb inside of at least one live aboard participant on every ship in the world. The bomb will destroy the reproductive functions of any DNA it encounters, meaning that the DNA cannot be reproduced. What they hope will happen is that the corrupted DNA will mix in with the rest of the DNA Anna has collected and that it will ruin all of it. I think that this is a great plan; it is very bold and imaginative.

    V Series S2x08 Eli's lieutenants
Eli’s lieutenants love her plan, but they tell her that it will let Anna know she has not destroyed the fifth column like she thinks she did by killing their leader. This attack will tell Anna that there is a new leader, which means that Anna will again be going after them with a vengeance. She will also likely want to go after the leader before anyone else, and so they ask her if she is ready to carry this burden.

Erica says that she is prepared to do whatever it takes. Dr. Sidney Miller tells everyone that the closest place to get the virus they need is at Jameson Labs, which they keep under lock and key. Jack asks how they are going to get the virus, and Erica replies that they will steal it. Naturally Hobbes is impressed.

V Series S2x08 Hobbes is impressed

Switch up to the mother ship, where Joshua is telling Anna that there is a situation with the twenty-nine breeding candidates. That morning in Beijing, one of the boys collapsed and died, and then a short time later another one died in Johannesburg. It seems to be some sort of deadly virus that the Visitors have not yet been able to identify. Anna wants to know how the other boys are; Joshua says they are fine as far as he knows. She then asks worriedly about Tyler. Joshua assures her that Tyler has shown no signs of illness during pilot training. “Take every precaution, determine the cause, and find a cure,” Anna urges Joshua.

V Series s2x08 Anna is worried about Tyler

Visitor Joshua (Mark Hildreth) says that fortunately the Johannesburg boy was touring the Johannesburg ship when he collapsed. His corpse is being sent to Joshua so that can conduct an autopsy. Anna tells him they need to keep every breeding option for Lisa open, and then Joshua reminds her that Rafael is the most viable backup in case her precious Tyler’s phosphorus does not get up to speed, but Lisa rejected him. Anna says it is okay, her breeding egg is nearing maturity so if Lisa will not put out then she will be dealt with like any other traitor.

Anna calls Lisa Visitor (Laura Vandervoort) to her, shows her the recording of her sending Rafael away. She tells her that she will be fertile soon, and that a lot is going to be expected of her. Anna needs to be reassured that when the time comes Lisa will make the right choices. Lisa, doing a good job of showing no emotion, tells her mother she has made plans with Rafael and that this time she will perform all of her duties.

V Series S2x08 - Lisa called on the carpet by Anna!

Thomas Visitor (Martin Cummins) enters and asks for a private audience, he informs Anna that a complication has arisen with one of the new “Live Aboards”, a tiny little girl by the name of Jennifer Hartswell (Kennedi Clements). She has a uniquely high immune system that they have never seen in any other human. Her mother, Melissa, has been invited to live aboard (of course, there is no way any sane mother would allow her four-year-old child to go live alone on an alien ship). the mother Melissa Hartswell (Miranda Frigon) is apparently reluctant to move up. Anna instructs Thomas to do whatever it takes to alleviate Melissa’s concerns. Thomas says that Melissa wants to meet her, and Anna quickly agrees. She will handle her mother-to-mother.

V Series S2x08 Meet Jennifer Hartswell

V Series S2x08 Jennifer meets Anna

    V Series S2x08 Anna from Jennifer's perspective

Melissa Hartswell (Miranda Frigon) and Jennifer (Kennedi Clements) are brought up to the ship, where Anna does her best imitation of a kind and caring individual. I love the camera angles here, where we have a chance to see Anna from Jennifer’s perspective. If I had been Jennifer Anna would have scared me too.

Melissa is under the false assumption, that she herself is the invitee, and that the Visitors are only inviting Jennifer along to be nice, so she tells Anna that she does not want her living aboard the ship because there are no other children for her to play with. Anna, who is basically willing to do anything at this point to get this child’s DNA, tells Melissa that she herself has a daughter, who is the same age as Jennifer.

I thought Anna should have said that she had another daughter she was keeping secret from the public, because in season one, episode ten “Fruition” Anna announced to the world that Lisa was her daughter. But maybe Melissa was not watching the news that day, and she did not hear the announcement. Since we learned last week that Ryan Nichols (Morris Chestnut) cover had been blown, and Anna had lost her hold over him with his daughter (Cassia Mae Brown) she had no more use for him.

V Series S2x08 - Ryan views his daughter with Anna

So in this week’s episode Ryan is given one final visit with his daughter, when they come to take her back one of the guards tries to shoot him with a really cool laser gun. Ryan fights back and ends up shooting the guard, who goes up in flames.

Erica and her gang break into the Jameson Labs building, wearing black ski masks and carrying Taser guns. Erica tasers a security guard and they steal his Identification card, which they use for entering through locked doors. Hobbes takes out another guard. They enter the correct laboratory where Sid finds the virus they need, but then a third guard enters with a gun.

    V Series S2x08 Guard has a gun

The guard shoots Hobbes, Jack tackles him to the floor, the guard is trying to reach for his gun again and then Erica shoots him with the gun that they took off the first guard she shot. Jack freaks out, but then discovers that the guard is wearing a bullet proof vest. Then they grab the virus and leave.

They go back to Hobbes place; Jack takes care of Kyle’s bullet wound. I would like to know when Jack received his medical training. I find it interesting that he has these skills, yet he chose to become a priest. Was he forced to learn them while serving in Iraq? Because he has such a helper’s heart I could easily see him joining in the fray and setting to work tending the wounded while he was doing his priestly duties.

V Series S2x08 - Dr. Sidney Miller in bio-hazard tent

Dr. Sidney Miller is set up in in a bio-hazard suit and tent so that he can prepare the virus to destroy the reproductive functions of any DNA it encounters. Erica tells him to hurry it up because John Fierro (Zak Santiago) has a jet waiting to transport the virus throughout the world. Jack compliments Erica on her shooting abilities, but he does not really mean it. He is upset with her for shooting the guard.

Erica does not feel sorry, and she tells him so. They had a tight schedule with 28 jets waiting on them to transport the virus before the “Live Aboards” go up to the ships. She says she took the shot because she could not risk failure. Jack is still upset though, and watching Hobbes and Erica flirting with each other does not make him feel any better.

Thomas tells Anna that Ryan is not dead she tells him to send out guards to search for him. She is not too concerned because she does not believe that he has anywhere to run to. Lisa meets with Rafael (Charlie Carrick)
) she is kissing him when Tyler Evans ((Logan Huffman)) walks in on them. He and Rafael get into a tussle, and then Rafael starts bleeding from the eyes, and this disgusting pink gloppy stuff comes out of his mouth before he collapses to the floor. Rafael has been affected by the same illness that is affecting the other boys with the missing DNA.

V Series S2x08 Tyler did not do that
Back at resistance headquarters, Chad has brought them the list of all the people moving on board the next day, he has already sent copies out to the other twenty-eight cities. Erica has to choose someone quickly from this city to infect. Sid walks in, announces that the virus is on its way out and remarks that he hopes the virus will remain stable when it finally interacts with its victims. Jack wants to know what he is talking about. Sid explains the virus is untested, and that there is a chance of serious side effects ……. Even death. Jack does not like this.

V Series S2x08 - Jack Landry is not happy about killing

He accuses Erica of lying to him about the virus having no side effects. She told him it would not hurt anyone. Erica replies that if she told him the truth he would not have gone with them that far. Jack says, she is right, that he would not have. He does not want to help her any further, so Erica says that helping them is an order. They decide on a man named Will Lerner (Michael Karl Richards) to be their target. They track him down at his daily coffee shop. Erica flirts with him and slips the virus into his cup. She has to wait around for a while to give the virus time to work into his bloodstream. I believe that they are doing this on the morning that Will is moving onto the New York Mother ship.

Joshua tells Anna that Rafael is on life support, but is still alive. He explains that the stripped ladders in the boys DNA is collapsing, which is what is making them sick. Anna orders him to fix it, but Joshua says he cannot. The DNA mixture is the only solution. Until they acquire the last of the DNA from the “Live Aboards” they could lose all of the boys.

The Virus gets distributed throughout the world, and is successfully injected into one live aboard per twenty-nine ships. Will Lerner arrives on the New York mother ship; he is just standing in line being processed for entry when one of those possible side effects Sid talked about hits him, and he collapses. He is taken to the medical bay where Joshua informs Anna and Thomas that a virus has been introduced into his system, a virus that is altering his DNA.

V Series S2x08 Will Lerner arrives on the ship
Anna got really lucky with the timing here. If Mr. Lerner had not fallen ill when he did then Erica’s plan would have worked, his altered DNA would have gone into the mix, and it would all have been destroyed. Once Anna discovers that this is the plan, she orders every live aboard on every ship to be screened again, when the infected one is discovered they are to be healed, their DNA abstracted, and then they are to be killed. Anna says her only plausible explanation for these deaths is to say that they were fifth column terrorists who died doing terrorist stuff. Thomas points out that this action will draw the public’s attention back to the fifth column, and that it will effectively announce to the world that they are still active.

    V Series S2x08 Anna foils Erica's plan

Anna growls that she does not have any other choice. She then threatens the unconscious Lerner, saying that if he wants to die for his cause then she shall grant him his wish. Poor Will! I doubt that Anna’s orders would have changed any even if she did know he was not fifth column.

Ryan finds Lisa, asks her to help him, she takes him to Queen Diana Visitor (Jane Badler) Diana remembers him, and agrees to help if he agrees to help her at some later date. She says she built these secret escape pods that are undetectable by both human and Visitor radar. She was imprisoned before she had a chance to use one. Ryan mentions his daughter; Diana wants to know what he is talking about. He says her mother was human, that she is a hybrid. Diana thought this was impossible. She is excited by the possibilities. Ryan says that Anna made her sick, and that only her bliss can cure her. Diana says that she has bliss, and that she can use it to help.

V Series S2x08 - Diana shares secrets with Lisa!

V Series S2x08 - Ryan and Lisa confer with Queen Diana!
Chad gets the news about their plan failing, first, and then he announces it on his show. I think it is sweet that Erica, and Jack, and Hobbes all got together to show their love and support to Chad by watching his news broadcast live. Eli’s lieutenants are watching too, through the computer, and they are not pleased because they think that Erica’s plan failed. But Erica responds optimistically that although the plan seemed to fail on the surface, that in reality they did win a small victory by forcing Anna to admit to the world that the fifth column was still out there. She says, “We still have to stop Anna’s breeding problem, and we will! “ When the lieutenants ask what their next move will be she replies, “We stay on the offensive, and we don’t stop until we have won. “

Jack is still sad, so Erica asks Hobbes to take Sid out so she and Jack can be alone. He comments that 29 innocent people died, and he asks Erica why she will not acknowledge that. Erica explains that they are in a war and that in a war people die. She tells Jack that if she had this to do again she would. She attempts to leave; Jack grabs her arm, and says he refuses to believe that there is not a part of her that does not see the tragedy in this. Erica coldly looks him in the eye and says that the only tragedy here is that the DNA bombs failed. Jack gives her a look of sadness and confusion, as if he no longer recognizes the person she has become.

From my perspective it appears that, of course Erica is no longer the person she once was, she has changed, has been forced to by the circumstances around her, by the responsibility that has been placed upon her shoulders. In the beginning she tried to hold on, tried to protect the innocent, to harm only the guilty. But then she lost Joe and she lost Tyler, and now she knows that the only way to win this war is to do anything they can no matter who gets hurt, because now she recognizes that people will, but If she lets the Visitors win then the entire world will be lost.

V Series S2x08 Erica has cold eyes

V Series S2x08 Jack no longer recognizes her

Apparently Diana’s secret escape pods are located in the ceiling of Anna’s office. Lisa distracts Anna in another room while Ryan uses the pod to escape. Poor little Jennifer Hartswell is the last human to have her DNA extracted (at least they put her to sleep before they did it), once this is completed Anna orders Joshua to begin injecting all of the ”missing ladder boys” immediately, beginning with Tyler Evans. I think that because Anna has extended so much time and effort into that boy it makes letting go of him difficult. Not that she would hesitate to kill him, if it became apparent that he truly was useless.

Lisa goes down to visit with Diana. She thanks her for helping Ryan, Diana talks about emotions and how those Visitors who embrace them are stronger than those without them. Lisa does not understand, Diana says she will. And then she sends Lisa to a secret ally aboard ship. Lisa heads straight for the medical bay where she sends the technicians away so that she can speak to him alone. She tells him that Diana is alive. Who is he? He is Marcus Marcus Visitor (Christopher Shyer)!

V Series S2x08 Diana has an ally

Erica is home alone, thinking about stuff. She calls Jack, but Jack does not answer his phone. Erica was totally reaching out to him, and he missed his opportunity. Oh well, Erica and Hobbes are a better couple, anyway, since they are on the same side of the anti-ideological fence now.

Kyle Hobbes shows up at Erica’s door with a bottle. He tells her that a leader’s nights can get lonely with all of the second guessing, but he just wanted to tell her that she did good today! (Awe! Hobbes, you are so sweet!) Erica thinks so too, and invites him in. They have a drink from whatever is inside that bottle, scotch maybe? Hobbes asks Erica how she is holding up and she says she does not know, but is trying to stay tough. Hobbes tells her he understands and then tells her about Sarah, sort of, he says that he was in love once, but then she died. He looks so vulnerable and adorable here.

V Series S2x08 Adorable vulnerable Hobbes

He promises that they are going to get Tyler back. I am sure Sarah must also be in the back of his mind, and I bet there is a plan lurking back there that includes rescuing her too. But it is likely pretty far back there because I am certain that during this moment of time he is thinking of one woman and one woman alone. Hobbes kisses that woman, a beautiful moment that leads to other fun beautiful things. I personally was very happy because I had been waiting all season for it to happen.

    V Series S2x08 The kiss

The episode ends with a very creepy scene where Anna undresses Tyler (she unbuttons his coat and takes it off for him) and then personally gives him the shot of the added DNA. She tells him it is to prepare his body for deep space flight, and that she would never harm him, or any other human being. (That line made me laugh for a while. In between shivers of terror because of the creepy look she has on her face when she says it!)

  • V Series Episode 7 “Birth Pangs” – A Second Detailed Perspective

Click to visit V Series on ABC!Heyla, V Series fans,

And welcome to my review of V Series, season 2, episode 7 entitled “Birth Pangs”. I enjoyed this episode quite a lot. I thought it was one of the best episodes I have seen this season.

The episode begins with Anna Visitor (Morena Baccarin) and Thomas Visitor (Martin Cummins) visiting Tyler Evans (Logan Huffman) who is reclining on the Visitor version of a barber chair, while wearing a barbers sheet or is that just a really large jacket? Anna tells Tyler that she was very sorry to hear of his father’s death. (Tee hee hee) She says she is pleased how well he seems to be adjusting to life on the ship, and thaClick to visit Warner Brothers Entertainment!t she hears he has fully embraced the pilot training program.

Tyler responds in a deeper, more mature sounding voice than what he has used before. He says that everything has been great so far, and then he thanks her. I have to say I like this new voice. He seems much colder and non emotional, than his old self, which normally would be a bad thing, but since I always found Tyler to be way over emotional I find this new him refreshing.

    V Series sx207 Tyler gets a haircut

Thomas tells Tyler that before he can enter into deep space flight he must have a physical examination. Anna assures Tyler that it is just a formality, and then the assigned visitor barber technician begins shaving off Tyler ‘s hair. The hair clipper he uses has these really pretty blue lights. I like blue!

Anna and Thomas leave Tyler because watching someone get a haircut is really boring, and as they are walking down the corridor Anna comments that the examination will assess Tyler ‘s DNA to be sure he is medically ready for what Anna wants to use him for. She instructs Thomas to have Joshua Visitor report to her as soon as the results come in. She gives us (Christopher Shyer fans) some wonderful news that Marcus Visitor (Christopher Shyer) will recover!!!!! (Yaysome Firefoxes and Apples).

Anna brags about Eli Cohan (Oded Fehr) and the rest of the fifth column having been obliterated. Nice word choice, though, Queen Anna is slipping here, allowing her over-confidence to shield the truth. Yes, she did win a small victory last week, but the fifth column was hardly obliterated. There are still thousands of them crawling around out there under the spaceships.

Thomas interjects that Concordia is moving forward on schedule. Anna finishes his thought by adding that soon the landing sites for their breeding ships will be built, and with Tyler aboard they can begin the next phase of inter-breeding. I do love Marcus, and I missed him while he was healing, but Anna and Thomas work very well together. I enjoyed how in sync their conversation was, the dialogue just seemed to flow quite well.

V Series sx207 Thomas and Anna
In the next scene, Jack Landry, formerly Father Jack Landry, (Joel Gretsch) is seen entering down the stairs into Kyle Hobbes (Charles Mesure) basement bunker. I love how Hobbes is always busy, he always seems to be busy fixing something, making something. He never just sits around. Kyle Hobbes is a man of action.

Jack is carrying two large duffel bags, inside is every personal possession he has collected over the past twelve years that he lived and served at Saint Josephine ‘s Church. I think it was so sweet of Hobbes to let Jack move in with him until he can find a place of his own. Jack thinks so too, and thanks his friend, he even makes a joke about being sure to leave enough room for Hobbes’ black t-shirts.

Erica Evans (Elizabeth Mitchell) arrives next and asks what the over/under is for who will kill who first. Science fiction shows like this can sometimes get kind of grim, so I always appreciate when the writers inject a little humor into the narrative.

Jack immediately asks Erica about Tyler. She says she has not seen him nor spoken to him since Joe ‘s funeral, and then says she does not want to talk about it anymore. Right after this Hobbes spies a stranger at his door. Erica tells them it is John Fierro (Zak Santiago), Eli ‘s second. Hobbes is not happy about Erica giving this guy her address, but Erica says they need this guy because he is their conduit to Eli ‘s worldwide fifth column network.

Erica says that if Anna wants a war then she is going to give her one. And then she orders Hobbes to let Fierro in, which he does reluctantly. Erica introduces everybody. Fierro shakes Jack’s hand, but not Hobbes, perhaps because Hobbes was glaring at him suspiciously. Fierro says he walked through fire with Eli, and that if Eli trusted Erica, then that is good enough for him. Awe! So sweet! I hope Fierro sticks around for a while. Erica replies that she is now ready to take over leadership of Eli’s network.

V Series sx207 John Fierro meets team Erica

V Series sx207 team Erica meets Fierro

Fierro says that in the wake of Eli ‘s death some of his top lieutenants are getting together in Bangkok, Thailand to strategize what to do next. If Erica is to be the new leader she needs to be there. Hobbes says he has used fake ID ‘s lots of times to travel in and out of the East. I think he says this hoping that he will get to go too. Then Erica says, I guess we should go to Bangkok.

Next it is back to the mothership, where Tyler is being flashed with pretty blue lights scans. Joshua Visitor (Mark Hildreth) is explaining to Anna and Thomas Visitor that Tyler ‘s vitals are excellent but his levels of phosphorus are not as high as they need to be. Anna says that the red rain should have infused him with more than enough phosphorus for inter-breeding. Joshua explains that everyone’s body is unique and that Tyler ‘s body seems to be rejecting the surge of phosphorus.

Anna commands Joshua to give him a concentrated dose. Joshua says he cannot guarantee Tyler will absorb enough to make him viable, which causes Anna to turn to Thomas; She says they may need to alter their plans. She asks Scary Thomas if the backup candidates have been tested? Scary Thomas replies that Rafael from Barcelona is their most promising backup candidate. Anna tells him to arrange for Rafael to visit with Lisa. Thomas asks what if Lisa rejects him? Anna replies that Lisa will breed with whoever she tells her to.

The blue light examination stops and Anna tells Tyler he has passed. He is relieved and excited when Anna tells him he gets to go away on his first over night flight. After Tyler leaves the room, Anna orders Joshua to inject Tyler with the phosphorus injection. He asks what will happen if after that his levels remain low. Anna coldly replies that if this happens he will be of no further use to them. I assume this means Tyler may become the victim of a shuttle malfunction or something similar that ends in his death.

In the next scene we get to travel to Bangkok Thailand where Fierro, Hobbes, and Erica are meeting with Eli ‘s top lieutenants. I love how all three of them are wearing sunglasses, while none of the lieutenants from Eli ‘s team are. I think the sunglasses make them all look really cool. And I like how John Fierro is wearing them too, perhaps signifying that he is now part of Erica ‘s team? I noticed that Erica ‘s glasses are tinted much more lightly than the guys, maybe because she is the leader, and the leader needs to be able to look people in the eye and stare them down.

V Series sx207 The cool team

V Series sx207 Erica Evans V team leader
The lieutenants are not happy to hear that Eli turned the leadership over to her. They say they have many of their own plans in motion, including a plan to avenge Eli ‘s death. Kyle speaks up then, and says sarcastically, Oh, like suicide bombings, and attacks against innocent humans. You are just throwing pebbles at a giant when you do stuff like that. I think he means that they need to have bigger bolder plans because the things they are doing while fun like throwing pebbles at a giant would be, the pebbles do not actually hurt the giant.

One of the Lieutenants does not agree with Hobbes and grumbles that he told everyone that this would be a waste of time. I bet he just does not like being told that his plans are not very good. Erica sees her chance to act like a leader and jumps right in and commands him to stop, as he is trying to leave. She says that if they are going to defeat the Visitors they need to change tactics. She says that Eli died because his plan did not work. She tells the lieutenants that she has contacts on Anna ‘s ship, as well as access that they will never have without her.

Fierro speaks up then in Erica ‘s defense. He reminds the others that Eli chose Erica to lead them, and he says that they owe it to Eli ‘s memory to give her a chance. So then one of the lieutenants, a different one than the guy who tried to leave early, tells Erica to present them with a plan. If they like it, and think it is a better plan than any of their own then they will follow her, if they think her plan is stupid then leadership will pass to someone in their group who had already proven their worth.

Back on the mothership, Queen Anna finds Princess Lisa, and she tells her about Rafael. Anna tells Lisa to entertain him, but I do not think she means play Parcheesi with him or read to him from her favorite book of poetry. Lisa is confused and wants to know what is going on with Tyler. Anna does not look pleased that Lisa has questioned her. So Lisa adds as logically as possible, that if Tyler senses her disloyalty it could upset her mother’s wonderfully devious plan, whatever that plan is, since Lisa does not know yet. Anna replies that her plans for Tyler are none of Lisa ‘s business. Lisa ‘s job is to do whatever her mother tells her to do, and Anna is telling her to entertain Rafael, as in kiss him and stuff. She warns Lisa to never question her again.

While still in Bangkok, Erica is having a video conference call on her laptop with Jack, Sid, Chad and Hobbes, who is lounging in bed in his own hotel room. That is where She and Hobbes are when they make this call. Erica tells jack that Eli Cohan ‘s lieutenants do not think that she has what it takes to lead them. Jack sympathetically says that they fought this war on their own before, so they do not need them. But Erica realistically tells Jack that if they are going to defeat Anna they need an army to do it.

Then Dr. Sidney Miller (Bret Harrison) asks, so even if we had an army how would we fight the Visitors? And Erica explains that if they can find out what Anna wants then they will know how to stop her. Hobbes says over his coffee cup, that they know the visitors want them for breeding, but admits that they do not know exactly what means yet.

Chad Decker (Scott Wolf) interjects from work something that he recently learned about the live-aboard ‘s. He says when he interviewed Anna last week she said that the next batch of live-aboard ‘s to come up would be the last. Then he and Erica agree that if Anna is stopping the live aboard program this must mean that she will soon have whatever she needs. The next question they ask is what does Anna need?” Erica thinks there might be someone on the ship who can help them find out. She tells Chad about Lisa and asks him to go on board and talk to her for them. Chad is very surprised to hear that Anna ‘s own daughter is working against her.

Then she asks Sid how he is coming along on the DNA research?” He replies that he reached out to the global scientific community, and he found out there were cases of other boys with their DNA missing, but so far all the ones he had found died as infants. Erica tells him to keep looking. I love how good of a leader Erica has become, and I enjoy watching her give orders left and right just like Anna does, except that Erica is a lot nicer than Anna, and she only skins those who really deserve it.

V series sx207 Team Erica conference call

Switch scenery to outdoor cafe with Erica, Hobbes, and Fierro. Erica asks John about the death of Eli ‘s son. Fierro admits that Eli had him investigating it. He says he started with the doctor who delivered Eli ‘ son, and he found out that the man is dead. But he began looking into the doctor’s practice where he discovered that eighteen years ago he had a rather alarming number of babies under his care die from what was listed as Sudden Infant Death Syndrome.

Erica suggests that it is possible that those babies died because their DNA was messed with. She says no one would have thought to check for that. Then Fierro says that after he learned about this he found a common link between the babies who died. All their mothers suffered from Pre-ecclampsia. Erica, told us in season two, episode one, “Red Rain” that she, too, had been diagnosed with Pre-ecclampsia. Fierro says that many of the mothers were treated by the same specialist, Doctor Veena Rai (Marny Eng).

Erica is visibly shaken when she hears this doctor’s name spoken as this is the doctor who treated her when she was pregnant with Tyler. She says that she looked everywhere for her, but she could not find her. Fierro says sympathetically that he could not find her either, so he used his fifth column contacts around the world and it paid off with a cop in Hong Kong who thinks he may have found her. Erica declares that if it is Doctor Rai she might know what the Visitors did to those boys, and why, which is why she says they must talk with her. So she and Hobbes and Fierro hop on a plane (I imagine) and fly to China.

V Series sx207 Erica learns new information about her doctor
Back on the mothership, Anna goes to medical bay to speak to Joshua. He tells her that Rafael is en route from Barcelona as she requested, and that according to his file his phosphorus levels are ideal. Anna smiles sweetly and tells Joshua how much she trusts him (It is a very scary smile, really. If Anna ever smiled like that at me I would run for the nearest broom closet). *giggles* Anna tells Joshua that she is about to tell him a secret, and then she tells him that she is sensing weakness in Lisa. (She moves quite close to Joshua as she is sharing, I am not sure if she is trying to intimidate him, if his scent is exciting her, or if she simply does not wish to be overheard.) Joshua asks Anna what she wants him to do, and she tells him to pretend to Lisa that he remembers being fifth column. Anna wants Joshua to test her daughter, she also asks him to watch Lisa, and to report everything he sees to her directly.

Next we watch Lisa go down in the elevator to visit with Diana Visitor (Jane Badler). Diana seems miffed that it has taken a week for Lisa to come back, and she believes that it has taken Lisa this long to decide to trust her. But Lisa claims that she wanted to come back sooner, but that her mother watches her every move. Diana then notices that Lisa looks troubled and she asks her what is wrong. Lisa explains the Tyler/Rafael situation to her. She does not understand why her mother would ask her to kiss Rafael when she told her to kiss Tyler.

Diana explains that Anna must be changing her plans, she then picks up on the fact that Lisa likes Tyler. Lisa sticks her chin in the air and haughtily exclaims that visitors are not supposed to have human emotions. But then Diana tells her that emotions give you power unlike anything else; she grasps Lisa by the arm and shakes her a little as she says it to emphasize the importance of her message. Lisa is worried what her mother would do if she ever found out that Lisa has emotions. Diana suggests that Anna might throw her down there in the dungeon with her, and then she tells Lisa that if she does not want this to happen then she needs to be very careful to not let her mother know.

V Series sx207 The power of emotion
Lisa asks her grandmother what she should do about Rafael. She says that she does not want to be with him. Diana says that Lisa should not have to be, but that in order for Lisa to save herself and possibly save their species she must do whatever Anna commands her. I do not think this is the answer Lisa wanted to hear. She may also be getting a little tired of being told that so many lives are depending on her. Certainly Lisa never asked for any of this responsibility, nor did she ask to be born of royal blood. Although I think the idea of one day being queen excites her, but the idea of becoming just like her mother should scare her good and plenty.

Next Chad arrives on ship. He sees Lisa and heads toward her, getting into his reporter act for his cover story just in case he needs it. He smiles brightly at Lisa, introduces himself and says he would like to do a story on her, and what it is like being first daughter of the visitors. Lisa is not too enthusiastic about meeting this reporter, but she is polite. About the story she says she will be happy to do whatever her mother wants. And then she tries to leave the annoying human reporter behind, but he follows her, and steps into her path.

V Series sx207 Chad gets in the way of Lisa
He says that Erica Evans told him that she could help. Lisa must be suspicious, she asks why Mrs. Evans would say something like that. Chad says because he is working with her, and Lisa is smart enough to realize that he does not mean that he works with her in the FBI, but she chooses to play dumb instead in case this is a trap or a test. Chad realizing he needs to take this a step further says that he knows she helped Erica destroy her mother’s soldier eggs. He says he knows that she wants to stop her mother, just like he does. Lisa decides that Chad is for real because her mother does not know that Lisa or Erica had anything to do with her eggs being scrambled. (I like scrambled eggs; toast is yummy too, but with butter, not jam.) 😛

V Series sx207 Chad tells Lisa the truth

Lisa Visitor asks Chad what he wants from her; she sounds kind of annoyed, to me, like, “why does everyone keep bothering me? I am not a superhero.” (A pun by the actress Laura Vandervoort, did play Supergirl on Smallville) Chad quickly explains that they need information on the live aboard ‘s, and what Anna is doing to them/what she wants them for. He says, lives depend on our getting this information, but he also says, please. (Chad must have done very well in Pre-school). And then even though Lisa is not a superhero, she does agree to help. It may have been the magic word that helped her make her decision. So now all of you parents out there can tell your children, “remember your manners. Save the world.” *giggles*

Lisa immediately goes to an area of the ship where the live aboard experiments are done (at least this is where I think she has gone, perhaps she is in the V record room or even their library. If this is their library it is a very sad one) Wherever Lisa is she is there to look through the live aboard records. Joshua sneaks up on her , sees what she is doing, but is too far away to read which records she is reading. He scurries out before she even knows he is there. Then she leaves and Joshua leaps out from a corner and asks if he can have a word with her? Lisa is surprised to see him and wants to know what he is doing there in the red arrow hallway? The red arrow hallway is the hallway where they wheel the unfortunate live aboard ‘s down in the middle of the night so they can stick them in the needle machine. It is a much quieter place during the day.

V Series sx207 Joshua catches Lisa

Joshua says that he was looking for her because his memory from before the shooting from season one, episode twelve, “Red Sky” has been returning to him. He says that he remembers being fifth column and feeling human emotion, and he wants to talk to Lisa about these memories. He claims he remembers that he used to talk to her about them before. Lisa does not believe Joshua. From what I remember the two never really talked, as in two friends, heart to heart. And he didn’t mention the egg bombing at all. If Joshua really did remember he would have mentioned it, so Lisa correctly realizes this is a trap, and says nothing damaging. Good on ya, Lisa!

V Series sx207 Joshua tests Lisa
Erica, Hobbes, and Fierro are now in Hong Kong, China eating at another outdoor cafe with the cop who found Dr. Rai, Wen Chiang (Ash Lee). Hobbes says, “Are you kidding? Hong Kong cops have never heard of a donut shop? (Is holding up a small chicken foot with chopsticks)

    V Series sx207 Hobbes wants a donut

Chiang solemnly says that Chicken feet are a delicacy. Then Erica gets down to business, asking Chiang about Doctor Rai. Chiang takes a photo out of the folder he is holding on his lap, he passes it to Erica. She recognizes the woman. That is her, she confirms before passing the photo on to Hobbes. Chiang says that she took a long time to find because she has been living under an assumed name. Kyle suggests that they pay her a visit. Chiang says that Doctor Rai lives in a highly secured building, but that because the police are wired into security he could get them in, but he does not know how to shut the system down.

Fierro volunteers for this assignment, claiming that hacking is one of the things that he does best. The Hong Kong police officer warns that they will only have a short window of opportunity to break into the doctor’s home because the security system does an internal check every fifteen minutes. Erica says she does not care how much time they have she just has to get in there so she can ask this woman what she did to her son. Erica and Hobbes sneak inside the building. Hobbes knocks out a security guy and puts on his uniform while Fierro works on hacking into the security. Fierro is successful, he tells Chiang, who calls Erica. He says the monitors will now go on a loop and she has fifteen minutes before the system automatically reboots.

    V Series sx207 Hobbes as a security V

Hobbes knocks on Dr. Rai’s door wearing his security guy uniform. In what I assume is Cantonese, he tells Rai (Marny Eng) that the heat sensors were picking up an electrical short in her apartment. She says she is not having any problems. Hobbes says they got an alert on the sixth floor, and that they just nearly avoided a fire. So she opens the door, Erica and Hobbes instantly pull their weapons. Erica rushes in, grabs Dr. Rai, and pushes her up against the wall. She shouts at her, demanding to know who she thinks she is, and crying that she trusted her. Veena wants to know who they are, so Erica tells her that eighteen years ago, she and her baby were patients of hers. She says that Doctor Rai was supposed to take care of them.

The doctor tries to pretend that Erica has mistaken her for someone else. So Erica angrily, grabs her again and slams her face down onto the dining room table. She orders Hobbes to take the doctors hands, then Erica takes her knife and administers the V test by cutting off a little piece of her skin on her neck to see if she is human or V. She discovers that Dr. Rai is a Visitor. It is important to Erica that Veena understand what she is going to do to her. She says that she is going to skin her slowly from neck to tail until she tells her everything that she did to Tyler. Erica says that she is going to keep her alive so that she feels every cut. Then after she has her good and scared she demands that she tell where her safe is located. At first Doctor Rai does not answer, but after Erica shouts at her twice, she says the safe is in the bedroom.

V Series sx207 Erica wants answers from Dr Rai

Erica lets her get up so she can show them. She keeps her hand on the back of the doctors neck while she pushes her forwards. Hobbes tells Erica, they need to hurry. Erica purposely slams Doctor Rai’s head into the corner as they are rounding it into the bedroom. Veena shows them the safe in the closet. Hobbes finds the switch to open the front covering. He asks for the combination. Erica must have relaxed her grip on Veena ‘s neck because Veena reaches back and slaps Erica ‘s gun away, and then she runs straight for her balcony. Erica and Hobbes chase her through the sliding glass door, but they are not going to follow her over the railing. Really cool sequence while she is flying through the air before popping a suicide pill and exploding into flame. That was one wicked awesome scene! Many kudos to all those involved in putting this scene together.

V Series sx207 Veena the flying Visitor

V Series sx207 Veena bursting into flames

Erica realizes they don’t have much time left. Hobbes tells her to look for a flashlight or a power drill, or any kind of tool that they can use to break into the safe. Erica does find a flashlight, and Hobbes finds a drill. Hobbes says that they are going to raise the pressure on the inside, so that it is higher on the inside than it is on the outside. The trick he says is in not blowing up the contents in the process. He then teases Erica, “Pretty quick to slice and dice back there, agent Evans. How did you know Rai was a lizard? ” Erica says she did not know. Hobbes replies that he likes this new Erica, while pulling a small white cord out of his watch. Erica comments that this looked very Mission Impossible like. Hobbes calls it a det cord (detonation cord?) He says he never leaves home without it. Erica says she thinks that this is a good things for them today.

Hobbes asks Erica to crawl under the shelf where the safe is sitting. He needs her light so he can see to shove the det cord into the hole he made with the drill. But he says Erica ‘s hands are smaller, so he has her shove it in; they have a moment where they just looks at each other, and you know that they want to kiss, but dagnabbit they do not!

V Series sx207 Hobbes and Erica shipper moment

Erica gets the cord into the hole, Hobbes ties it off, and then plugs the other end into his mobile phone. He dials something, and the door of the safe blows off. Soo cool! And I agree with Erica, very Mission Impossible. As they are running out of time they grab everything out of the safe and run. They almost get caught when a bunch of cops arrive just as they are entering the stairwell. Their cop friend enters at just the right moment, shows his identification and tells them that the suspects were spotted outside. They all run to see, which gives Erica and Hobbes a chance to escape.

We get a short change of scene with Jack out taking a walk. Ryan, who did survive the blast somehow, jumps out at Jack and asks for his help. Jack is just as angry with Ryan as Erica was, and he repeats the same lines about how Ryan betrayed them, how Joe Evans (Nicholas Lea) is dead because of him. (none of them know about Hobbes little part in that escapade.) Ryan says he knows what he did was wrong, but Anna had his baby, and he didn’t have any other choice. And Jack tells him, no, you could have told us what was going on. Ryan is just very pitiful, and he again asks Jack for help in getting his daughter away from Anna. Jack has had enough, and as he is walking away, Ryan says, “You know of all the people I would think that you would be the one who understands. Everybody needs a second chance.” Jack stops, looks at him and says, “I’m not a priest anymore, Ryan. It’s not my job to absolve you.” And then he walks away.

Back to Hong Kong, Erica and Hobbes and Chiang enter some kind of office where they can talk privately. Chiang says that Rai visited the same cities over and over for nineteen years. As they are looking through the Visitor version of a flash drive, that they stole from Rai ‘s safe, Erica, Hobbes and Fierro discover that there are 29 boys in the database, in 29 cities, and each one has a mothership parked over them. They realize that the ships were parked where they were because of these 29 boys, Tyler included. Erica also then discovers for sure that Tyler is not the only one missing DNA, which tells her that this makes her son expendable.

V Series sx207 Resistance in Hong Kong

Erica is upset, she walks away a little from the group. Hobbes follows her, and promises that they will figure it out, and they will stop Anna and will keep Tyler safe. Those are a lot of promises to make, and as excited as I am to see Hobbes and Erica together I cannot help but worry what is going to happen when Erica finds out that it was Hobbes who blew up Eli Cohan ‘s base. Will she blame him for her ex-husband’s death? Will she feel betrayed like she does by Ryan?

V Series sx207 Kyle and Erica look so good together

Chiang picks up a small bottle and asks what is in it. Erica recognizes the bottle because they are the same prenatal vitamins that she took when she was pregnant with Tyler. Fierro asks why a doctor would keep prenatal vitamins in a safe?” Hobbes says they would not unless they were trying to hide something. So he takes a pill, cuts it open, removes a small metal cylinder, cuts that open and hundreds of tiny pink and silver bugs go racing all over the table.

Chad is at work getting his hair and makeup done while waiting to go on the air for his show when Lisa calls him with the information that he asked her for. She says she is sending the information to him.

V Series sx207 Chad Decker has no time for his hairdresser

Erica and Hobbes are home, and are in a meeting with Jack and Sid. Science boy has been studying the metal bugs and he knows what they do. He invites everyone to come and look at what he has found. He says the Visitors must have programmed the metal bugs to go after DNA with a Y chromosome, and that is why the pregnant mothers and baby girls were not affected.

V Series sx207 cyber bug image

Jack says then that they now know what the Visitors did and how they did it, but they still do not know why. Sid reminds him that they know the Visitors created empty space in these boys DNA so that they could put something in, but they do not know what yet. Then Chad arrives with the information sent to him by Lisa. He claims he might know what it is all about. He tells them that Anna has been using her needle machine to harvest DNA from the live a boards but not just any DNA, the best of the best.

“That’s awesome!” Sid exclaims. “I mean definitely not awesome, but it explains something that has been driving me crazy.” He then explains what he is talking about. He shows them DNA from Alpha the V skeleton he found. Alpha ‘s DNA is one hundred times more complex than normal DNA. Sid explains, but then he shows them Malik’s DNA, which is one thousand times more complex than Alpha ‘s. Sid explains that the genetic evolution from Alpha to Malik should have taken five thousand years, but the Visitors did it in fifty. Sid says this explains why the Visitors did not just annihilate them. They needed them alive because they were stealing the best of their DNA. Then Erica adds that the Visitors are using them to fast track their own evolution.

V Series sx207 Dr Miller is awesome
I really like the addition of Doctor Miller. Sid is cute, and funny, and nerdy, and smart, and I feel like he has added a lot to the show whenever he has had a scene. A scientist character was badly needed for a long time, so I am very excited that now we have one. I like that Sid was able to finally give us answers to why are the Visitors here, and what do they want from the V television series world.

Back on the mothership, Anna is sitting alone at her desk when Joshua walks in to announce that Rafael has arrived. Since Joshua is there Anna asks him if he approached Lisa like she asked him to? Joshua tells her that he did, and he tells her that Lisa gave no indication she has ever felt human emotion. Anna says that Lisa could have been testing him while he was testing her. Joshua acknowledges that Anna may be right, and then tells Anna that Lisa was going through medical files. He has to admit he does not know which ones when she asks.

V Series sx207 Anna is concerned
Lisa goes to entertain Rafael the Peace Ambassador (Charlie Carrick) like her mother told her to do. She is friendly and kisses him, but does not go any farther because she just cannot force herself to cheat on the love of her life. She tells Rafael that she is sorry, but he has to go. Anna is watching, of course, and she is not happy. She storms into the entertaining room and demands to know why Lisa disobeyed her. Some very lovely ominous music plays throughout this scene, which just meshes quite well with everything else that has been going on. Lisa explains her actions by yelling that she is tired of being told what to do and then she demands to know what her mother’s plans for her are.

    V Series sx207 Rafael
“How dare you talk to me like that!” Anna says, then she asks Lisa if she wants to strike her? Lisa replies that she does, indeed. Anna invites her to do so, Lisa hesitates so Anna helps by hitting her first. Lisa lets her arm fly and ends up bloodying the side of her mother’s mouth. Afterward, I am sure Lisa is freaking out that she actually hit her mother, and what will Anna do to her now? But I bet there was also another part of her that was relishing the victory, strutting around the ring, and shouting, “I’m number one! I’m number one.” Anna moves closer toward Lisa and she instantly apologizes, claiming she did not mean it. Anna touches her once on the shoulder in a gesture that may or may not have been intended to comfort. She tells Lisa not to be sorry, that this is only her breeding skin fueling the aggression needed to become Queen.

Anna appears to understand and to hold no ill will until she grabs Lisa by the face and hisses that she is not Queen yet, and that until she is she will do as she is told. She then pushes herself off Lisa ‘s face and leaves. It is clear by Lisa’s reaction that her aggression is still fueling, though she manages to control herself.

V Series sx207 Anna makes her point
Anna tells Joshua that the problem with Lisa may be more serious than she first thought. Joshua is concerned because they cannot proceed with inter-breeding without Lisa. Anna tells him she wants to show him something. It is a queen egg, which she had preserved, it is the last of her clutch of offspring. If Lisa proves disloyal Anna says she can be replaced. She tells Joshua that this egg is her only alternate to inter-breeding, so she says the very survival of their species could depend on it. Anna asks Joshua if he can hatch it safely, and he says, yes, he can. Anna instructs him to begin the process immediately. Joshua then points out that it will take years before the new queen reaches reproductive maturity, and he says that their accelerated growth experiments have not proven successful. Anna commands him to run more.

    V Series sx207 Queen egg

Joshua asks who she would like to run the experiments on since all her children have now matured. There does not seem to be anyone left to experiment on until Joshua has an idea, and he sees that Anna has had it too – They will use the hybrid baby. Joshua is hopeful it might work as he remembers that at birth Ryan ‘s daughter did appear more visitor than human. She had human skin and hair, however, she had a Visitor tail and claws. As Anna is about to leave Joshua has one final thought. He tells Anna that this new experimentation could result in the hybrid ‘s death. Anna replies with, well then she will die serving her Queen. And the matter is closed, all problems solved, all issues settled.

Erica and the gang are having a group conference call with Eli ‘s most trusted lieutenants. Erica tells them that it is possible the visitors have been doing this all across the universe, consuming the best of every life form they come in contact with to create a superior master species. But now they are doing it here on earth, and she says she is going to stop them. One of the cell members wants to know how the 29 boys fit into this plan of developing a master species. Erica explains that each one of the 29 boys is missing a part of their DNA. There is a void, she says, and we believe the Visitors plan on filling that void with a mixture of the genes they have stolen. Another cell member would like to know what happens after they insert their DNA? (Good question)

Erica promises that she will find out. She says that in just two days, working with her team she has managed to uncover a vital part of the Visitors plan. She asks Eli ‘s former resistance mates to imagine what she could do with an army. A cell member admits that what she has done here is most impressive. He then wants to know what is next, but Erica will not tell him until he and the rest of their worldwide network lieutenants tell her that they trust her, and only if they unequivicabaly accept her as leader of the fifth column. It does not take long for Eli Cohan ‘s former followers to agree to follow Agent Erica Evans. Then Erica tells them all her plan which involves the final group of live aboard ‘s that Anna is welcoming onto the ship. Erica says that they suspect that once Anna gets their DNA she will have what she needs to move onto the next part of her plan. Erica announces that they are going to stop that from happening.

Back on the mothership, Thomas and Joshua enter Anna’s office where she is pacing restlessly. Thomas says that Tyler is proving to be quite a capable pilot. Anna says, good, disinterestedly. She asks Joshua to check Tyler ‘s phosphorus levels immediately. She says that she is still hopeful she can move forward with him. Thomas then asks how it went with Lisa and Rafael. Anna replies, not as well as she would have liked, though she convinced him to stay on the ship for now. Anna says that Lisa must be dealt with. Then she asks Joshua how he was progressing with her backup plan. Joshua says that they had initiated the experimentation as she had requested. And then offers to let her see the results for herself. Thomas explains that the hybrid survived the aging experiment, however there was an unforeseen side effect. Her maturation strengthened her immune system. In other words her body seems to have healed itself of its chronic pain. It meant Anna no longer has leverage over Ryan Nichols.

Ryan finds his way onto the ship looking for his daughter (Trinity Jarman). He ends up in a room with an adorable toddler. He asks where his daughter is, and is pointed to the toddler. He kneels down to look at her, she is playing with a doll, then a smile lights her face, and she gets up, Ryan smiles because he thinks she is going to him, instead she goes straight to Anna, saying, “Mummy.” Anna picks her up and turns to face Ryan, with a smile. She tells Ryan than Eli Cohan is dead, and that the fifth column have been neutralized as a threat. As a reward he gets to spend a few hours with his daughter. And then she puts the child into his arms. He smiles sadly and says, thank you. My queen.

    Adorable-nameless-child-click-to-visit-V-on-ABC.jpg
Anna praises Joshua for his excellent work. Then she says that Ryan Nichols (Morris Chestnut)  cover has been compromised within fifth column. She determines that he is no longer of any use to them, so she asks Joshua to arrange to have him eliminated quietly. Tyler makes it safely back to the ship. He is super thrilled about his experience flying. Lisa sees him and calls his name. She goes up and hugs him, tells him how much she missed him. He missed her too, but he has to go shower quickly because

Thomas Visitor is going to teach him how to download his flight reports. Lisa tells Tyler that he cannot keep running away from her. Tyler wants to know what she is talking about. She accuses him of holding in his emotions. She says your dad just died. It is okay to be sad. He gives her a funny look and tells her that she does not get it. Tyler does not want to feel anything. He just wants to be a pilot. He tells Lisa that he wants to forget about his past.

Lisa goes back down to visit Diana,, she tells her that she was right about her caring for Tyler. She says that he is the one that she wants, but she is no longer sure he wants to be with her. Diana tells Lisa she is sure that she will figure it out, and then she offers to help her. Lisa tells Diana how grateful she is to have found her, and claims that Diana is the only one who understands her, and what she is going through. Diana tells Lisa that she learned to recognize the good in human emotion, even though Anna refuses to see it. Lisa tells her grandmother that Tyler used to care, and now she does not know him anymore.

V Series sx207 Lisa and Diana
Lisa confesses that she disobeyed her mother today because she could not control her emotions. She confides in Diana that now she is worried that Anna suspects the change she has gone through. Diana tells her that she is on very dangerous territory, and reminds her that Anna must not suspect anything. She tells her to trust no one, but her, and to not tell anyone that Diana is here. Lisa promises she will not tell. Diana tells Lisa she knows that she is afraid, but that everything is going to be all right. She reaches out to hug Lisa, but she pulls away suspiciously and wants to know why she is doing this. (Poor Lisa, whenever her mother touches her it is usually a trick or it is because she is trying to be nice because she wants something. Lisa has never had true affection and love.)

Diana tells Lisa she is hugging her because Anna never did, and then Lisa lets her grandmother hug her. After the hug has ended Lisa pushes a small communications ball into Diana’s hand, explaining that she is all alone up there on the ship, and that this ball will allow the two to communicate whenever they want without risking being caught by Anna. Then Lisa has to get back, so she leaves, and Diana looks down at the little ball and smirks. I am not one hundred percent sure what this smirk means, but it made me uneasy, and now I am worried that Lisa may have both sides to fear.

  • V Series Episode Six – A Different Perspective of Siege

    Heyla, V Series fans,

Click to visit V Series on ABC!

Here I am with my first ever review! I hope you all enjoy reading as much as I did writing about Siege!

I thought episode six, called “Siege” was excellent. It had many sad and brilliant moments. The first sad moment, for me, was when Anna (Morena Baccarin) goes to visit Marcus Visitor (Christopher Shyer) in the medical bay. He is either sleeping or in a coma, but he does not move at all or open his eyes.

Anna seems quite troubled by what she sees. Click to visit Warner Brothers Entertainment!I can easily imagine a large display of possible emotions going through her mind (since contrary to what she tells her mother she does feel). She could be really sad that Marcus got shot, or she might just be mad that the fifth column were able to pull off something like this.

However she does vow to the unconscious Marcus that she will find Eli Cohan (Oded Fehr), and the rest of the fifth column; she will make them pay for what they have done!

On the one hand, I am rooting for the fifth column to win, so I don’t want her to make the fifth column pay. I do like Marcus though, and I hated seeing him get shot, so the sentiment makes me feel better. I share thoughts that Marcus is the best! 😉

Erica Evans (Elizabeth Mitchell) goes to visit Kyle Hobbes (Charles Mesure) and Jack (Joel Gretsch) at Hobbes bunker, at least this is where I think they are. Usually, Ryan Nichols, the anti Anna V (Morris Chestnut) would be there, too, but he betrayed them all last week, and no one has seen him since. Erica tells her friends she has just finished a six-hour interrogation over the events of Concordia, and Marcus’ attempted assassination. She has been given a vacation for an unspecified amount of time while she is being investigated.

Hobbes expresses his desire to kill Ryan for betraying them, and Erica tells him that he cannot kill Ryan until she has a chance to look him in the eye and ask him why he did it. She does give Hobbes permission to look for him. Eli, however, beats him to it.

Well, actually, Anna sends Ryan to kill Eli Cohan, per his obligatory daily payment for keeping his daughter (Trinity Jarman) blissed. Eli was waiting for him, a trap sprung into place, which Ryan walks right into. At the time I wanted to think that Ryan let himself get caught on purpose.

His falling into Eli’s trap just seemed too sloppy for Anna’s best hunter. Ryan gets tazered, beaten, and tied to a chair. When Scary Thomas (Marcus’ hopefully-only-temporary replacement) tells Anna what has happened, and asks if he should send in soldiers, as usual Anna has a better idea, call the FBI, leave an anonymous tip, and let them do her dirty work for her.

Erica was at home with her ex-husband Joe Evans (Nicholas Lea) and son, Tyler (Logan Huffman). They were preparing to go on a family motorcycle ride when Eli calls to announce that he has Ryan. When Erica arrives she kneels down in front of Ryan, looks him in his one good and one bloody, battered eye, and demands an explanation for his actions.

Ryan tells Erica that Anna made his baby sick; she said she would help if he came back to her. He then warns Erica about the tracker Anna sent after him and tells her she needs to leave before it is too late. Before Erica can respond one of Eli’s cell mates announces a disturbance outside. Erica, and Eli go to check the cameras and discover to their surprise that it is the FBI.

Eli’s solution is to kill them all, not surprisingly Erica does not like this plan, so she comes up with a better one: playing hostage. She asks Eli to hit her and turns over her gun. She is so cool! Then Eli has her lead out onto a balcony so her FBI friends can see her. She is sporting fresh bruises and a scared face, while waving a cell phone.

Thomas and Anna, are watching Erica’s performance on television. Thomas, who is understandably nervous about his new responsibilities (Marcus’ shoes would not be easy to fill) reminds Anna that Agent Evans becoming a hostage was not part of her plan, yet she does not panic. And instead comes up with a new brilliant plan to get Tyler’s father into the building, as well. Then they can blow it up and be rid of them both. Anna believes that breaking the bond between Tyler and his parents will get him up on the ship where she wants him, since he declined her birthday gift to spend more time with his parents.

Lisa calls Tyler to tell him about his Mom. He switches the channel from the football game he and his dad were watching, and they too, watch and believe Erica’s grand performance. Joe immediately, heads down to the scene, making Tyler promise to stay home. Lisa comes down to stay with him, like any good girlfriend would do.

Once Erica has made the phone call, listing their fake demands, Eli’s friends get a surprise visitor. No, not a Visitor … It’s Joe. A sleeper V, going by the name of Ray Caldwell, pretends to be a friend of Erica’s. He finds Joe at the scene, and makes a pretense of talking to him about what is going on. Before leaving the truck, where they were talking privately, he ‘accidentally’ leaves behind some building plans which reveal a secret entrance.

I didn’t think Erica was very happy to see Joe when the fifth column guards found him breaking through the wall, and dragged him before Eli and Erica. They drop him roughly to the floor and would have kicked and beaten him like they did to Ryan if Erica did not recognize and save him. She was in a very stressful situation, so I am sure having Joe there to worry about was not making her day any less stressful.

Joe was there whether Erica did like it or not, trapped inside just like all the rest of them. Until Eli announces his ingenious plan, which involved sending a text to waiting members of the Fifth Column, who are outside within crowd. They are wearing these vests lined with explosives, and when Eli tells them to, they will announce themselves, and take real hostages inside the building, so that a little while later they can use these same hostages to sneak some of their guys out, with Erica leading the way.

Erica hates Eli’s idea, at first, which leads to a huge fight over their ideological differences. Erica does not believe in hurting or using the innocent. Eli believes in doing whatever it takes to win. Their argument ends with Eli giving Erica control of his entire fifth column network of worldwide operatives. Erica is shocked and asks him why. Eli tells her it is because she understands that this fight is for their future. I consider this Eli’s second great idea. What a champ!

Jack (who has just recently been kicked out of his church for being anti-V) also sees Erica on a lap top computer. He literally drops everything to run to the scene. They won’t let him anywhere near the building, so he stays in the crowd and calls Hobbes from his cellular phone. Jack asks him to come down there, but Hobbes reminds him he cannot be seen, then he is stopped by Scary Thomas, Marcus, so he makes an excuse about being on the FBI’s most wanted list. Like that would stop him if he truly wanted to be there. He is Kyle Hobbes, man of many great disguises. He can blend in anywhere, and not be noticed. I think that is his superpower. *giggles*

Thomas shows Hobbes a picture of a dark haired woman, named Sarah. Hobbes sneers that she has been dead for years. Thomas points out that they never found her body. Hobbes does not seem to be buying the act until Thomas puts his cellular phone to Hobbes’ ear and lets Sarah talk to him, or at least Hobbes believes that it is her. He slams Thomas up against the fence and puts a gun to his head, just itching, I am sure, to blow him away. But then Thomas calmly says if you kill me you will never find her. Hobbes relents, I guess because he does not want to take any chances if Sarah truly is alive.

Thomas gives Hobbes a computer-wireless-mouse-looking devise that is apparently a trigger. He says there are objects, which were brought inside Eli’s base that the thingamajig will detonate. I am sure Hobbes does not want to do it. But he does do it …………………… for Sarah.

Erica eventually agrees to Eli’s plan, and while he is putting his plan into motion Erica goes back to Ryan to say goodbye. He is still tied to the chair. He must have been very uncomfortable and in a lot of pain. I wonder if Vs have large bladders? 😀 Ryan asks Erica to get him out of there, which causes me to change my mind about him getting caught on purpose. It also makes me glad that Erica does not want to help him. She reminds him that he betrayed her, and Jack, that he was supposed to be their friend, and that they trusted him.

Ryan tries to say he had no choice, but Erica does not accept his excuse. I felt that throughout the series Erica and Ryan had been getting much closer, and I found it interesting how similar their story lines were with them both having a child they were trying to protect. I think Erica feels especially betrayed that Ryan did not trust her because they were in a similar situation. Out of anyone in the group Ryan should have known that he could trust her.

Erica does promise to help him get his daughter back. I like that she is still willing to do whatever she can to help his daughter. Erica is a nice person who would never willingly leave an innocent child in Anna’s clutches, no matter who the child’s father was. She tells Ryan though, that she will never forgive his betrayel.

Meanwhile, Hobbes sneakily joins the crowd of looky-loos who have gathered together to watch the exciting hostage situation, and to get shown on television. He blends in well, of course. The hostage situation is just ending at the moment that he arrives. Erica is leading the group of real hostages out of the building filled with dangerous terrorists into what should have been the safety of the outside. Eli stays inside the building. He may not have expected to die, but Erica did tell him she only saw two ways out of the situation for him: in handcuffs or in a body bag. Erica can be quite poetic when she wants to be.

Did Hobbes time this so the building is almost empty before he pushes the button detonating the explosive vests? There is a giant boom! Debris is flying everywhere, and then bullets start flying, too, from both Eli’s forces and the FBI. I think it’s possible had certain people not started shooting that Joe, at least, would not have died. Maybe none of the hostages either. So it was not all Hobbes fault. He just blew up an almost empty building. And Eli. I liked Eli. I thought Hobbes liked him too. I do not know if he realized that Eli and a few others where still in the building. But he probably did. Eli was ready to sacrifice himself though.

The last time Ryan is shown he is still tied to the chair. I assume that he blew up too. It did not look like Eli had enough time to untie Ryan before the building went kablooey! I want him to survive to have a chance to redeem himself, somehow. If Ryan does die I would rather that he die saving Erica’s life or someone else in the resistance/fifth column. I think that would be a good way for him to, at least partially redeem himself, and it would be a better way for him to go out.

After-wards Hobbes slinks away in the aftermath, while an anguished Erica is left cradling Joe’s lifeless body. Tyler, who starts freaking out when his dad does not call, had left Lisa behind in his empty house. Poor Lisa! He finally arrives on the scene, just in time to join Erica in her mourning. This was definitely, the saddest part of the episode. I liked Joe, and he did apologize to Erica right before they left the building for not believing her about the paternity issue. He wanted to make it up to her; they could have been a family again. Poor Joe. Poor Erica. Poor Tyler. It is just so sad!

Near the end of the episode Anna goes down in her special elevator to meet her mother, Diana (Jane Badler) in her nice dungeon. Diana confronts Anna on the true purposes of these visits, claiming Anna does so because she needs her. Anna flatly denies this, and then accuses her mother of trying to destroy her leadership abilities by making her feel human emotion. She claims it is not working and that her mother needs to work harder if she wants to destroy her. Diana says she thought her plan was working perfectly and promises that she will work harder. Anna then goes back up in her elevator, and Lisa (Laura Vandervoort), happens to see. Curiously she takes the elevator back down to the dungeon.

From the look on her face she has never been down here before. Then she sees Diana, but she has no idea who she is seeing. Diana realizes immediately, who Lisa must be, and introduces herself as her grandmother. Lisa, startled, explains she was told her grandmother was dead.

Diana hisses magnificently, that Lisa is to keep her existence a secret for now. Lisa asks how she knows thar she can trust Diana, and Diana responds by commenting that they both share the same enemy, Anna. I am quite excited to see how this new relationship is going to grow, and to see how it will change the rules of the game. I sincerely hope that Diana’s character arc will grow into season three. I would love to see much more of both her and Lisa.

After this little bit of excitement it is time to return to Erica’s misery. She is sitting at home, crying in the darkness. Awwe!!!! I just want to give her a giant hug. Then Tyler comes downstairs and instead of trying to comfort his mother (I know he’s sad too, but they could be sad together, couldn’t they?) He says he is leaving. Erica begs him to stay, claims she needs him, but he is rude and cruel and lashes out at her accusing her of not doing enough to prevent his dad’s death. Erica tells him it was Anna, but he does not believe her. Erica does smack him once, but not very hard, and he totally deserved it. It didn’t help, of course, and I doubt it made her feel better. But he did deserve it! I would have smacked him harder.

So now Erica has effectively lost three people she cared about, pretty much all in one day. Ryan, to his betrayal, her ex- to a gun, and Tyler to his own self centeredness. She completely falls apart in one scene. but then in the next scene she has composed herself. There is a new coldness in her, and a new determination to destroy the Visitors once and for all. Go Evans Go! And here is where I felt sorry for Hobbes, where maybe I should not have.

I am sure that most people have experienced this at one time or another. It is not a nice feeling. I do not find myself as sympathetic of Ryan. I guess because he does not show the emotion that Hobbes does? I could tell by looking into Hobbes eyes how terrible he felt. He may have felt bad about what he did or perhaps he simply regretted the consequences. I would have to be able to read his mind to discern that, and I have not yet mastered my mind reading handbook. Either way Hobbes could not say anything, nor could he undo any of the damage. I am sure Hobbes can find a way to justify his actions (this is war, after all, and these things do happen) Hobbes did betray his friend, as well as Eli and pretty much everyone in the fifth column/resistance, and I am sure there will be consequences, eventually.

Hobbes insists everything would be better if he had been able to kill Ryan a long time ago. Could he be trying to lay all the blame on Ryan? After all, Hobbes would not have been asked to blow up the base if Ryan had not gone there. Anna would not have known where it was, Hobbes services would not have been needed, and Eli and Joe would still be alive. I guess that is one way of looking at it.

There is a softness to Kyle’s voice when Erica apologizes for keeping him caged and releases him to fight this war the way he has wanted to all along. He pretty much pledges himself to her side at this point. I think he desperately wishes to make it up to her, and I hope that he does, but not by dying, please! I do not want to lose him. I think Hobbes may secretly be my favorite character.

When you hear a secret confession this is the signal that the reviewer is done.

Fringe Review Ratings Frenzy – Fan Boycott Frankly a Flop, V Series Improves, The Scourge of Piracy!

Hello Fringe and V Series fans!Fringe Season Three Retro Banner

Well our detailed analysis of Fringe episode “Immortality” is complete (our analysis later today), and this week we were astounded when a vocal minority of the Fringies blew many minds on Fringe Friday February 11, 2011.

Last week we advised “Frankly Fringe Fans First Forget about the last Fringe Friday numbers”. This week we repeat that call except there were some new developments discussed below.

    Fringe Season 3 Group Photo
Click to visit 20th Century Fox Studios!First, the tweet count was slightly higher for Fringe over the previous week with rumors of the series being renewed. We repeat that WormholeRiders News Agency does not believe anything has changed on a permanent basis. Fringe will be renewed in our opinion.
Click to visit Warner Brothers Studios!

In fact several new sources (TV Guide, Michael Ausiello) have now joined the belief that Fringe is “a safe bet” to be renewed, the fans are indeed restless. We understand. if one simply consults with both Nielsen and TV By the Numbers, the answers might be perplexing since Fringe dropped in the ratings to 1.4 as we confirmed for ourselves, however we suggest that you do not discount the facts of the matter at hand.

Click to visit TV By The Numbers! While TV By The Numbers recently changed their opinion that Fringe is now likely to be renewed, and “still on the bubble” the ratings on Friday February 11, 2011 sent the Fringe fans into frenzy! Only seasoned veterans of the entertainment news industry fans knew that freaking out was not called for. Lets review again shall we? The crisis in Egypt continued to literally “suck the oxygen out of the atmosphere” of many shows including the favorite of the FringClick to visit Neilsen Ratings Service!ies.

Third we examined thousands of tweets and found a disturbing trend. A faction of the Fringe fandom has decided to boycott the “Alternate Universe” episode because of elements of the Fringe series they do not “like”.They seem to believe that doing so “helps send a message of some sort” to the show runners! For goodness sakes people, the remainder of the season “is already in the can”. The show runners are building the story arc to a season four! Could you simply be a bit patient? Thank you.

Well we here at WormholeRiders News Agency did more hard work looking at a large number of factors to share with you our understanding. Fringe has NOT fallen forever. There are many factors that decide if a show or series will be canceled.  Last Friday represented continued draining of frequent Fringe fans to other broadcast networks in the “rating number” and “share” of the crucial 18-34 year old and 18-49 year old target groups.

Over and above the so-called Fringe fan boycott, the continuing crisis in Egypt sustained the siphoning off OVER  1 million viewers in the crucial time slots. Supernatural continued to enjoy a resurgence of OVER 1 million viewers as the chart illustrates below. This means one thing. There will be competition between Supernatural and Fringe from here on out. An important question arises: What happens if Supernatural gets a seventh season?

Add all the logical reasons up and it is easy to understand why Fringe dropped to a 1.4 rating and 5 share with approximately 3.717 million viewers.

I do know that Fringe fans were upset about something else. Fringe dropped below another series we follow, V Series. For the first time in weekly history, V Series whipped Fringe (discussed below) HOWEVER you need to look closer at Friday. Fringe was TIED for share and only POINT ONE below CSI in the critical 18-49 target group during the first thirty minutes. We would call that a WIN!

TV By The Numbers - Fringe - February 11, 2011

As WHR has stated before, season four of Fringe is still a certainty as we have reported previously. The facts are that the show runners have as much stated so. Some then ask why no season four announcement yet? Simple! There are a lot of episodes remaining and they want us to all watch LIVE. And we should!

V Series New Banner. Click to visit V on ABC!

Speaking of the ratings for the week ending Friday February 11, 2011, there is good news for fans of V Series? In this week the show now in its second season moved back up in the ratings against very steep competition. Now some may well say wait V Series is in fourth place on Tuesday evenings, and how is that an improvement?

Well if you look closely at the chart below you will see that V Series is on par for ABC series in the previous and subsequent hours! While I am sure that ABC would like to improve its Tuesday evening numbers, the question arises: Will V Series be renewed and could ABC move the series to another night!

TV By The Numbers - VSeries - February 08, 2011

Click to visit V Series on ABC!

Is it any coincidence that V Series jumped up approximately 111,000 viewers to 5.39 from 5.28 million viewers the previous week with a 1.8 rating and 5 share as news indicated that President Mubarok would resign?  In fact if you look carefully at the ratings for all television shows many continued to suffer in the ratings as mentioned above due to current “Real Life” events which culminated in a frenzy that adversely affected programs later in the week.

As we stated previously what kills a series is when fans stop watching live week after week for an extended period. Moreover the biggest problem is with illegal downloading and streaming which has reached epidemic proportions according to the latest report issued January of this year about Internet Infringement.

In closing for now, we ask please read the PDF file, do NOT pirate your television if you want them to survive, and PLEASE watch your favorite shows LIVE if you want them to continue! Thank you.

Fringe Review Fans Freak on Fringe Friday Over Fringe S3x12 and V Series Veterans Vibrate Over Ratings!

Hello Fringe and V Series fans!Fringe Season Three Retro Banner

Well our detailed analysis of Fringe episodes “Concentrate and Ask Again” is complete and we found the Fringies frankly freaking out on Fringe Friday February 04, 2011 as many did not seem to have understanding why the series did not do as well as “Reciprocity” the previous week? Frankly Fringe Fans First Forget about the last Fringe Friday numbers!

We leave the four smiley faces about Fringe being renewed because we do not believe anything changed on a permanent basis. If one consults with both Nielsen and  TV By the Numbers, the answers are right there in front of all of us to see for ourselves!

TV By The NumbeTVByTheNumbers-Fringe-Jan3011-4-SmileyFaces!rs has recently changed their opinion that Fringe is now likely to be renewed and then threw Fringe fans a freaking fast one at the FringClick to visit Neilsen Ratings Service!ies by not connecting the dots to analyze the why of last weeks ratings!

Well we here at WormholeRiders News Agency did some hard work looking at a large number of factors for you to understand the why and wherefore about what happened! Did Fringe fall forever or is there a logical explanation. Fear far less Fringies the competition last week was more than was stiff, it was both championship and revolutionary in nature! You may ask what the frakkin are we freaking talking about? Click to visit Warner Brothers Studios!Click to visit 20th Century Fox television!

First, Friday represented a draining of frequent Fringe fans to other broadcast networks is the “rating number” and “share” of the crucial 18-34 year old and 18-49 year old target groups for three primary reasons.

Reason number one was the escalating crisis in Egypt which siphoned off nearly 1 million viewers in the crucial time slots. Second was the pending Super Bowl with the famous pre championship show about commercials which racked up nearly 10 million viewers. Third and finally, Supernatural enjoyed a resurgence of nearly 1 million viewers as the chart illustrates below. Click to visit TV By The Numbers!

Add all the logical reasons up and it is easy to understand why Fringe dropped to a 1.7 (or 1.6 if you want to be pessimistic and use the half hour ratings mark!). Does this mean Fringe is about to fried? Frak no!

Fringe Friday Fringe 312 Feb0411 Chart Comparison

As WHR has stated before, season four of Fringe is still a certainty as we have reported previously. The fact that the number one sports championship in the world and the largest political crisis in the Middle East juxtaposed themselves on Fringe is no cause to freak out Fringie Friends!

Speaking of the low ratings for the week ending Friday February 04, 2011, lets review some more facts about another series, V Series? In fact if viewers examine the ratings for virtually every series were lower due to the political crisis in Egypt. Now some may say well no the crisis was entering its second week, so why does that or how could that matter?

Click to visit V Series on ABC!

People are you or have you been watching the news? The Egyptian crisis escalated from the previous week for goodness sakes and it was SUPERBOWL week too! Is it any coincidence that V Series also dropped approximately 425,000 viewers to 5.286 from 5.703 million viewers the previous week with a 2.0 rating for the previous week? We think not! In fact if you look carefully at the ratings for television shows many suffered in the ratings last as a result of current events.

We leave you the fans with an important thought for your consideration: A single week does not make or break a series. What kills a series is when fans stop watching live week after week for an extended period, so here is your mission this week; let the diplomats handle the crisis in Egypt and you handle the television remote control and watch your favorite shows LIVE! Thank you.

  • V Series Episode Four “Unholy Alliance” Pre-Review with Promo Video

V Series Episode Four “Unholy Alliance” Pre-Review with Promo Video

Hello once again V Series fans,Click to visit V Series on ABC!

More V Series produced at Warner Brothers continues this evening with “Unholy Alliance”!

Tonight Tuesday February 01, 2011 is the continuation of V on ABC. If you have not noticed by now we here at WormholeRiders News Agency believe that V Series is a wonderful science fiction treat!

According to the ABC “Unholy Alliance” episode description “After three Peace Ambassadors are murdered by the radical fraction of the Fifth Column, Erica tracks their leader; Anna visits the Vatican.“. However there is much more to theorize on and discuss without spoiling the fun tonight on ABC.

Click to visit and follow Warner Brothers Entertainment on Twitter!Having reviewed a number of “Unholy Alliance” episode pre-air date screeners, WHR can once again say that its a complete nightmare here on Earth! Tonight’s episode will certainly be a series of shockers as the title of hints at.  What Click to visit HDFilms official web site!the details are is a closely guarded secret, however V Series holds a number of surprises for supporters of the V franchise as season two unfolds before our very eyes.

Before we continue, below we include the ABC promo trailer for tonight for you to enjoy!

V Series S2x04 Unholy Alliance - On the way to the Vatican!

Now a bit of theoretical discussion about V Series “Unholy Alliance”. It is clear that the evilest Reptilian Queen Anna Visitor (Morena Baccarin) has become obsessed with understanding the soul of humanity! The question quickly becomes just how far and what depths of depravity will this Visitor Vixen go to to accomplish her mission? And with her minion Marcus Visitor (Christopher Shyer) at her side can she fail in dominating Earth? Even with the expected setbacks sure to be caused by the Fifth Column, just how much damage will befall humankind and at what cost?

V Series S2x04 Unholy Alliance - Anna in Vatican with Marcus!

V Series S2x04 Unholy Alliance - Anna at the Vatican!

In the opinion of this reviewer, “Unholy Alliance” is a pivotal episode in several ways. First as the title suggests the Visitors are about to make a “deal” with one of the largest religious organizations in the world! We can safely assume that evil Queen Anna and her side kick Marcus will also make additional visits to the leaders of the Imam’s of Muslim faith, Rabbi’s of Judaism, perhaps even the Dalia Lama himself! Is that is what is going on here for goodness … errr evilness sakes, a subversion of humanities faith?

V Series S2x04 Unholy Alliance - A meeting of doom?

    V Series S2x04 Unholy Alliance - Its a nightmare!
Second, it is about time for our heroes Erica Evans (Elizabeth Mitchell) Kyle Hobbes (Charles Mesure), Father Jack Landry (Joel Gretsch) to meet up with the more violent and seemingly better organized Fifth Column Resistance would you not say? And what about the poor “Anna” arm twisted Ryan Nichols (Morris Chesnut) ? Is he really gong to betray his human friends for Anna to save his daughter, or is there an alternative to save the little tyke from her rotten step mum Queen Anna? We certainly hope so!

V Series S2x04 Unholy Alliance - Elizabeth Mitchell as Erica

Third what is the status of Chad Decker (Scott Wofl) and his double agent mission? Is Chad going to be able to be of use to the Fifth Column? Or do Anna and Marcus actually have him under their evil control?

V Series S2x04 Unholy Alliance - Some in blue something new!
Lastly, for now, what will become of Tyler Evans (Logan Huffman) and Lisa Visitor (Laura VanDervoort). Is the poor lad destined to continue impregnating the Queen in waiting? Will the little army reptiles really be Tyler’s children and what will they feed the little monsters? I have bad news peoples, WE are the main course!?

V Series S2x04 Unholy Alliance - Tyler and Lisa
For these and other answers like new characters that are about to join the ensemble cast (which we are forbidden to reveal), we suggest you examine in the image below carefully! The image contains the requisite information required to ascertain the secrets to the questions of survival, destruction or enslavement of our world!

WHR will continue detailed post air date analysis reviews by our series editor after V Series airs each week on ABC. As the managing editor I continue to give a high grade for what the series has accomplished to date, an A PLUS!
