The second episode of season three “Don’t Look Up” represents a major pivot to the story arc after the superb third season opener of La Brea “Sierra”.

The episode title is an ironic play on words for vicious pterodactyls which attack our wormhole survivors from the sky in 10,000 BC. The scenes are realistically presented and artfully reminding the viewers of pterodactyls as seen in the hit film series Jurassic Park and Jurassic World.

In “Don’t Look Up”, since many members of the cast are no longer recurring or regular characters in La Brea season three as we shared in our analysis of episode one “Sierra“, series creator David Appelbaum discussed casting challenges during the pandemic during his recent interview with TVLine on “actor availability issues, There are so many situations and opportunities that come out through production that you write towards and you embrace in a pandemic and across a 17-hour time gap, can present problems, but that’s the job. You figure it out, and it is what it is. I think we’ve been able to hold onto what the heart of the show has always been, which is about this family trying to get back to each other. This is an action-adventure story about scale and scope and entertainment, and making it really emotional and making it exciting are the things that we’ve always held true to”.

“Don’t Look Up” dovetails the first episode which was aptly named for a person referred to by that military call sign “Sierra” that involved Gavin (Eoin Macken) and Levi’s (Nicholas Gonzales) past life during their armed forces service earlier in the twenty-first century. Sierra’s actual name is Maya Schmidt (Claudia Ware). No doubt we will learn more about the importance of Maya in season three episode three that is aptly named “Maya”.

La Brea S3x02 Ty in Los Angeles 2021

This exciting episode was written by Christopher Hollier and directed by Cherie Nowlan opens with Ty (Chiké Okonkwo) sitting in a restaurant called ‘The Sand Dollar’ somewhere near a Southern California beach subsequent to being transported by a dual colored aurora from 10,000 BC to early September 2021 in Los Angeles.

La Brea S3x02 Waitress brings Ty a beer

Ty’s arrival in the future of 2021 is a scant few weeks before the original wormhole sinkhole portal that began the adventure over two years ago.

The waitress (Shawnee Jones) brings Ty beer saying he needs it after Ty had ordered virtually everything on their menu. Ty blithely says “it’s just nice to eat something you don’t have to catch” which puts an inquisitive look on the waitresses face. The sincerely friendly waitress presses Ty on what he is deep in thought about; “a break up?” Ty shares it’s a bit more complicated than that, indirectly relating he just got back to Los Angeles after a trip where he was forced to leave his friends as well as the woman he loved.

La Brea S3x02 Ruth is in command of the fort

The scene segues to the fort village where Paara’s (Tonantzin Carmelo) second in command is a warrior named Ruth (Chantelle Jamieson). Interestingly, the hierarchy in the fort is female with Ruth, her daughter Leyla (Edyll Ismail) and a female warrior (Sharon Brooks) now in charge of the fort. As is appropriate, the men follow Ruth’s orders without question during Paara’s absence.

With Gavin’s and the survivors allies Ty in the future of 2021, Levi taken prisoner by the military soldiers, and Fort Leader Paara away for the time being, things quickly go from bad to worse because Ruth does not trust Gavin and his “Sky People” like Paara did. Viewers will learn why Ruth feels this way was as the episode continues.

La Brea S3x02 Tension between Gavin and Sam
Image by Mark Taylor courtesy NBC

The relationship between Sam (Jon Seda) and Gavin compounds the growing friction in the episode. Gavin tries to reason with Sam that his son Josh (Jack Martin) and Sam’s daughter Riley (Veronica St. Clair) may have been (were) sucked into the red side of the dual red / blue aurora wormhole portal that sent Ty ‘Back To The Future’ of 2021. Sam will not cooperate. This represents a juxtaposition of their characters with Gavin having become reasonable and Sam recalcitrant and obstreperous. Gavin shares with Sam that he believes Maya ‘Sierra’ Schmidt may be able to confirm that Josh and Riley could have been sent to the same time period as Eve (Natalie Zea) who disappeared in time last season. Sam storms out of the village fort.

La Brea 3x02 lovers and soon to be parents Veronica and Lucas
Image by Mark Taylor courtesy NBC

Meanwhile our young lovers, and parents to be Veronica (Lily Santiago) and Lucas (Josh McKenzie) are with Izzy (Zyra Gorecki), other survivors including the constantly complaining Judah (Damien Fotiou). They have all been assigned gardening duties by Ruth. Naturally, Judah is not happy with his work assignment forcing Lucas to tell him to “shut it”.

Veronica says if Judah keeps complaining they will “kick his ass”. The fun part of this interaction is that the Judah character provides good comic stress relief for viewers due to his constant bitching about everything and anything!

La Brea S3x02 Fort warrior found with a mangled body

Outside the village fort, a warning horn sound is heard. We find Sam with the body of a dead villager. Ruth demands to know why Sam has even been allowed to touch the deceased person whose body limbs have been twisted and mangled as if from a fall from a great height, perhaps from a tree.

Gavin suggests that the village person was accidentally killed. Ruth suspects someone from the nearby military from the future that kidnapped Levi and Maya’s daughter Petra (Asmara Feik) killed the man. Both ideas prove to be incorrect. We will learn soon enough it was pterodactyls that killed the man.

La Brea S3x02 Veronica and Scott search for clues
Image by Mark Taylor courtesy NBC

Ruth orders everyone to search for clues. Veronica and Scott (Rohan Mirchananey) are paired up and they discuss Ruth who is the village fort tyrant. Veronica says to Scott that everybody needs to calm down and things will be alright.

Scott disagrees sharing with Veronica that Ruth has a bad temper and personality similar to Judah. When asked how he knows, Scott says he learned Ruth killed her husband stabbing him with a knife, dumping hubby in the river. We must assume that Scott found out about Ruth when Scott visited the fort village in the past. Veronica’s eyes get larger!

La Brea S3x02 Sam starts a fight

Back at the village fort, Sam tries to leave to find Riley near the area of the dual colored aurora wormhole portal where she disappeared. Sam is stopped by village warriors guarding the gate.

Inevitably Sam’s bellicose behavior causes a fight to break out resulting in Sam and Gavin being locked up by mean ole’ Ruth.

Later we will learn that Ruth has good reasons for being so stern with the “Sky People” who do not follow orders like Sam and Gavin.

La Brea S3x02 Ty finds Sam at his hospital work

Back To The Future in 2021, Ty has tracked down Sam while he is on duty at the hospital where he works asking for his help.

Sam thinks Ty is crazy when he gives Sam a list of things and events that will transpire in the next 24 hours including details about his daughter Riley that no one should be aware of.

Thank goodness Ty has a great memory for dates and events or we would all be up the proverbial creek with even a frakking paddle!

La Brea S3x02 Ruth intervenes between Izzy and Leyla
Image by Mark Taylor courtesy NBC

Back in the fort, Izzy is practicing self defense with a bow and arrows. Leyla confronts Izzy, rudely snatching the bow from her.

Ruth is observing Izzy and Leyla bickering, and chastises them both, ultimately orders Leyla to teach Izzy how to use the weapon.

Reluctantly, but nevertheless as a product of Ruth forcing Leyla and Izzy to work together, they all set aside their differences and become friends. In the meantime Lucas requests that Ruth release Sam and Gavin.

La Brea S3x02 Pterodactyls attack Lucas and Ruth

Suddenly, as Lucas and Ruth are discussing the release of Sam and Gavin, the village fort tower guard falls to the ground dead.

Nearby we hear the horrible sounds of flying pterodactyls screeching as they decide to turn their attack on Ruth and Lucas who escape within a inch of their lives!

This disaster proves to everyone that there are more important things than bickering; such as the Ouroboros spirals Scott and Veronica have observed nearby.

La Brea S3x02 Scott finds the pterodactyl ouroboros

They then learn that the pterodactyls lay their eggs in these spirals AND one such spiral is in the proximity of the village.

This is what precipitated the pterodactyl attacks in the first place. How and why? Because our resident genius Scott remembered that Ouroboros spirals are really their egg nests.

What the pterodactyls are doing is protecting their eggs in these spirals. Next we find out one spiral is in the proximity of the village fort. All of this motivates the village fort people and our survivors to learn to work together to move the pterodactyl eggs outside the vicinity of the fort.

La Brea S3x02 Gavin Sam and Scott save the day and make peace with Ruth
Image by Mark Taylor courtesy NBC

Ultimately, by making them all safer, a kumbaya moment is achieved ending the tension between the two disparate groups of human beings separated by 12,000 years of history.

Ruth shares with Lucas and Riley that her grandfather was a “Sky Person” from the 1960’s as the villagers refer to people who were deposited in their time by the wormhole sinkhole portals.

Ruth is observed giving Veronica and Lucas a small rocket her grandfather had cherished. We shall see if that rocket may play a role in a future episode.

La Brea S3x02 Our heros watch with satisfaction as the pterodactyls leave

After successfully luring the pterodactyls away from the fort, our heroes find a hiding place to observe as the flying beasts examine their egg in the new Ouroboros Scott, Veronica and Lucas made to make certain their offspring is safe and sound.

Once this is accomplished, Gavin decides to seek out two people to make amends for his past behavioral outbursts when he was an alcoholic and not providing for his family.

La Brea S3x02 Pterodactyls happy at new ouroboros

First Gavin finds Izzy asking her to forgive his former behavior.

Second is Sam with whom Gavin shares that the military base may be in the same location in 10,000 BC where Levi and Petra are.

Additionally, Gavin believes the base is in the same place as it was in 2021 with Maya ‘Sierra’ Schmidt there. Is there an alternate Time Travel Facility at the military base in 10,000 BC, and was Gavin involved in the future but somehow lost his memory of it ? Also, is this where Riley, Josh and perhaps Eve are? Most likely. We shall see.

La Brea S3x02 Gavin is in jail

As the episode winds down, 2021 Sam visits Ty at the restaurant. Sam demands to know how Ty knew about the future events he mentioned. Ty, to an incredulous Sam, reveals the entire story to the 2021 version of Sam.

Both agree to visit the Los Angeles air base with someone who was stationed there. Who could that be viewers wonder? You guessed it, the person is none other than 2021 Gavin who has been arrested on a drunken binge!

La Brea S3x02 Gavin is bailed out of jail

The final sequence finds us with Ty and Sam who bail out a 2021 Gavin from the Los Angeles county jail after his latest alcoholic binge (pre wormhole) caused by Gavin’s visions  The three agree to find the secret base in 2021!

La Brea items for our consideration: Will Ty be successful in 2021 with the Sam and Gavin of that time period? What happened at the air force base that caused this all to happen? Will Gavin be able to recover his memories of “Sierra”? For these and other answers, tune in next week for episode three named “Maya” or the military code name “Sierra” to find out if Ty, Gavin and Sam will be successful in helping their friends and family trapped in 10,000 BC!

Join us on each of the next four weeks on X (Twitter) to enjoy a fun live tweet for the final season of La Brea when we will find out the secrets of season three in 10,000 BC in order to hopefully find “The Road Home” Back To The Future!

    Greetings fellow Comic-Con enthusiasts!

This year’s event was quite the experience. Having attended San Diego Comic-Con since 2012, I can attest that it has always been the most significant, wildest, and most exciting show. Even during the pandemic, when everything went virtual, Comic-con remained a beacon of hope for us who love this event. But thankfully, in 2022, the convention came back in full force and was better than ever before.

However, I learned that major studios like Marvel, Disney, and HBO (now called Max) wouldn’t attend the 2023 convention. Initially, I thought it wouldn’t be an issue, but then the writer’s and actor’s strikes happened, and many people thought it spelled doom for Comic-Con. Nevertheless, I remained hopeful because I knew that the original incarnation of Comic-Con was all about comics and always will be. Even if some parts of the convention are affected by strikes or other issues, we will always have a love for comics that brings us together.

Jamie Lee Curtis-Mother Nature panel SDCC 2023
    Images by Lori of TeamWHR

Despite the recent SAG/AFTRA strike, some actors could still attend because they had other projects that fell outside the strike’s parameters. One such actor was recent Oscar winner Jamie Lee Curtis. She was promoting her upcoming comic book called Mother Nature. The line to get in the room was long, and I was worried I wouldn’t be able to get in.

There were about ten seats left in the way back. I was one of the lucky ones to get those precious final seats. We were all so relieved to get in as we waited over an hour. It was worth it. The panel and Jamie Lee were great. I had a great time. It was fantastic to see Jamie Lee venturing into the comic world and embracing that genre.

    2023-07-23 SDCC Vendors Room

Things were different at Comic-Con regarding entertainment panels, and that’s okay. The megalithic Hall H was used, but not as much as it typically is. Usually, Warner Brothers, Netflix, HBO, and other studios have panels for their most popular shows and movies in Hall H, where attendees often camp out for days in advance to get a front-row seat. That was missing this year, albeit there were a few panels in Hall H, but nothing like in the past. In fact there were no Sunday panels in Hall H or many of the other huge ballrooms. As a result, the convention floor for exhibits, artists, vendors, and other panel rooms, particularly the smaller ones,  were a lot busier with all the people who usually would be in panels in Hall H, Ballroom 20, or the Indigo Ballroom at the Hilton Bayfront hotel choosing other options.

The vendors exhibit hall floor was busier this year, and lines were capped quicker than usual. Merchandise was being bought faster, which was terrific for the vendors counting on the attendees to buy their wonderful wares. In fact, several vendors sold out and had to bring in additional stock. It also gave independent artists more exposure as well. More people on the floor meant more people venturing to “Artists Alley” to discover the newest art and their fabulous offerings.

I saw more people at the comic book vendor’s booths this year, which was beautiful. Collectibles were always part of the fold when it came to Comic-Con. You can find pretty much anything that interests a collector. Two of my favorites were a Pee Wee Herman figurine and the robot from Bad Robot Productions.

The bigger booths were missing from the floor: Netflix, ABC Disney, HBO, Marvel, and Warner Brothers to name but a few.

One major vendor that was missing that I always enjoy was Sideshow Collectibles.

Sideshow is always a highlight and one of the busiest booths on the floor. I always loved seeing the incredible statutes displayed at that booth.

Instead, this year Sideshow had its own virtual convention that featured its most popular and newest statues. I hope that they will return next year.

    Abe Sapien-ECC Booth-SDCC 2023

With Sideshow not a part of the convention floor this year, that gave way to other vendors to take its place. Lego had paid homage to the Blockbuster video stores we all loved in the 80s and set up a “Brickbuster” store on the convention floor. Funko and Mondo again were the most significant booths on the floor, and lines there were hours.

Thankfully Star Wars had their own booth since they had no panels this year. Mattel Creations, Entertainment Earth, Super 7, Dark Horse Comics, and IDW all had their booths running as usual, making the floor feel like home. Even though Sideshow was not present, there are always fun statues to see. One of my favorite vendors is Elite Creature Collectibles; their busts are incredible and very life-like. The one I loved the most was the bust of Abe Sapien from the Hellboy movies.

John & Kathy Romita panel-SDCC 2023Smaller panels featuring comic artists were highlighted and focused despite needing more significant panels. I went to the John Romita, Jr panel, and it was terrific. He and his wife Kathy held court and discussed his career and famous father. I had heard of Romita (both Senior and Junior) through friends of mine that are comic book nerds.

I had a great time in the panel and learned more about how comic books get published and what an incredible life he has had, and the dedication it takes to do what he does. The endless hours, Kathy chimed in that she should write a book about being the wife of a comic book artist.

    Conan the Barbarian panel-SDCC 2023

    Matt Murray & Jim Zub-Conan the Barbarian panel-SDCC 2023

I also sat in on a Conan the Barbarian panel with editor Matt Murray, Jim Zub, and Fred Malmberg all of whom are associated with this superb new comic graphic novel.

The panel was produced by by Titan Comics and Heroic Signatures who are launching a new monthly Conan the Barbarian graphic novel series.

It was a fun panel that I really enjoyed!

As I have a good friend who is a die-hard Conan the Barbarian lover, I learned a bit more about the famous sword-wielding hero that is not apparent in the movie renditions of this famous character.

The Conan the Barbarian graphic novel creators revealed that Solomon Kane will return to the fold. I know some people will be happy to hear that. Below the Conan trailer, we include a fun interview courtesy of Fanbase Press.

Due the cancellation of many panels this year, I could also explore the convention floor and find more vendors I would have commonly overlooked. As with all conventions of significant size, everything will have pros and cons (pun intended).

One panel I could attend this year, which I unfortunately missed last year, was for Stern Pinball. I had the pleasure of interviewing Jody Dankberg about the company and any future endeavors the previous year. It was much fun, and they let us know that Venom was the newest addition to their comic book pinball machines. I did not get a chance to play the pinball machines like last year, but I have played many of their machines in the past, and they are always a lot of fun.

The other wonderful thing I love about San Diego Comic-Con is that there are always things to do, whether in the Convention Center itself or at the Marriott Marquis, outside behind the Convention Center, at Petco Park or just enjoying the always outstanding Cosplay.

There is always something to do for comics, entertainment and games fans for all visitors to San Diego. Thankfully the weather this year was not as hot as it usually is. It was a little bit odd with light rain in the weather, but everything was still fun, nonetheless.

    2023-07-23 Gaslamp Quarter
Image courtesy Gaslamp Quarter Dot Org

Also, the great thing about San Diego is that the historic Gaslamp Quarter or district that always has themed restaurants during Comic-Con. You will find restaurants modeled after Bob’s Burgers, or Interview with the Vampire. I went to one modeled after Mooby’s from the Kevin Smith movies. I went there with a few friends, and we had burgers and beer, and it was decorated in that fashion of the film, plus there was also merchandise. So it was nice to escape the Convention Center for some time. But again, the Gaslamp Quarter always has themed restaurants which is so much fun!

The activation’s, as always, had long lines this year, but that’s par for the course regarding Comic Con. The most significant activation this year was the Jurassic Park 30th Anniversary which featured the top scenes from this iconic movie. We include a fabulous video of the exciting experience courtesy of IGN below for your enjoyment.

Another fun exclusive to San Diego Comic-Con 2023 was the Quantum Leap activation provided by the great folks at NBC Universal Entertainment.

With expanded coverage as compared to SDCC 2022, over the four days of Comic-Con events, located across from the convention center near the entrance to the GaslampQuarter, Quantum Leap fans could “leap” into the terrific television worlds of “Law & Order,” “SVU” and “Organized Crime,” “The Voice” and “Chucky” to help stabilize the timelines with the help of the “Quantum Leap” time travel team!

SDCC is always wonderful to experience. Just be prepared for long lines in the sun and always take along lots of sunscreen and plenty of water to stay hydrated. Another fun experience was strolling through Lazlo’s garden from What We Do In The Shadows. We include a cool video below about this fun experience courtesy of Through the Lens of Lady Kay B.

What We Do in the Shadows installation-SDCC 2023However, it was a shock to the system for many people who are usually at Comic-Con for the TV shows or movies coming down the pipeline. People adjusted well, and they could have a good time no matter what. They could still enjoy themselves even without the big panels, no matter what. I know I did. And you learn new things about comic books, games, Cosplay that you didn’t even know about, and that’s what’s always fun about these conventions. You find new and exciting things to be happy about. Overall, it was a fun time, and I look forward to attending Comic-Con again in 2024, regardless of whether it has the studio’s presence.

Lastly, I’m in solidarity with both the writers and actors as I am both in real life and will pursue a career later in my life as a director. I know there was talk about the strikes; there was concern about the future of Comic Con and what would happen if the strikes continued. I hope you enjoyed this article and will take comfort in knowing that Comic-Con has been going strong for 50-plus years and doesn’t plan on slowing down anytime soon!

Hello, My Fellow WormholeRiders Pinball Enthusiasts!

With Comic-Con 2022 firmly in the past and me fully recovered from the whirlwind again, I begin my coverage of the Pop-Culture event that returned for the first time in three years when I had the exquisite pleasure of interviewing Jody Dankberg, Senior Director of Licensing and New Business Development of Stern Pinball for Team WHR on July 21, 2022. And what a wonderful Pin-Ball gaming experience it was!

As a child of the 80s, video games and pinball were a staple at the local arcade. I was one of those awkward kids that used to stand for hours and pump quarters into the pinball machines, trying to hit that top score and add your name to the list of legends already there. I have always been a huge fan of pinball, so when the opportunity arose to interview Jody, I jumped at the chance. I include a video sample of the great Stern Pinball games below for your enjoyment.

Stern Pinball specializes in unique and pop culture pinball machines. From classic tv shows and movies like Batman ‘66, Star Trek and The Munsters to ones from music icons such as Rolling Stones, AC/DC and Kiss.

It was so cool to see all the literal bells and whistles that these games come with. The way the player can be interactive with the game is incredible. Just looking at all the cool hidden gems that are part of each game is really a treat for those of us that remember the shows or movies.

The newest Stern Pinball editions are Led Zeppelin and Rush, complete with flashing lights and symbols from their most famous songs. Here in my hometown of San Francisco there are a multitude of bars and arcades that feature many of the incredible games from Stern. We include the the Stern Pinball Rush Edition video below for your enjoyment.

One of the places I have gone to several times is the Emporium, an arcade and bar that features several of these games. I have had the pleasure of playing these incredibly fun games and it is not easy. Pinball requires good hand eye coordination. You must make sure to hit those targets and make the bells ring. Some games, like Stranger Things (video included below), you must get the ball in the Demogorgon’s mouth, no easy task. You get three tries and if not, well then back to the upside down it goes.

Speaking with Jody, who is a guru of pinball, I learned a little more about what pinball is and why it has always been such a fun game to play. There will be an exciting announcement of new games in the Fall and toward Christmas.

My first question to him is why is pinball so popular? His answer was that his “objective was when he became a part of the company 13 years ago that he turns pinball into the popular game it once was” (and frankly in my opinion always has been). There is “such a high demand now for games not only from the core customers but so many casual folks, families, younger fans and even little kids.” He mentioned the folks at The Emporium who are great friends of Stern and from Chicago as well. Their pinball machines are also demanded in places like Nashville and Las Vegas. “They are giving you entertainment and nostalgia; the nostalgia brings you in” Jody had said about why these machines are played more. “It is something, social, it is something fun, it gets you out, it also brings people together. It can be something you do by yourself…” to me this is another reason pinball is so vital to the gaming community.

2022-07-21 Stern Pinball Press Room Godzilla
Image by Lori Glumac for WormholeRiders News Agency

Stern Pinball has a program call the Stern Heads-Up Pinball Invitational which is a competitive show that is available to watch on YouTube for the competitive pinball players. He mentioned that there is the Godzilla pinball being released very soon. There were two rooms dedicated to these incredible pinball machines at the Marriott Marquis. Entering the room was fun and all you could see were the fans playing the machines like Deadpool, Jurassic Park and one of the newest music ones Rush. There was a big Godzilla figure in the room as the hint of what is to come from Stern.

Being a global company that ships all over the world, “when we obtain a license, it must be known all over the world, everywhere. From Australia, to here in the States, to Europe, South America.” Jody stressed that the license being global and widely known makes for a good game. With games like The Mandalorian (video below) with a small Grogu and his force wielding powers or Godzilla there are good guys and bad guys, battles, etc., which makes for a fun game. You want to combine a really A+ title, with fun and that is a winning success. The do have different genres as well, sci-fi, music, retro, tv shows, cultural zeitgeist such as The Walking Dead, Game of Thrones, Stranger Things. He mentioned that he is always thinking about what the next one is. He had mentioned the television show The Boys, who knows that will be in the works soon, fingers crossed.

When I asked Jody what his favorite pinball machine was growing up, he mentioned that his grandfather owned an arcade (how perfect) in Tucson, Arizona and he would spend a lot of time there when he was little. He remembers that when nighttime came the older kids would come in, “with their mustaches and long hair, smoking cigarettes,” they would play the pinball machines. He did mention some of the older games that he wished he were exposed to like Flash Gordon, because he loved that movie (I mean who does not love it?). For the time, the Flash Gordon game was an innovative, neat game to have around, made cool sounds and was just very nostalgic for him. I can totally relate to what Jody is saying, it is those nostalgic games, movies, television shows that need to be revived for the simple fact that they will always be cool. It is also another way for the current generation to be exposed to those iconic movies, shows and pop culture of that era. He mentioned that one game he would love to have been the Robocop game. There is one at Logan Arcade in Chicago, so if you are in the Chicago area and want to experience what it is like to be Robocop, stop on by.

I asked Jody out of the current ones that are out right now which one is his favorite. He mentioned that he “comes from the music business and my heart and soul is really into music” two bands he mentioned were Iron Maiden and Metallica. Between those two powerhouse mega metal groups Metallica is his favorite. The music inspired games from Led Zeppelin and Rush, two of the most iconic and beloved bands in the world, held a bit of fond memories for him. Jody remembers his father showing him those albums and listening to the music while sitting on the floor of his home, and now he gets to collaborate with them, talk about dream come true!

My last question was a bit of a mystery, and I am okay with that. I asked him what would be his “dream themed game.” He said that “people that know me, know the answer to that question, he couldn’t reveal the answer” because well…I will leave it at that. They are working on his dream theme; he could only tell me that it is retro and something from his childhood. I am looking forward to seeing what incredible theme Stern has coming down the pipeline. It is something “dear to his heart, he is really excited about it,” since Jody and I are of the same generation, I am also excited to see what that new dream theme machine that is coming.

This interview was so much fun, and I learned a lot about a game that I grew up with and dearly love.
